Norbert has decided to grow his teeth long. Despite Dag's protests that growing teeth out is fatal to beavers, Norb ignores him, is declared "cool" by the other forest animals, and "growing teeth" out becomes a fad. Daggett, just wanting to be considered cool too, grows his teeth out too.

Tropes featured in this episode:

  • Early-Bird Cameo: A female beaver shows up at one point and asks to "touch" Norb's long teeth. It's clearly an early version of "Treeflower", right down to the same voice actress, Cynthia Mann.
  • Fridge Logic: Norb grew his teeth way before Dag did. So why do Dag's teeth start going out of control before Norb's do? Also, why does Dag need to tie his teeth in place, but Norb doesn't need to?
  • Getting Crap Past the Radar: One can't help but see "long teeth" on beavers as a metaphor for, ahem, long manhoods for men. The girl beaver getting turned on by Norb's long teeth kind of solidifies it.
  • Left Hanging: Dag and Norb are literally left hanging in a tree. Their unruly teeth stuck in the branches. Their "friends" refuse to help them since long teeth is not cool anymore. Dag and Norb remain stuck in the tree the rest of the episode.
  • Oh Crap: When the Beavers' teeth start getting out of control.
  • Pimp Duds: Dag and Norb are seen briefly wearing these, in an attempt to "out-cool" each other.
  • Shout-Out: The snake in the episode appears to be based on Forrest Gump.
