This page needs some cleaning up to be presentable. These should be identified in "tropenamer" sections on the relevant work pages instead of being listed here. |
Some tropes get their names from series that were born on the Internet. The Web may still be somewhat young, but that doesn't necessarily mean the tropes are.
- 8-Bit Theater
- Dumbass Has a Point
- Healing Shiv
- I Like Swords
- Welcome to Corneria (leads to the above)
- Darths and Droids
- Summon Bigger Fish (based on a gag that references Star Wars' Always a Bigger Fish scene)
- Overdrive (name from The Rant, but there's example in the comic as well)
- Dork Tower
- Irregular Webcomic
- Dying Race (suggestion via The Rant)
- In the Original Klingon (probably, consider that the YKTTW for the trope is probably in response to comments in The Rant)
- Mezzacotta and subprojects
- Walkyverse
- Batman Can Breathe in Space
- Perverse Sexual Lust (from the forum)
