Sabrina the Animated Series/Characters

Everything About Fiction You Never Wanted to Know.

Sabrina Spellman

Salem

Hilda Spellman

Zelda Spellman

Uncle Quigley

  • Canon Foreigner: He only appears in the 1999 series. He was added in because with Hilda and Zelda as teenagers, there was no adult guardian living in the house.
  • Chuck Cunningham Syndrome: He disappears in Sabrina's Secret Life with no explanation. However, one could guess that he left because by then, Hilda and Zelda were legaly adults at that point, and didn't serve a purpose anymore.
  • Only Sane Man

Harvey Kinkle

Chloe Flan

Pi

Spooky Jar

  • Chuck Cunningham Syndrome: In Sabrina's Secret Life
  • Trickster Mentor: He comes off as evil and scary but always left a loophole in whatever Sabrina wished for so she could find a way to fix it when it (inevitably) goes wrong.

Gemini "Gem" Stone

Bernard

Scheherezade

  • Femme Fatale: Salem's ex-girlfriend who manipulated him and left him behind.
  • Sensual Slavs: Not actually Slavic, but she's a beautiful Hungarian cat (witch) who flirts with men and bends them to her will, then runs off with another man and breaks their hearts.

Tim the Witch Smeller

Enchantra Troublefield

The Queen of the Netherworld and Cassandra's aunt.

Portia

Nicole Candler

  • Damsel in Distress: She and Sabrina almost die in quicksand, and later Sabrina assumes she's in danger when a statuefied Nicole is kidnapped by Enchantra's goblins and taken to her castle.... only to reveal she wasn't actually in any peril and it was all a test of Sabrina's bravery.
  • Taken for Granite: She's turned into a statue and remains that way for the last segment of the movie.
  • Token Minority: Korean.

Maritza

Cassandra Troublefield

Tiffany Torry and Margaux Lee

Cassandra's lackeys

Wish Spirit

The ruler of Dreamland.

  • Big Bad: Of the Secret Life episode Living Her Dreams.
  • Manipulative Bitch: She takes advantage of miserable and upset people and lures them in with promises to make their dreams come true. She then makes them pay to stay there, and if they don't and there's a trespasser (someone who doesn't have money), she sacrifices them to a dragon. This is how she screws over Sabrina and Cassandra.

Olivia

Cassandra's old friend from the Netherworld.

  • Green Aesop: The entire episode was a green aesop, but she specifically was a metaphor for greedy people poisoning the environment. She had a terrible habit of littering and not caring what harm it caused, as she was selfish and arrogant. She later starts dumping radioactive waste around the Netherworld, making witches sick and turning them to stone, as she plans world domination.
  • Sailor Fuku: She wears a pink one.
