Marie D. Suesse And The Mystery New Pirate Age! is an on-going One Piece fanfic Deconstruction Fic by Phalanx

Self-described as "A very different take on the typical OC-falls-into-OP story, deconstructed with a macabre twist".

The story follows the titular character's adventures after falling into the One Piece world. It also manages to subvert the Self Insert story right at the beginning by bringing Mar's parents along for the ride and having her end up alone on the Straw-Hat's deserted ship.

What ensues is a darkly humorous story that deconstructs the hell out of almost every fanfic cliche, all the while building a suspenseful mystery over the fate of the Straw-Hats.

Some parts can be quite disturbing.
