Kuroinu Kedakaki Seijo wa Hakudaku ni Somaru or Kuroinu for short, is one of the most popular hentai in recent years,^[when?] composed of four OVAs based off a visual novel created by Liquid. Abusive Parent: Grave Levantine, towards both his biological son, Klaus, and his daughter-in-law, Claudia, who he actually raised as if she was his own daughter. Grave desired a worthy heir to carry on his family name. However, he deemed his son to be an Inadequate Inheritor and lost interest in him. He instead focused more on training his student, Claudia, to be holy knight, hoping that when she and Klaus marry, that they would be able to produce a child that while grow up to be a powerful warrior. Unfortunately, Claudia and Klaus were not able to produce any children, despite being married for some. Fearing that his bloodline will end with him and Klaus, he joins Kuroinu Mercenaries so that he can personally rape and impregnate his daughter-in-law without repercussions, all the while doing it in front of the captured Klaus.
Adaptational Badass: Chloe in the Manga, as she was able to kill a large Mook that was raping Olga in Chapter 7, if only because she wanted to violate the queen herself.
Adaptational Villainy: In the manga version, Prim willingly joined the Kuroinu Mercenaries in exchanged for the right to violate Alicia, as opposed to being forced to be a mind broken Sex Slave like most of the other princesses. Prim underwent a ritual that temporary turned her into a Hermaphrodite. She later violated the nuns of her kingdom as "practice", before drugging and raping Alicia herself, with the intent to impregnate her.
All Men Are Perverts: So how did Vault convince Olga's monsters, and several of the Kingdoms' politicians, sorcerers, and warriors to join his cause? Basically with the promise that they can have sex with any woman they capture.
All Women Are Prudes: Out of the 9 main female characters, six of them are virgins at the beginning of the series, including Queen Olga and Celestine, both of whom are centuries old. Even if we look at the characters weren't virgin, Chloe lost her virginity since she was forced to a Sex Slave since childhood before being save by Olga, Claudia was Happily Married, and Maia mentioned she hadn't had sex in a long time before her capture.

Expy: As many fans have pointed out, majority of the characters seem to be based on the characters from Berserk and Queen's Blade, examples include:
- Vault appearance seems to be based on Guts, the main protagonist of Berserk, but with Griffith's personality.
- Olga is basically a Composite Character of Queen's Blade's Welveria the Swamp Witch and Echidna. In terms of physical appearance, she is the spitting image of Unchou Kan-u from Ikki Tousen.
- Chloe seems to be based off of Irma, both have dark skin and serve as the right-hand woman to a queen. The fact that she is half-elf brings Nowa to mind.
- Alicia bears a strong resemblance to Elina, while her role as a commander and bodyguard for her (non-traditional) little sister is apparently based on Claudette.
- Maia seems to a composite of Risty and, once again, Irma. She also seems to take inspiration from Berserk's Casca due to her past history with Vault and the Kuroinu mercenaries.
- Luu Luu is pretty much Ymir. Both have curly hair, belong to a child-looking species, and use an axe as a weapon.
- Kaguya appears to be based on Tomoe, in terms of personality and status as a Miko. Also, some of her physical traits seems to be based on Menace.
- Claudia can be considered another Composite Character of Claudette (Chainmail Bikini and having a "complex" relationship with their father figure) and Annelotte (due to their knight-theme).
- Celestine appears to be a Composite Character of Alleyne and Melpha, in addition to bearing a strong resemblance to Irisviel von Einzbern.
Faux Action Girl: All the female characters fall under this. Granted, this is a Hentai so there is no actual fighting scenes letting the characters showcase their abilities. Arguable, the worst offender being Celestine, the leader of seven princess knights, who apparently gave up as soon as Vault came knocking.
Four Eyes, Zero Soul: Kin, one of Vault's two right-hand men and the mage of the Kuroinu mercenaries.
Friendly Enemy: Maia attempted to invoke this with the Kuroinu mercenaries since she was a former member. When she was captured, she talked casually to them and treated them like old friends. It's only after they started to "break her in" does she realize how far her former comrades have fallen.
Full-Circle Revolution: The Kuroinu mercenaries originally helped Celestine and princess knights to fight the forces of the Dark Queen Olga. However, as soon as the mercenaries were able to overthrow Olga, Vault became a far worse tyrant, and decide that he wanted to control all the kingdoms, including the ones that originally belonged to his former allies.
Genre Blindness: The mercenaries believe that keep the sceptre so close to Queen Olga was a good idea.
Genre Savvy: In the Manga on the contrary, they put a collar for eliminate her magic.
Grim Up North: The northern region in the story is controlled by Queen Olga and populated by dark elves and monsters.
Half-Human Hybrid: Chloe is stated to be half-human and half-dark elf. Kind of gives some pretty bleak implication considering Chloe's past. Halflings, like Luu-Luu, are apparently half-humans, and can bred with any species.
Hermaphrodite: In the manga adaptation, Kin can perform a ritual on a woman which can temporarily turn them into this. According to Kin, the ritual was created by a tribe of amazons so that breeding can be done between two women. After joining the Kuroinu mercenaries, Prim requested that the ritual be done on her so she would be able to violate and impregnate Alicia. The same ceremony was later used on a mind broken Chloe, who wanted to have sex Olga.
The High Queen: Celestine, although she is given title of "goddess" as opposed to queen.
Hopeless Suitor: This is the motivation of many of Vault's allies, being that under normal circumstances they never could have sex with their respective crush.
Hot Goddess: Celestine is stated to be the reincarnation of a goddess, and she is certainly hot.
God Save Us From the Queen: Zigzagged with Queen Olga. On one hand, Olga was been as war with Celestine for years and has allowed her monsters to capture human women that are forced to be Sex Slaves for her subjects. On the other hand, the human kingdoms have also been capturing female dark elves and forcing them to be the same type of slaves. Also, Olga seems to treat her loyal subjects relatively well, as demonstrated with her relationship Chloe, a former slave that Olga save and took in. Really it's a matter of Alternative Character Interpretation.
Kissing Cousins/Sister-Sister Incest: In the manga, Prim secretly was sexually attracted to Alicia. After see Alicia was raped by the Kuroinu mercenaries, Prim decide to join them as long she is temporally being turned into Hermaphrodite, and being allowed to violate Alicia.
Idiot Ball: Alicia certainly got hit with this pretty hard when her kingdom's nuns were captured. Vault's forces order Alicia to surrender or they would continue to rape the nuns. Both Alicia's soldiers and even the nuns themselves tell Alicia to either keeping fighting or retreat. Alicia is also fully aware that Vault's forces intend to force any woman they capture to be their Sex Slave, meaning that nuns would also be forced to be this whether or not Alicia surrenders. So what she do? She surrenders, resulting in more women being captured and raped, including her soldiers, the nuns she was trying to save, and even Prim.
Informed Ability: Many of the characters are stated to be extremely powerful fighters and mages, however we hardly ever see any of the characters in combat.
Invincible Villain: The Kuroinu mercenaries. Only in the first chapter, they were able to defeat an enemy that the alliance of kingdoms had not been able to overcome in centuries
Lady Land: At the beginning. Originally, the rulers of the nations were exclusively female.

Offstage Villainy: According to the narration, Queen Olga has allowed many of her monstrous subjects to kidnap and rape human women from neighbouring kingdoms. She also has been at war with Celestine forces for hundreds of years. However, onscreen, Olga hardly seems villainous. At her worst, she, understandably, wanted to kill Vault and his men since they were going to defile her and her closest subject, Chloe. Although her offscreen acts of villainy is somewhat justified with the implication that humans don't treat dark elves very well either, seeing as Chloe, someone Olga cared about, spent most of her childhood forced to be a Sex Slave for humans.
One-Gender Race: Halflings, Luu-Luu's race, are exclusively female. Orcs and other monsters seem to be exclusively male.
O-Ring Orifice: Many female character seem to have this, especially the ones that end up dealing with Vault's monsters. Chloe and Luu-Luu are some the more notable examples.
Our Elves Are Better: Although they are few in numbers, the elves tends to be the ruling class, with Celestine being the grand ruler of the nation, and Queen Olga controls the northern part of the country where all the monster and dark elves reside.
Parental Substitute: It's implied that Olga is this for Chloe. Grave Levantine was this for Claudia.
Power Nullifier: Queen Olga has one in the manga.

Spell My Name with an "S": How certain names are spelled out tends to vary depending on translation. For example, Olga could be "Origa", Vault could be "Volt", Luu-Luu could be "Ruu-Ruu" and etc. The official english translation of the visual novel should clear up the confusion once it comes out.
Standard Hero Reward: Villain example, many of the women were given as "rewards" to the Kuroinu mercenaries and their allies, for example Chloe was made as " the reward" for the orcs who helped the mercenaries overthrow Olga.
Stripperiffic: Let's just say some of outfits are super revealing, even by normal Hentai standards.
Token Wholesome: Subverted with Prim and Kaguya, that at first it seems to be this, but then it shows that this is false.
The Revolution Will Not Be Civilized: The Vault revolution involves the rape and enslavement of previously rulers.

Villain Has a Point: Despite forcing the former rulers to be sexual slaves, Vault really managed to end a war that had lasted for centuries.

We Used to Be Friends:
- Maia was a former member of the Kuroinu Mercenaries before being chosen by Celestine to be one of the seven princess knights. Maia felt confused and betrayed when her former friends began attacking the kingdoms.
- It's also implied that Kaguya and Shamuhaza also used to be friends.
- Same can be said about Claudia and Grave.
Worf Had the Flu: When Chloe tries to fight a Mook, she is defeated in one hit, but it is because she was in a very weak state. When she recovers, she can defeat a giant Mook, easily.
The Worf Effect: The Dark Elves.
Why Are You Not My Son: Or daughter in this case. Grave clearly favours his student and daughter-in-law (who is also implied to be his adopted daughter) Claudia, over his actual son, Klaus. However, since Claudia isn't his biological daughter, he decides to rape her in order to produce a proper heir of his bloodline.
Won't Take Yes for An Answer: In one fansub at least. One of the Olga´s owners tells her that "I'll rape you regardless of what you say!", although she was actually giving him permission.
