• Angel-Devil Shipping: Put someone who is in the Frank’s gang (angels) with someone in the Morty’s gang (devils), and you get this.
• Awesome Ego: Victor and Morty. Frank can also count.
• Catharsis Factor: Every time Quasim gets his just desserts for his bullying behavior and generally being an unlikable character. Miss Hit knocking him out twice in the second album is a standing example of this.
  • In the fourth album, after all the atrocities Morty has done in order to win the Pumpkinball match and acting like a smug little shit all the while, seeing his utter defeat and subsequent Humiliation Conga is extremely satisfying.
• Cliché Storm: The fourth album has the plot of every sports movie ever in a nutshell. This isn't a bad thing in the least, thanks to the comic's surreal humor and some unexpected twists thrown in, making the album an Affectionate Parody.
• Crazy Awesome: Frank. Just... Frank.
• Crosses the Line Twice: Always.
• Cult Classic: Isn't really known outside of its own country, but many people who read and, in some cases, grew up with it absolutely love it.
• Dude, Not Funny: The third album's story about Skin and bulimia jokes can be considered this. Either that, or an example of Crosses the Line Twice.
• Evil Is Cool: The "Muerte Chunga" team uniforms in the fourth album. This is acknowledged In-Universe, with Momses wishing Guillotine would have made them their uniforms too. Considering his team's overly pink, strawberry uniform, it's not without reason.
  • Morty is considered this in general. As is Miss Hit.
• Foe Yay: Morty seems a little too obsessed with Frank. True, he's after his brains, but the way he goes about it is... questionable, to say the least.
  • In the "Todo Minimonsters" cover, we can see him drooling over him. While one of his eyes is staring at his brains, the loose one looks like he's looking somewhere else.
• Funny Moments: The entire comic. No kidding.
• Growing the Beard: While the first album ("El Veneno de Porcelana"/"The Porcelain Poison") was already pretty good, the second album ("The Perfeccionator") proves to be this due to the increase in quality, better storyline and amounts of characterization on the main and secondary characters.
• Ho Yay: Quite a bit.
• It Was His Sled: Miss Hit is Henrietta's evil alter-ego. It was so painfully obvious not even the album itself tries to hide it.
  • In the fourth album, Victor betrays the Frank's Gang and joins Morty's Gang for a while. Again, the album's cover and description spoils it.
• Jerkass Woobie: Victor Von Piro has shades of this. He’s undeniably a spoiled jerk who treats everyone like total crap and only thinks about himself, doing such things like helping the villain to achieve his goal and betraying his own friends by joining their rival's gang. However, those things were done to come back to his former home Miedópolis, failing in both cases. Also, his life really sucks: He has a very embarrassing family, is a Lonely Rich Kid who has No Social Skills; and, to top it all off, he's pretty much the universe's punching bag (although he sometimes deserves it). Hard to not feel bad for him sometimes.
  • To say nothing on Miss Hit. Sure, she's a queen bitch, but being the Super-Powered Evil Side of Henrietta, is not like she choosed to be that. Her Villainous BSOD after discovering her true self is still Henrietta only remarks her woobie-ness.
  • Add to that list Flan Hellsing. A monster hunter, he's absolutely pathetic and, deep down, he knows it.
  • Skin is usually a dick, but he has an abusive mom who outright prefers Gus over him. Not to mention, like Mienai, he gets put through hell.
• Just Here for Godzilla: Meta-example. Many bought the ¡Dibus! magazine just for this comic alone, being the most successful by far.
• Love to Hate: Victor, Morty, Rattus Sapiens, Miss Hit and Flan Hellsing. They range from being standard jerks to outright villains, but damn if they're not hilarious or awesome. Or both at the same time.
• Memetic Mutation: Due to the "Gaysper" meme, David Ramírez posted his version featuring Gus, which did not go unnoticed by the fandom.
• Moe: Basically every minimonster, but Gus takes the cake.
• Moral Event Horizon: Morty Vivente was never a nice guy to begin with, but when he hires a minimonster-eater giant spider to eat Piruja and her mom just to ensure the Frank's Gang's defeat, he truly proves to be the town's resident sociopath. Made all the worse when you take into account Piruja is his girlfriend's best friend.
  • He crossed it earlier by putting Billy and his family out of comission by making Victor clean the town dump, all for a pumpkinball game.
• Nightmare Fuel: There's hell of a lot in this series, along with Nausea Fuel.
• The Scrappy: You'll be hard-pressed to find someone who likes Quasim, an ugly, stupid, painfully unfunny douchebag whom rarely pays for his actions. The fact his favourite victims are Gus and Lupo's little siblings only makes him even more hated. He's so unlikeable that when Miss Hit gives him a Megaton Punch twice in the second album, it comes as a glorious and awesome Take That, Scrappy! moment, finally getting some comeuppance for his actions. To be fair, he's also this trope In-Universe (making him more of a Hate Sink), but the fact he's still unfunny in a comic like this grates to a lot of fans.
• Squick: A lot, considering the kind of humor the author uses. Billy in particular is a recurring fountain of these moments, both from the characters and the readers.
• Take That, Scrappy!: Quasim may be many things, but a Creator's Pet ain't one of them. Frank's mocking imitation of him (As OOC it seems later on) in the first album is basically saying what the readers are thinking, while Miss Hit decking him twice in the second was a fully appreciated Catharsis Factor for someone who is usually a Karma Houdini.
• Toy Ship: All canon and non-canon Minimonster pairings, most of them being Ho Yay.
• Ugly Cute: Every Minimonster is cute, but Piruja takes this trope to a whole new level.
  • Frank's new pet, Caca Einstein. Never a Living Poo looked so adorable.
• Unpopular Popular Character: Victor Von Piro. Hated In-Universe, loved (or at least more liked) by the fandom.
• The Woobie: Most characters have moments, but these are the most prominent ones:
  • The most straight-up example is Gus. Despite his cuteness, he's treated like crap by most of the characters. Although it's Played for Laughs (mostly), the fact that it's GUS makes you feel sorry for him.
  • Frank is a huge one, as revealed in "El Perfeccionator". It makes his Break the Cutie process really hard to watch. That said, he's also an Iron Woobie.
  • Lupo comes from a very poor background, has to take care of his siblings at a young age, and he's frequently insulted for this (In particular, his asshat of a "friend" Víctor). With a situation like this, it's no wonder he's so snippy.
  • Poor, poor Henrietta. Being an Ill Girl who can't get out of her house most of the time and having Miss Hit as an alter-ego is really, really sad. Hell, her introductory scene is of her crying in a corner! She does get better, but still.
  • Mienai may not be a saint, but he definitely doesn't deserve quite as much crap as his teammates do, much less being the gang's punching bag (Especially Morty's). The fact he's the nicest and most pleasant member of the group just makes it worse. The only reason he isn't a Jerkass Woobie is because his jerkass tendencies are pale in comparison to the other characters, and may not even be genuine to begin with.
  • Billy usually averts this thanks to his happy-go-lucky disposition, but becomes this in the fourth album. He becomes Morty's Unwitting Pawn by letting Morty's Gang clean the dumpster and make him and his family entirely sick, all of this to ensure Morty's victory over Frank's Gang.
• What Do You Mean It's for Kids?: Seriously, with all the Toilet Humour, Black Comedy and sexual innuendo, it’s surprising that it's still considered for kids.
