"I don't ever want to know what it's like to be alone."
—Blackie, basically stating most of the conflict that doesn't involve saving the world.

An RPG currently in production by Ammika Channing, the writer of APT Comic.

When a young boy wakes up in a forest, something probably happened. When he's greeted by another boy with bat wings that seems to exist only in his mind, something WEIRD probably happened. Meet Blackie and Eclipse, the protagonists, as one tries to figure out what happened before he woke up there and the other decides to be as unhelpful as possible about it. For his own good, obviously. There's adventure, Fantastic Racism, conspiracies, and PANDAS!

Might be some unmarked spoilers ahead!

Tropes used in Lunacy (video game) include:

The world in general

The protagonists, Blackie and Eclipse

  • Alliteration, Incredibly Lame Pun: Eclipse loves this stuff. See the "funny flying Furbies" above.
  • Trauma-Induced Amnesia: How Blackie lost his memory. As with everything else, many lampshades are hung when Eclipse comments that he managed to get "the one kind of amnesia that you could easilly fix with a flashback. So, no big deal. Cue black and white cutscene!" As with every other thing, Blackie's lack of perception through the fourth wall leaves him confused.
  • Pink Means Feminine. Hi there, Blackie.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: Blackie has pink- err, light red hair. Charish has light blue. Their demons, which could very well count as Oni (ecspeccially if you consider Eclipse's weapon of choice), have personalities to match.
  • Sealed Demon In A Kid, Enemy Within: The protagonist, and demon hosts in general, according to everyone met other than the pro- and an-tagonists. Also, Eclipse's choker, which keeps him silly-crazy instead of murderous-crazy.
  • You Gotta Have Blue Hair: Hair colors range from pink and purple to dirty blond and brown. Apparently, demon hosts are more likely to have "bright" color schemes, but it's not a sure sign.
