Badass Automaton of angels or similar spiritual beings. Frequently, heaven tends to keep track on technology, and angels are often the military force of such place. They can serve for a host of purpose, often holy or neutral depending on what their jobs requires. This could land in the Rule of Cool, thanks to the combination. They could also be artificially created and become a version of Holy Hand Grenade.

- Steel Angel Kurumi has steel angels. They were said to be created by a Mad Scientist and were call "dolls".
- Angeloids in Sora no Otoshimono.
- The sole inhabitant of the Imaginary Number District in A Certain Magical Index is an artificial angel, definitely of the Holy Hand Grenade sort.

Fan Works
- Fusion Gundam in Final Stand of Death are this thanks to being angels fused with Mechanical Lifeforms and humanoid wolves.
- In episode 5, it's discovered in their original form, i.e. minus their armor, they also process Glowing Mechanical Eyes, while the other ghosts od the fallen have normal eyes.

- Seraph from The Matrix series was created by the Oracle to serve as a "guardian angel".
