Xros Heart
Akari Hinomoto
Daughter of the original founder of Xros Heart. Shares the Red Xros Loader with Shoutmon. Akari was born in the Digital world and has all of the same attacks and abilities as Shoutmon.
- Fusion Dance: With Lopmon into Turuiemon Xros Two. And then can "Time Burst/Cho Shinka" Into DeltAntylamon from there.
- Improbable Weapon User: Like Shoutmon, the Microphone stand.
- Official Couple: With Shoutmon.
- The Power of Rock: With Shoutmon, as they share the same Music based attacks.
Shoutmon
Shares the Red Xros Loader with Akari. Claims to be the future King of the Digital World.
- Badass
- Golden Super Mode: Can turn into OmegaShoutmon thanks to a mysterious necklace.
- Improbable Weapon User: Like Akari, the Microphone stand.
- Scarf of Asskicking: Xros Four mysteriously gains a yellow scarf in the battle against Blastmon. It sticks through the entire battle, and even turns red when Xros Five Knight Burst Mode is formed.
- Idiot Hero: He had no clue that he was even wearing the thing during the entire fight, and just thought Blastmon was being his usual self when he had commented on it during the fight.
- Invoked Trope: Shoutmon gets a scarf in the Human world.
- Official Couple: With Akari.
- Pint-Sized Powerhouse: Even un-xrossed, Shoutmon is a force to be reckoned with. He trains with Beelzebmon by strapping a boulder to his back while trying to dodge ten energy blasts.
- The Power of Rock: with Akari, as they share the same Music based attacks.
- Serial Escalation: Xros Five Knight Burst Mode and SUPER GALAXY COMBINATION: Gurren Lagann: XROS FIVE!
Taiki Kudo
Holds the Orange Xros Loader, and is partnered to Dorulumon and Host to the Denizen Hephaestus, who created the Xros Loaders.
- Badass Abnormal: Once he and Hephaestus became aware of each other, Taiki was able to use Hephaestus' creative powers to create weapons of various forms.
- Chronic Hero Syndrome: His "Can't turn my back on anyone" personality, stemming from the Goggles he wears.
- Fusion Dance: He can Digi-Xros with Dorulumon to become the Dorulu-Cannon.
- Gray Eyes: Like in the anime. They turn red when Hephaestus talks.
- Goggles Do Nothing: Taiki's Goggles come from a boy he didn't help as a child. He wears them to remind himself about that day and vows to never turn his back on anyone ever again.
- Red Eyes, Take Warning: Played with.
- You ALL Share My Story: With Kiriha, Nene, Yuu, and Sparrowmon, oddly enough.
Dorulumon
Partner to Taiki. A Former Employee of the Bagura Empire, under Tactimon's banner. He turned away when Tactimon ordered the destruction of land that still had their troops on it.
- Fusion Dance: He can Digi-Xros with Taiki to become the Dorulu-Cannon, and with Ballistamon Xros Two into Shoutmon Xros Three.
- Papa Wolf
Lopmon/Kaiyumi
A Lopmon who has been friends with Akari and Shoutmon for an undisclosed amount of time.
- Fusion Dance: With Akari into Turuiemon Xros Two
- Wrench Wench: Maintains the Xros Loaders. Usually.
Cutemon/Simon
- Cute Bruiser: Cutemon's training under Dorulumon has give him the ability to Punch out enemies.
- Fusion Dance: With Shoutmon Xros Five into Gurren Lagann Xros Five!
- Shout-Out: To Gurren Lagann with his Spiral based powers, and his Given name, Simon.
- Up to Eleven: The Premier Digi-Xros of chapter 28 is Xros Five plus Cutemon.
Zenjirou Tsurugi
A Classmate and "Rival" of Taiki's who gets pulled into the Digital World with him. Holder of the Dark-Green Xros Loader, and partnered to Kotemon.
- The Artifact: begins as this due to the initial Alternate Universe shift.
- Took a Level In Badass: in Shinobi Zone.
Kotemon
A former Bagura General whom Zenjirou Purified in Shinobi Zone.
- Defeat Means Friendship: But only after he helps Xros Heart defeat his former rival in the Bagura Army, Matadormon.
- Redemption Promotion: Regains his former form of Musyamon in the human world with Zenjirou unlocking it with his upgraded Xros Loader.
The Starmonz Brigade
A team of Pickmons lead by Starmon.
- An Axe to Grind: The rarely used Star-Ax.
- Asteroids Monster
- Cool Shades: Starmon and the Silver Pickmons.
- Chainsaw Good: The Delta Rare Star Sword has a Chainsaw mode.
- Running Gag: The Red Pickmon has something against Birds, and comments on it every chance he gets.
- He also shouts out random things when Digi-Xrossing, typically ShoutOuts to other shows or movies.
Hangyomon
A former Bagura foot solider who joined Xros Heart after arriving in Island Zone.
- It Runs in The Family: Tactimon implies that Hangyomon's father is a deserter when they first meet in Magma Zone.
- Mook Face Turn: In Island Zone
Revolomon
A friend of Ballistamon who seems to be the only one able to get him to talk more frequently.
Ballistamon:
A random digimon that just appeared in the middle of a battle, just as lost as anyone else was at that point.
- The Quiet One: He doesn't say much beyond what's necessary.
- Verbal Tic: N'gah!
Lake Zone recruits:
Knightmon, the Pawn-Chessmons, and the younger Princess Bastemon joined under orders from the elder Princess Bastemon.
- Catgirl: both Bastemon's.
- Cats Are Mean: Chibi-Bastemon is fond of Pounce-greeting certain people.
- Chess Motif: The Pawn-Chessmons.
- Everything's Better with Princesses: Chibi-Bastemon tags along as part of her Princess training.
- Shout-Out: Two of the Pawn-Chessmon share themes and names with MS Paint Adventures characters.
- Verbal Tic: "KNIGHTO!" and "PAWN!"
The Music Team:
Featuring: Dondokomon (A Living drum), one of the Pawn-Chessmon (On Flute), and A band of four Pucchiemon (Named Jade, Rose, Haruhi, and Kyon as ShoutOuts to Homestuck and Haruhi Suzumiya respectively).
- Crowning Music of Awesome: They wrote both inserts for Xros Four B and Xros Five in story. Supposedly, they do every insert song from that point on.
- Theme Music Power-Up: Dondokomon's special power.
Shinobi Zone Recruits:
Three Monitamon wearing rust red Armor (named Aradia, Eridan, and Sollux respectively), A Wizardmon, and a Tailmon whose human name is Tairru Yagami.
- Technicolor Ninjas: Red means Trainee.
Chibi-Kamemon
An Island Zone native who tags along with Xros Heart. Chibi-Bastemon has turned her attention towards him and away from the Problem Sleuth-Chessmon.
Yuu Amano
Younger brother to Nene and Kotone. Holds a Yellow Xros Loader with white trim. Partner to the Starmonz Brigade, Who can Digi-Xros and Cho-Shinka into CascadeStarmon. Went to the Digital World to help Taiki bring back his sisters.

Marcus Damon
A man who saved his own Digital World and Earth at one point in time and space and joined a organization designed to protect other dimensions and universes. Partner to Agumon, used to hold a Black and orange Data Link Burst Digivice, which later evolved into a translucent Crimson Xros Loader.
- Demoted to Extra: And knows it too.
- Fan Boy: Of Portal 2.
Agumon
Marcus' Digimon Partner; he has a fondness for Fried Eggs.

Blue Flare

General of Blue Flare, holder of the Blue Xros Loader. Partnered to Gureimon. Host to the Denizen Typheus.
- Break the Cutie: being put through the ringer as of Death Generals.
- You ALL Share My Story: With Taiki, Nene, Yuu, and Sparrowmon, oddly enough.
Gureimon
A digimon who is rather...unusual, Partners with Kiriha.
- Fusion Dance: Can Digi-Xros With MailBirdramon into MetalGureimon, With Dorulumon and Ballistamon into RampageGureimon and with Deckerdramon into DeckerGureimon
- Golden Super Mode: MetalGureimon can "Time Burst/Cho Shinka" into ZekeGureimon.
- Spell My Name with an "S": The author spells the name as it would be pronounced literally in Japanese instead of how it would be spelled in English for no discernible reason.

Twilight
Nene Amano
The Former General of Twilight who holds the Black Now Lavender Xros Loader, partner to Sparrowmon, and is the host to the Denizen Echidna.
- Action Girl: Isn't above joining in the battles after the Time Skip, in which she has more fluid control over Echidna's powers, where as before she had none.
- Big Sister Instinct: She's gone through hell just to find her twin sister Kotone again, who was right under her own secret base for who knows how long.
- Cosplay Otaku Girl: In the second arc, and has even gotten an Unwilling Akari into the act on one occasion (on her own Plan no less).
- So far has worn, in Seven Swords/Death Generals: The Love Love Dance costume, a "Midorizamon" costume, and a Lady-Devimon outfit. The author has drawn up a page showing all possible costumes she could wear, just so he can keep them straight when writing.
- Magic Skirt: Most likely due to Echidna's powers.
- Miss Exposition: In Green Zone.
- Ninja: Along with the Monitamon.
- Stripperific: Her "Shademon" Costume, along with the "Love Love Dance" outfit and the potential Luminamon appearance.
- Took a Level In Badass: After being stabbed in the chest by a Shade-Ignitemon, Nene rises through the powers of a mysterious clock and the dream world they were currently in to come into full control of Echidna's powers. Echinda also is now on an even playing field with the other Denizens and can talk when Nene is awake.

Sparrowmon/Sally Sparrow
A Human who was transformed into a Digimon by a Mad Scientist.
- Badass Longcoat: Durring the Code Crown hunt.
- But Not Too Foreign: She's American, but knows Japanese. Most likely learned from her parents.
- Dual-Wielding: Two Nine Milimeter handguns.
- I Hate Future Me: When she realizes that she has to set herself up in the past through a future Stable Time Loop to be a Whole-Plot Reference to the Doctor Who episode 'Blink.'
- Important Haircut: It's not mentioned in story, and it's fairly subtle, but the author shows a slight haircut in this progression picture.
- Feet First Introduction: In Island Zone.
- Goggles Do Nothing: Even less than Taiki. They're SWIMMING GOGGLES. Ditched in her Second arc clothing.
- Hover Board: She uses her wings as these in her human form.
- You ALL Share My Story: With Kiriha, Nene, Yuu, and Taiki, oddly enough.

- Technicolor Ninjas: Green means Elite.
Duskmon/Koichi
A Duskmon who works for DarkKnightmon. Like Sparrowmon, he was turned into a Digimon in the lab in Heaven Zone.
Ranamon/Mizuya
A Ranamon who works for DarkKnightmon. Like Sparrowmon, she was turned into a Digimon in the lab in Heaven Zone.
DeadlyAxmon[1]/Corone
A Digimon/Human that SkullKnightmon possessed to turn into DarkKnightmon
- An Axe to Grind: With SkullKnightmon. She does not know to deal with the spinning.
- Berserk Button: Do NOT Call her or anyone else an Insect/Bug if you wish to survive the day.
- Cloudcuckoolander: Has her moments.
- Drop the Hammer / Sinister Scythe: She can turn into a hammer/Scythe hybrid weapon as of Honey Land's second chapter.
- Secret Secret Keeper: Played with: Corone is descended from the weapon type Digimon race that DarkKnightmon was trying to recreate. She had no clue she was one until she subconsciously transformed into her weapon form in Honey Land.
- Ship Tease: With Yuu.
SkullKnightmon
Apparently a Ghost/Shadow Digimon who needs to possess a host inorder to create his "True" form of DarkKnightmon
- Aristocrats Are Evil
- Complete Monster / Chivalrous Pervert: It's implied initially that he wanted Nene to chose a "mate" on her own so he could forward his plans. He is willing to resort to possession to force his plans forward.
- Killed Off for Real: At the end of Dust Zone's arc. He ends up getting eaten by a Machinedramon that then Digi-Xrosses with a Chimeramon into Milleniumnmon. Who is then One hit Killed by our Heroes... for all the good it actually did.
The Bagura Empire
Tactimon
The most prominent of the Three Generals, and Lilithmon's Moirail. It's later revealed that he's a time-traveler from the future, come to get Xros Heart put into a position able to better stop whatever's causing time to die.
- Batman Gambit: He rose through the Empire's ranks along with Lilithmon and Blastmon just so he could deliver a warning about the future to come.
- BFS: His sword, The Jatetsufuujinmaru (Sealed Iron Serpent God).
- Unlike the anime, it gets unsealed in the Tokyo battle.
- The Slow Path: Decided to take the 20 year difference to ensure the timeline remained straight over taking the shortcut to the future along with Akari's parents.
Lilithmon
The second of the Three Generals, Tactimon's Moirail.
- Evil Is Sexy
- The Slow Path: A time traveler as well, apparently knew Akari's mother well.
Blastmon
The Third of the Three Generals.

Baguramon
The Emperor and leader of the Bagura Empire. He commands a vast army of Digimon along with the three generals.
- Decoy Antagonist: Has traces of this, with his Brother, DarkKnightmon, actually providing a more sizable threat to the world through the story so far.
