An actor (often actress for females) is a person who portrays a character in a performance. The actor performs "in the flesh" in the traditional medium of the theatre, or in modern mediums such as film, radio, and television.

While we are not trying to be IMDb (not all actors have their own page on All The Tropes), some actors get a lot of references in the discussion of tropes. Or are just plain notable.
