Marty: Welcome aboard, Captain Smith, I'm Lieutenant Jasper, I'll be your XO. Bob: Um... is there any particular reason you're... well... naked?

Legostar Galactica is a science-fiction LEGO Photo Comic launched in August 2002 by Dusan M. Jeftinija, Ph.D., about the struggles of Captain Bob Smith, who had recently been transferred to the notorious starship Muffin due to an embarrassment to the military on his part. Initially dealing with his zany crew, Captain Bob has to go to great lengths to keep the ship together, but then it goes to hell when the Sith start targeting the Muffin because of his second-in-command Jasper's ties and those of the ship doctor, Reines to the Jedi council.

As the name may imply, the comic parodies science fiction movies, TV shows and novels, especially Star Trek, Star Wars, Doctor Who, Battlestar Galactica and Heroes. Its level of parody shifts between Affectionate Parody and pure satire (the "Legoes" arc comes to mind).

Legostar Galactica is part of the Brick Comic Network.

• Ancient Conspiracy: Darth Creepius and his origin story.
• Author Avatar
• Big Bad: Darth Creepius, at the moment.Not any more since he is trap in a black hole.

• Bait and Switch Tyrant: Lt. Pascal. She becomes a little nicer after the crew find out she's half-Nythrian.
• Casanova Wannabe: Johnny Danger
• Canon Immigrant: All the characters originally from Star Wars.
• Cluster F-Bomb: Everything 4675636B says, right from his introduction.
• Cerebus Syndrome: Slowly but surely.
• Command Roster: As expected from a starship soap opera.
• Double Agent: Marty. He never really joined the Sith; he was just setting them up.
• Dysfunction Junction: The Muffin.
• Evil Twin: Rob, who is also a clone. AKA Darth Pester
• Fandom Rivalry: In-Universe Parody: in a story arc where the characters visit a Harry Potter-themed planet and discover that the Harry Potter fans are at war with The Lord of the Rings fans. The crew is expelled for being science fiction.
  • Shipping is parodied as well when the crew ends up in a homoerotic bathhouse while trying to escape the Harry Potter fans with Harry and Ron.

• Groin Kick: Johnny gets this from every girl he flirts with.
• Heel Face Turn: Darth Angrius
  • Heel Face Revolving Door: He joined the Sith again .
  • Face Heel Turn: Marty, until you find out that all along he was really a double agent.
• Hypothetical Casting: The comic (and particularly its wiki) occasionally includes information on who is playing the various (Lego) characters. One of them is played by Scott Bakula, apparently.
• The Joker: Makes a cameo as a member of the band 'Rogue's Gallery'. The other band members don't feel safer giving him anything bigger than a kazoo.
• The Kirk: Captain Bob, initially. Lately he's been more of a Butt Monkey.
  • Kirk Summation: Delivered by Captain Bob to virtually every villain that attacks the Muffin, to varying degrees of success.
• Kick the Dog: This comic does it literally.
• Kirk's Rock: As you would expect from a Star Trek parody.
• Mad Scientist: The Brain, who is incidentally a Brain In a Jar. A very insane brain. Played for Laughs.
• Massive Multiplayer Crossover: It's mainly a Star Trek parody, but elements from countless other major sci-fi series are featured.
• Meaningful Name: The Sith lords' names, Johnny Danger, Red Shirt.
• Mohs Scale of Sci Fi Hardness: Pretty soft.
• The Mole: Darth Pestilous, Princess Natalie..
• Motor Mouth: Ensign Skip Tyler
• Naked on Arrival: Marty, as the crew never lets him forget.
• No Indoor Voice: Shown here.
• Noodle Incident: Parodied and lampshaded. everybody refers to Captain Bob's dismissal as the "Macaroni Incident."
• The Omniscient Council of Vagueness: The Dark Council until they were revealed and later the Jedi Council
• The Plan: One of Darth Creepius's has come to fruition, namely by eliminating the Jedi as a threat and using an ancient lightsaber of great power to massacre the Dark Council and create a new order.
• Pre-Ass-Kicking One-Liner: This strip's full of 'em/
• Precision F-Strike: Can go several "episodes" without using any profanity stronger than "crap" before using words like "Fuck" and "Shit" every once in a while for effect.
• Red Shirt: Parodied with the character named "Red Shirt," who dies in most of his appearances only to come back to life or be healed. This is attributed both to a family lineage of being incredibly prone to die and the fact he wears a red shirt, which is the cause of "Red Shirt Syndrome," as it's called in-universe.
• Ragtag Bunch of Misfits: The crew of the Muffin.
• Rouge Angles Of Satin: Unclear if it is intentional or not, but during the "Legos" arcs (the "Heros" parody, a character regularly mentions using "heroine" instead of "heroin."
• Running Gag: Loads - Marty's nakedness (not so much anymore), Red's deaths, Cunningham's phobias, TAG's embarassing head colors, Johnny's crotch getting kicked, Jar Jar getting shot...
• Schedule Slip: Completely and blessedly averted. This is a daily comic, but the author has a buffer over 1 year in length set up.
• Single Biome Planet: All the planets the crew visits.
• Space Pirates
• Take That: Numerous, including a one to George Lucas by casting him as a member of the Dark Council.
• They Killed Kenny: Red Shirt usually gets killed whenever he shows up in an episode. It's a Running Gag in the story.
• There Are No Therapists: At first lampshaded and then averted by having high command introduce a ship therapist to deal with the crew's neuroses, but then subverted when the therapist turns out to be pretty crazy herself and not a help to anyone.
• Token Minority: In this case, a token alien, which is lampshaded by naming him "Token Alien Guy."
• Took a Level In Badass: Reines when it is revealed that she is a Jedi and Jasper when he supposedly becomes a Sith LordSeriously nobody mentions red shirt he goes from *Redshirt* to badass although he still get comically injured all the time but still helping take down the current big bad something one of the most powerful jedi cant do dose disserve him being put on here .
• Twist Ending: The Legoes arc, much to the surprise of everyone who had gotten bored of it.
• We Can Rebuild Him: Done here.
• The Watcher: The omniscient being called ";" (his name is unpronounceable in our inferior alphabet), or at least he claims to be. He is also an Energy Being with a physical avatar.
• What Measure Is a Non-Human?: Played straight and lampshaded.
• Wrench Wench: Shauna is the ship's engineer, and can make a hyperdrive out of a toaster.
