A H-game that was first released in 2000 and, a year later, turned into a well known Hentai anime. In 2002, it got a Prequel called Bible Black: Origins and two Sequels called Bible Black: New Testament and Bible Black: Only.
Taki Minase is your average japanese high-schooler. He lives with his older female cousin Yukiko and has to be woken up by force every day by Kurumi Imari, his childhood friend. They're both members of the school's art club. One day, he ends up finding a key to a locked basement on his high school when returning the art club key to the faculty staff room. Having heard sinisters rumours about said basement, Minase decides to take the key and check the place out of curiosity.
He ends up discovering an old book written in several foreign languages and, with help of his cousin, translates one of the book's spells. He tests it one of his classmates and works, making her masturbate in public without a bit of shame. Now very interested if the book works or if it was simply a coincidence, he puts a lot of effort to translate the book, which is written in a mix of latin, french, greek and hebraic, managing to translate several other spells. When he sees Murai, one of his classmates, having her wish for her crush to drop his girlfriend for her being refused by another of his classmates, Saeki, a girl that claims to have advanced abilities on magic, he offers himself to cast the spell Murai wants.
With that spell also suceeding, Minase suddenly has the idea to use the love spell for his own benefit. Should he go for the school idol, Rika Shiraki, or for his childhood friend that is always bossing around him, Imari?
One of the more famous H-series in the United States, Bible Black has a decent fan following. The series also gained a level of infamy for some of the more outrageous moments and the dark and disturbing material contained within. The character designs were done by Yoshiten, the same man who did the character designs for a series with a similar level of infamy.

It got a H-game sequel called Bible Black: The Infection, which was released in English on June 28th, 2011. Whether or not it will get a Hentai adaptation, is yet to be known.
According to Chris Beveridge of Anime on DVD a live action version is being made.[when?] (Which isn't saying much, as it wouldn't be the first hentai so adapted.)

Versions of this work circulated throughout Scandinavia and Central Europe. In Sweden and Finland these books are compiled and published under the titles, "Den Svarta Bibeln" and "Musta Raamattu", respectively, meaning "The Black Bible".

- Those who don't feel this way tend to view her as a Complete Monster. There's precious little in the way of middle ground on this issue.

- Bigger Is Better in Bed: Minase's penis is often described as being quite big by the girls he has sex with which makes you wonder why he needed that spellbook at all. Kitami is also this when she turns her clitoris into a penis.
- Black Magic: One of the key plot points.

- Saeki ends up just as evil as Kitami, involved in several rapes and eventually murder.
- Brainwashed and Crazy: Another of the important plot points with most of the characters falling victim to it at some point in both series.
- Shiraki gets it especially bad.
- Kitami employs this often, with help from her Love Potion.
- Break the Cutie:
- Ito Mika. The text description is particularly brutal, since It's the first spell Minase casts in the game, and what it causes her to do is absolutely horrifying. Even to Minase, who regrets it a touch. And the poor girl never really seems to recover from it.
- Brother-Sister Incest:
- Minase has full on sex with his stepsister Yukiko.
- But this happens only if Minase isn't working for Kitami; Minase and Yukiko are both drugged and forced into it.

- Broken Bird:
- Takashiro gets hit with this pretty bad.
- Poor Ito gets hit with this hard, too. First Minase's rather explicit choice in spells causes her to...perform some rather lewd acts in front of her entire class, then she gets put under mind control by Kitami.
- But Thou Must!: This game has one of these. After causing Ito's lewd performance, you're given the choice whether or not to use magic again. Regardless of the player's choice, Minase decides to use it anyways.
- There's more than just one, actually. The earliest is Minase ending up going to the art club meeting no matter how much you try to avoid it.
- Similarly, if you try to back out of supporting Kitami when she confronts you and reveals her secrets, Kitami will kill you in most routes.
- Caught with Your Pants Down: More like caught giving a Facial....and in front of your best friend who secretly has a crush on you to top it all off.
- While this is shown in the anime, in the game specifically, this only happens if you choose Shiraki instead of Imari and are taking an evil road. If you choose Imari, you drug the poor girl for use in Kitami's ceremony.
- Chuck Cunningham Syndrome: Although Minase helps her win the affections of a boy she likes, Murai is never seen or heard from for the rest of the series. Wonder how things are going with her & Asada?
- Deal with the Devil: The major plot revolves around her trying to cheat the Devil so she can keep living. Canonically, it failed, according to the sequel game, though multiple endings means it can fail or work depending on your particular playthrough.
- Death by Sex: Certain endings in the game have this happen to the player. Takashiro comes close to it in the storylines where the player's working with Kitami.
- Depraved Bisexual: Kitami at the start. Most of the cast when they come under Kitami's sway.
- Dude She's Like In A Coma: One of evil options in the game is visiting an unconscious Mika Ito in the nurse's office.
- It's not the visitation that's the evil choice. (In fact, you have to visit her, if you don't want a bad end later on.) But your options when you're there...
- Even the Girls Want Her: Kitami, though being able to grow a dick helps.
- Everybody Wants the Hermaphrodite: No girl stays indifferent to Kitami's monster dong.

- I hate to bring up logic in a Hentai series discussion, but how can he have a boner while he's in the middle of bleeding out? Blood is kind of required to keep it up.
