Alright everyone, it's time to talk about Styxhexenhammer666.

Styxhexenhammer666 (real name Tarl Warwick) is a YouTuber and editor of Occult Literature, who is highly outspoken, and who makes videos on the subject of his views on politics, the Occult, and religion. He also does videos where he tries out military rations, as well as Minecraft videos.

Styxhexenhammer666 provides examples of the following tropes:

Alternative Calendar: Has made a video where he talks about the Hindu and Mayan ideas of cycles of time: Yugas and Bak'tuns respectively.
Arch Enemy: Styx has a personal beef with Jared Holt of Right Wing Watch, as Holt once accused Styx of being a white-supremacist.
Ars Goetia: Has referenced it on several occasions, has read it, and has edited it, as well as several other Grimoires within the same "Solomonic" tradition.
Ascended Meme: *Spoon Clank*, to the point where Styx has mounted a spoon on his wall out of appreciation for it.
- During his debate with Nicholas Fuentes, Styx wore a spoon in his breastpocket.
ASMR: Styx has written a short tract on the subject, called "The Occult Basis of ASMR".
- Apparently some of Styx's viewers consider his MRE videos to be a kind of ASMR.
Atlantis: Has done a video on the subject of it. He believes that Atlantis might have existed, but doesn't believe the Steampunk-esque visions of it put forward by people like Ignatius Donoly and Helena Blavatsky.
Big Name Fan: Of Sargon of Akkad, Computing Forever, Razorfist the Rageoholic, Stefan Molyneux, and Paul Joseph Watson.
- Sargon is also a fan of Styx, and has recommended Styx's work to his viewers.
- Styx himself is also a very vocal supporter of President Trump, and has made videos where talks about Trump's political decisions, and what he thinks of them personally.
Belief Makes You Stupid: Subverted. Styx is an Occultist, and Occultism is religion and philosophy, just not mainstream religion and philosophy. That said, he is not fond of religious fundamentalism.
Catch Phrase: He opens every video with "Alright YouTube" or "Alright Everyone" (though his more recent videos begin with the latter more often than not), and closes every video with "That's about all. Peace out."
Deadpan Snarker: His signature style features heavy amounts of deadpanning.
Fanservice: Spends many videos with his shirt open.
Godwin's Law: Has often been falsely accused of being either a Nazi, a White Nationalist, or a member of the Alt-Right by S.J.W.s, mostly because he voted for Donald Trump, even though he's anti-censorship and pro-free speech.
Ghostapo: The video "The Occult, Video 5: Nazi Occultism" is on the subject of Real Life Nazi Occultism.
Hippie Teacher: Subverted. While he looks like a hippie (long hair and a short goatee, round glasses, has taken drugs in the past, and has an interest in occultism and esotericism), and his style is quite academic, politically he's a libertarian.
Hollow Earth: Has made a video covering both this and the flat earth.
Hollywood Satanism: Averted. Styx himself is a former Satanist, and has made many videos explaining actual Satanism, and debunking common misconceptions about the religion.
Hermetic Magic: Styx has edited the works of Hermes Trismegistus, and released them in his own edition.
Know-Nothing Know-It-All: "The Occult Video 127: Beware the Fluff Bunnies" Covers "Fluff Bunnies", religious individuals both in and outside of the occult, who claim to be deeply knowledgeable on the subject, yet don't know anything about what they're talking about, and often trick people into believing various untruths relating to the occult.
Memetic Mutation: In his videos on the subject of "meme magick" and "occult synchronicity", Styx explains how this phenomenon combined with Hilarious in Hindsight feeds into the occult.
- *Spoon Clank*. This meme exists because Styx is often shown drinking black coffee in his videos (with the spoon still in the mug), and the spoon clanks as he lifts up the mug and drinks from it.
- "I want a Styxhexenhammer plushie." --This is something frequently said by fans in Styx's comment section. Styx has acknowledged this meme, and personally finds it hilarious,thinking that the idea of a plush-toy of him is in and of itself amusing.
New Age Retro Hippie: Subverted. While Styx tends to look the part and hails from Vermont, home to a number of counterculture groups, he doesn't see himself as a hippie and has his own gripes with them. His political leanings are also decidedly libertarian.
Old Shame: Styx has once or twice brought up an old video he made about the Holocaust, where he said that he thought that Zyklon-B was a de-lousing agent, denouncing the claims that he made in that video.
POV Cam: His MRE videos are filmed from his perspective.
- Likewise with his gardening videos.
Our Devil Is Different: In "The Occult: Video 20: Satan Through The Ages", Styx talks about how varied portrayals of Satan have been throughout the centuries, ranging from Satan Is Good to The Devil Is a Loser.
Our Werewolves Are Different: The 152nd video in the "The Occult" series covers The Beast of Gevaudan, a large wolflike creature purported to have ravaged the countryside of Gevaudan, France for a brief period of time during the 1700's.
Running Gag: Styx hates The Great Gatsby.
- Styx claiming that Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook is an early-generation Synth.
- Styx referencing the *Spoon Clank* meme.
- Styx hates Jared Holt of Right Wing Watch .
Self-Deprecation: Styx's book "The Book of Styxhexenhammer" is primarily composed of this, combined with self-referential humour involving his YouTube channel.
Smart People Wear Glasses: Styx wears a pair of round glasses.
Science Is Bad: Subverted. Styx states in "The Occult 132: The Liberty of Paganism, the Slavery of Abrahamism" that science is a good thing, but that science followed mindlessly and used for ill purposes can be just as bad as religious fundamentalism.
Sea Monster: "The Occult: Video 7: Lake Monsters and Aquatic Cryptids" is about lake versions of this trope. He's mostly skeptical of people claiming to have seen lake monsters.
Shout Out: The 2nd video in his video series on the subject of the Occult is "Real Occultism in the Harry Potter Series", where he tackles occult phenomena referenced in the Harry Potter series.
- The 1st one is one on the subject of the Simon version of the Necronomicon.
- The 43rd is "Runescape Gods".
Sliding Scale of Libertarianism and Authoritarianism: He's on the libertarian end of the spectrum.
Straw Feminist: Subverted. While Styx has made several videos criticizing Radical Feminism, he is well aware that there are many moderate Feminists out there, and that the Radicals are merely a very vocal and insane minority within the movement.
Worthy Opponent: Similarly to Sargon, he makes an effort to subscribe to people whose views he disagrees with. Indeed, he and The Golden One (who's much further to the Right) have a mutual, cordial respect for one another despite disagreeing over socio-political views.
