F.A.N.G. - Unknown

"Two minutes! I'll finish you in two minutes!"

Voiced by: Jesse Merlin (English) and Shigeru Chiba (JPN)

Real name unknown. Origins unknown too, though he might be Chinese-Thai. During the events of Street Fighter V he is, after M. Bison, the highest ranking member of Shadaloo. In a departure from previous Shadaloo henchmen he is research focused, conducting experiments for Shadaloo.

  • Beard of Evil: A Fu Manchu-like one.
  • Beware the Silly Ones: He may be cooky and walk like some silly duck, but underneath the weird exterior there's a ruthless and cruel man who should never be underestimated.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: He was raised as an assassin since infancy by a Thai cartel known as the Nguuhao, which was in cahoots with Shadaloo. They tried a coup on Bison, but he easily destroyed them all save for FANG himself. He kept fighting on no matter what, and his tenacity impressed Bison enough to let him live and then make him one of the Four Kings.
  • Cool Shades: A nice pair of Lennon Specs.
  • I'm a Humanitarian: To make things simple, he kills a person in Story Mode (Rashid's Hackette friend) and licks a part of the remains afterwards.
  • The Dragon: Unknown how he scales with Balrog or Vega but his bio seems to suggest this.
  • Mad Scientist: Hoooooly shit, he's fucking evil and fucking For Science!
  • No Name Given: The nearest thing he have to a real name is the nickname "Fang of the Nguuhao".
  • Poison Is Evil: Is the first character to use poison in his moveset in this series and is undoubtedly one of the most despicable.
  • Silly Walk: Walks around flipping his arms like a bird.
  • The Triads and the Tongs: Nguuhao, though the actual country isn't mentioned, seems to be pretty much this.
  • Tyke Bomb: Was trained since he was a child to serve an asian criminal syndicate, that later allied with Shadaloo.
  • Undying Loyalty: He is very loyal to Bison because he spared his life in the past.

Laura Matsuda - Brazil

"Boom! That's how you start a fight and finish it quickly!"

Voiced by: GK Bowes (English) and Yoko Hikasa (Japanese)

The older sister of Sean Matsuda, Laura is the heir to the family's Matsuda Jiu-Jitsu martial arts after Sean decides to become the apprentice to Ken Masters. She seeks strong opponents to both fight and promote her fighting style.

Necalli - Unknown

"Devour-our-our."

Voiced by: Mark Swind (English) and Takashi Matsuyama (Japanese)

A violent and feral individual, Necalli's motives and story are completely unknown. He claims to be an 'Emissary of the Gods' and likes the souls of strong people, whatever that entails.

  • Braids of Barbarism: Taken Up to Eleven when activating his V-Trigger.
  • Chaotic Evil: From his image, title and his moniker 'The Soul Consuming Darkness' he does come off as this.
  • Humanoid Abomination: He's some kind of god or god-like entity that comes to Earth in times of crisis to eat the souls of warriors.
  • Lone Wolf Boss: Has nothing to do with Bison or Shadaloo more than anyone else who Necalli would call "strong", and someone who Necalli desires to "devour", though Bison's actions are the reason behind his awakening.
  • Rapunzel Hair: That only seems to be hair. Necalli is apparently made of some kind of supernatural mud.
  • Shapeshifter Baggage: Mud moves around his sheep body to transform him into his human body in Charlie's dream in the story mode.
  • Tribal Face Paint
  • Verbal Tic: As seen from his quote he has a stutter.
  • Villain Protagonist: In his story mode, obviously.
  • Voluntary Shapeshifting: He appears on Charlie's dreams as a sheep, that slowly transforms into his humanoid form.
  • Your Soul Is Mine: Type Two. He needs them to satisfy his un-human hunger.

Rashid - Middle East

"I'm Rashid of the Turbulent Wind! Remember the name well!"

Voiced by: Ian Sinclair (English), Tarusuke Shingaki (Japanese)

A young man from a rich Middle Eastern family, the freespirited Rashid travels the world with his butler Azam to find a missing friend, a Hackette who has been kidnapped by Shadaloo. He fights using a unique style of Parkor and can manipulate wind.

  • Anime Hair: His beard is just...impractical.
  • Badass Beard: His facial hair still makes him look rather cool.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: He may be nice and cheerful, but that doesn't mean he will anyone walk all over him or anything. When he finds out about his poor friend's death from her murderer (F.A.N.G.), he is completely and absolutely pissed off.
  • Blow You Away: Can manipulate wind, that reflects in his fighting style, full of flipping and swings. He even refers to himself as "Rashid of the Turbulent Winds", as said above.
  • Bunny Ears Lawyer: For all of his fighting skills and kind heart, he's pretty goofy and eccentric at times.
  • Chronic Hero Syndrome: Helps a little girl that was kidnapped by Shadaloo despite knowing how that can mess up his whole plan to rescue his friend in first place.
  • Expy: Having a name like Rashid and a scouter-like object on his head it's hard not to see parallels to Raditz.
  • Fashionable Asymmetry: His scouter-like device.
  • I Will Find You: His whole reason to travel and fight around is his desire to help his friend. Much to his dismay and sadness, towards the end he finds out that she's already been given a Cruel and Unusual Death by F.A.N.G..
  • Nice Guy: He's always smiling and ready to help anyone who needs it.
  • Princely Young Man: He's from a loaded family, and fits in well as a Nice Guy type.
  • Would Hit a Girl: One of his dislikes is "fighting women", but it doesn't mean he will avert fighting them if it's needed.

Kolin - Former USSR

"I didn't quite explain myself before. Let me just say that I utterly despise Bison... but there is another man more suitable to lead this world. That's why I want to destroy Shadaloo. Is that satisfactory?"

Voiced by: Cindy Robinson (English) and Romi Park (Japanese)

Under the name "Helen", this beautiful young woman of Russian origins became Charlie Nash's companion. In reality she is a member of a mysterious group and, under the orders of their leader (Gill from the Illuminati), she has a mission to follow.

  • An Ice Person: She can fight hand-to-hand well and complements it with these powers.
  • Ascended Extra: Kolin was actually seen as an NPC in Street Fighter III - more exactly, as Gill's right-hand woman.. Then she showed up again as an NPC in Charlie Nash's Story Mode and other scenes, and finally she became playable.
  • Badass Bookworm: If not fighting, she's seen reading a certain book. Which is the Prophecy of Miraha, the Illuminati's equivalent of the Bible in the SF world.
  • Berserk Button: First, no one shall mock or try to interfere in her and her leader's plans. Second, no member of any military shall appear before her. Anyone who presses either or both buttons can expect to be at the receiving end of her ice powers.
  • Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: As "Helen", she poses as a sweet and nurturing young lady. She is anything but that.
  • Broken Bird: Under her cold and ruthless exterior, Kolin is really fucking hurt and angry.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: The reasons for Kolin's Broken Bird-dom are the utter horrors that she witnessed and went through in her youth. It turns out her country was wiped away in a conflict that very much resembles the dissolution of the URSS and the horrifying wars that followed, especially in the Caucasus. Through these bitter days, the girl known as Kolin lost everything: her family, her friends, her army, her lands... She was rescued by Gill after she almost died in the snow, and from then on she serves under him..
  • Miss Fanservice: Especially due to her long legs.
  • Mysterious Woman: At the beginning, as "Helen". Her Story Mode reveals her origins, however.
  • Parts Unknown: She looks and dresses like a Russian woman, fights using a Russian martial art (Systema)... but WHERE exactly in the former Soviet Union is she from? Nobody knows for certain. Considering her Dark and Troubled Past, however, she's almost surely from a frozen conflict zone .
  • Undying Loyalty: To say she worships Gill like a god may be euphemism. It's a Justified Trope, since he took her in when she had lost everything.
