Oh You Sure Showed Me!

• The title star of Disney's Aladdin -- the character was completely re-designed in early development because the old model didn't have enough appeal to women.
• Prince Naveen of The Princess and the Frog, big time. One of the few Disney princes with a liveliness and personality (not to mention a strong Really Gets Around implication), ridiculously attractive in all his Ambiguously Brown glory, with an equally indeterminate yet sexy accent, all resulting in a consensus that he is the sexiest of the Disney Princes.
  • According to the commentary, Naveen took some time to find the perfect voice actor. After reaching three possible candidates, they brought in their female staff to listen to each actor. Bruno Campos had the biggest "swoon" factor.
• Shang in Mulan gets a shirtless musical number. Discuss. It's even Lampshaded by Yao:

Yao: I'll get that arrow, pretty boy, and I'll do it with my shirt on.

• • "Uh oh, looks like Mulan has the hots for the one hot guy in the movie."
• Definetly Tarzan. Explanation: he wears a shirt once in the whole film and then he rips it off. Doubles as Innocent Fanservice Girl (well, innocent manly man) because he was brought up to live with little clothing.
• Dimitri in Anastasia, boy howdy! A handsome con artist Jerk with a Heart of Gold with loads of spark and personality, not to mention he appears to be drawn with quite a package. Strangely, Word of God says they tried to draw him as being not-so-handsome by giving him a slightly crooked nose. They have failed.
  • And voiced by John Cusack.
  • One of the voice actresses referenced this. The gist of her words were, "He looked too dashing, so the animators broke his nose a little -- and then he ended up dead sexy instead."
• Tangled: Flynn Rider has gotten many fangirls just from the trailer(s) alone. This isn't surprising, considering the directors gathered up every female animating for Disney, tacked pictures of celebrities and princes to the wall, had them analyze which specific features were the most attractive, and created Flynn from that.
  • It was called, I kid you not, "The Hot Man Meeting."
• Jim in Treasure Planet.
• Jack Skellington in The Nightmare Before Christmas.
• Caleb in WITCH, receives a Shirtless Scene in the episode "The Underwater Mines".
• Ulrich Stern of Code Lyoko. Let's see...several Shirtless Scenes, Troubled but Cute, Big Man on Campus without even trying, at least 2 Modesty Towel scenes, Sensual Spandex Lyoko form in Season 4, Tall, Dark and Snarky...it really is no wonder he's a total Chick Magnet in universe and out.
• Kevin from Ben 10 Alien Force. His clothes tend to get torn and tattered in fights.
• Stork from Storm Hawks appears in his underwear, in a towel, cross-dressed as a woman, and nude in Season 2.
• Mortal Kombat: Defenders of the Realm. Admit it, at least one of you must have drooled at pretty Asian shirtless Liu Kang.
• Henry on The Amazing Chan and The Chan Clan, in a way. He's dressed very conservatively (except in the comic version of episode 3), but his pants are rather tight and he's drawn as being the "hunk" of the boys. Plus there's his voice.
• Avatar: The Last Airbender has Prince Zuko. Though he may not have been intended as such at first, the creators quickly caught on and lampshaded the hell out of his Mr. Fanservice status in the second and third seasons.
  • The Legend of Korra has Mako, who, unlike Zuko, seems completely intended as one from the beginning, as he's actually had more outfit changes than Korra and his scenes normally include a lot of unnecessary panning and posturing. Even the creators, his bio on the Nick website and his voice actor make it a point to mention that Mako is good-looking.
  • His brother, Bolin is this both in-universe and among the fanbase.
• Braeburn from My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic seems to be an unintentional example of this, although you wouldn't know it from the prominence of his Estrogen Brigade within the pony fandom. Between him and Big Macintosh, the Apple family seems to be one of Equestria's few sources of good looking (by pony standards) eligible bachelors with speaking roles.
  • The other source would be the royal family, although Prince Blueblood's personality has made him a lot less popular than his aunts. He is in many ways a Bait and Switch subversion of this trope.
  • And now we have Flim and Flam. Gorgeous singing voices, lovely speaking voices, charming personalities until they start acting like douchebags to the apples, that is, pretty boy (Flim and, to an extent, Flam), gorgeous manes (even if they look like bacon), a tendency to be rather well dressed, bright and shining eyes … they honestly have a rather large fanbase, not as big as any other example for the show; but there are still plenty of fans fawning over them. And though not everyone agrees, they're a hint adorkable as well. Must be the bowties or something.
  • Shining Armor from the second season finale has been getting his share of female admirers lately. Too bad the finale is about his Wedding Day.
• Lance from Sym-Bionic Titan.
• Jack himself in Samurai Jack mix badass with a gentle soft spoken nature toward his allies, a protective--almost parental--personality toward the weak, add a good dollop of Japanese Politeness and sprinkle with copious amounts of Shirtless Scenes, and this is what you get.
• Chat up the female Galaxy Rangers fanbase; all three of the male leads have fangirl-attracting qualities. Take your pick:
  • The green-eyed, blond Troubled but Cute young man with a dark past, but a compassionate streak regardless?
  • The Billy Dee Williams look-alike with a doctorate, charm school education and wicked sense of humor?
  • The Captain? Loyal, honest, soft-spoken Officer and a Gentleman who looks damn good for being half-cyberware.
• Red Arrow, a reoccuring character on Young Justice, was transformed from Green Arrow's hat-with-feather-wearing sidekick in the first episode to a sexy solitary superhero with a uniform that shows off his fantastic arms and even wearing an even more fantastic suit for the majority of episode 10.
  • Superboy is a much straighter example. Show events go out of their way to make sure he loses his shirt somehow,and he plays up many different fanservice tropes.
