So you're fighting the Quirky Miniboss Squad, a Boss in Mook Clothing, A Giant Enemy Crab, The Dragon, or perhaps the Big Bad himself. Unfortunately, they're shrugging off most of the blows you deliver to them normally or are otherwise hard to kill. What to do?

Simple. Find a weapon, Weak Spot or technique that can hit For Massive Damage.

This is often, but not always, a Video Game Trope.

These may be intentional or otherwise. In properly skilled hands, these may allow one to take on an Eldritch Abomination or even a God.

Should be used responsibly or bad things can happen.

Not to be confused with the specific trope that formerly went under this name, which is now Attack Its Weak Point.

Named for the infamous 2006 E3 Sony presentation.[context?] Some reference to the quote appears in every single game released since.
