Canon Defilement:
- Jayfeather is now lacking the "jerk" part of Jerk with a Heart of Gold, and seems to have mated with some random ShadowClan cat, despite him being disgusted with forbidden relationships.
  - Not to mention the fact that not a single cat in the Clan objects to his Warrior Code-shattering relationship, either.
- Sandstorm is perfectly fine with Stargleam stealing Firestar from her, and doesn't protest at all.
- Firestar, Graystripe and Blackstar are all suddenly prone to neglecting their existing mates and falling in love with apprentices instead.
  - Part of Blackstar's reasoning for falling in love with Stargleam is that she beat him in battle, something the real Blackstar would be far too proud to admit.
- Graystripe now hates Firestar, calls him an idiot, and says he's a mean cat.
- Hawkfrost betrays Tigerstar simply because Stargleam is kawaii.
- Daisy, now FoxDaisypaw, has decided to become a warrior. She is also being trained by Cloudtail, practically setting her up for truckloads of Die for Our Ship.
- The fic takes place after Sunset, meaning it would be set in the lake territories, but the mention of the Highrock and Moonstone suggest that it is set in the Old Forest.
- Everyone apparently seems to be very happy that ThunderClan is being ruled by an apprentice six moons and three days old.
- Why exactly is Hollyleaf working with Tigerstar again? Canonically, she's a warrior code-obsessed Knight Templar who went through extreme Break the Cutie and Sanity Slippage, so why is she suddenly working with one of the most coldhearted and cruel villains in the series, who broke her precious Warrior Code multiple times? And why does she try to kill Firestar if she only has a grudge against Leafpool and Squirrelflight? And why is she one of Three now?
- The actual books feature a lot of Gray and Grey Morality, and the authors make a point out of avoiding Card Carrying Villains and giving all villainous characters fleshed out motives. This fic?

Draco in Leather Pants: Hawkfrost was chosen to undergo a Heel Face Turn so that he could fall in love with StarGleam, presumably just because of his status as a Memetic Sex God and prime example of Evil Is Sexy.
- Oddly enough, Ashfur falls for GleamStar's charms too, but doesn't undergo this treatment, despite him being an incredibly popular Draco in Leather Pants among the rest of the fanbase.
Ensemble Darkhorse: FluffyKit.
Generic Doomsday Villain: Er... what were Hollyleaf and Tigerstar's motives again?
Grew the Beard and Jumped the Shark: The general opinion seems to be that it became more than your average bad fanfic somewhere between chapters ten and twelve.
Hilarious in Hindsight: In Chaptr Three The Training Under The Star, it's mentioned that StarKit loved JazzPaw (not in that way you sicko!). Now, they're mates.
Idiot Plot
Mary Sue: StarGleam... just, StarGleam...
- Black Hole Sue: The entire fic is pretty much about how she is the most important cat in the forest. At one point, cats from the other Clans even refer to her as their leader.
- God Mode Sue: She oneshots Tigerstar. Freaking TIGERSTAR!
  - "StarPaw beat FireStar 8/10 times once she let him win to make him fel bettar and b y the last one she was alittle tired." Good lord.
- Jerkass Sue: A large chunk of the story consists almost entirely of StarGleam running around yelling at gay couples about how wrong it is to be gay.
- Parody Sue: Or so one can hope.
- Possession Sue: Hawkfrost, who becomes a Draco in Leather Pants to match StarGleam's Relationship Sue.
- Purity Sue: Jesus--er, GleamStar, of course, who gave the caln the Ten Comondants and helped them find Ljess in order to protect them from becoming sinners.
- Relationship Sue: StarGleam has Firestar, Graystripe, Blackstar, Hawkfrost, and Ashfur padding after her for no particular reason. She eventually hooks up with JazzSong, however.
- Sympathetic Sue: We're supposed to feel sorry for her because of the above situation.
- Villain Sue: For about ten seconds, when she undergoes a Face Heel Turn.
Memetic Mutation: It's becoming very popular on a certain fansite to quote and/or reference the fic.
Misaimed Fandom: The author believes that StarClan can solve all problems and that nothing will go wrong if the Clans follow their path. She doesn't realise that, although StarClan is worshipped like God, their power is actually limited, they choose to play The Watcher instead of God, and are, if anything, used to criticise fanatical religious bigots like her.
Narm: All of it.
- There's even a literal Narm in one chapter. "Then by the powers of Starclan, I gave you this narme."
One True Threesome:

Firestar didn't leave insted he said i thought I herd you asking her to be our mate."

Rooting for the Empire: Basically everyone reading the fic agrees that RedPaw and LakePool are the real heroes of the story.
- It's not RedPaw and LakePool being heroes so much as their persecution by StarGleam being the thing that makes her so unlikable.

Straw Man Has a Point: The characters opposing GleamStar generally have more valid points than she does.
Wangst: StarGleam's angst over her Clan "bevoming quare."
- The author's newfound plebian-ness.
- The fic takes a level in emo in Chapter 23 The Vist, wherein StarGleam angsts about how terrible it is that her best friend rejected her, probably because she declared her love via fanfic.

You Fail Biology Forever: GleamStar's kits come out through her stomach.
You Fail Logic Forever: The author admits to herself that she is a lesbian after she discovers slash. How reading stories about two men makes someone realise that they like women is a mystery.
- Process of elimination.
You Fail Religious Studies Forever: The Clans have never heard of God, nor do they practice any human religions. Yet they still say "Oh my god!" (or rather "OMG!" or "MOGOSH!"), and the Ten Commandments (or rather "Ten Commons") play a role in the story.
- The fact that anybody who doesn't like the fic is instantly a "stnist" who hates "jEssus" may count, too.
