Rebuilding The World is a Post Potter RPG.

The year 2003.

It has been five years since the Battle of Hogwarts and the School has been recently reopened. The marks of the battle are still seen. But Hogwarts has been restored to its former glory.

There are several Death Eaters on the run, but without a leader to follow, they just commit wanton destruction.

In order to boost the Hogwarts students protection, McGonagall as headmistress, has been starting extra Defence against the Dark Arts groups. McGonagall also have been getting certain criticism from the Ministry of Magic by allowing vampires and werewolves enter Hogwarts as well as Muggle Borns and Pureblood Wizards. While the Headmistress protests to the Ministry it is all in the firm of Magical Co-operation, the Ministry says these new breeds of students may turn against the wizards, and sooner rather then later...

Tropes include:

• Abusive Parents: Quite a few students' parents are Death Eaters that fled when Voldemort fell.
• Accidental Athlete: Evadne, weirdly enough.
• Aerith and Bob: Names range from Septimus and Rafos to Phil and Ian.
• All There in the Manual: Snippets include canonical information towards the storyline not brought up in the actual episodes.
  • Also, there is the creature guide.
• An Arc: People disappearing from Hogsmeade is the first announcement of real plot in RTW.
  • As well as Trelawny's predictions.
    • Cadwyn's tarot card readings function much the same way as Trelawny's divinings.
  • And now there is the emerging arc about the vampire-werewolf racism.
• Ascended Fanboy: Phil and Edwin.
  • Phil is very versed in the subject of Harry Potter however, he doesn't like to be reminded that he looks like The Boy Who Lived himself.
  • As a werewolf, Edwin is very intrigued by the story of Remus Lupin, who led a successful life despite his affliction.
    • Ed's also a Flanagan fanboy.
• Alpha Bitch: Isabella Spindel.
• Attention Deficit Ooh Shiny: Ian has a sad moment. Cream puffs appear. Ian's happy again.
  • Emilie too, as seen in the Quidditch commentary.
• Badass Family: The Barons. The Spindels are a more evil version of the trope.
• Badass Teacher: Professor Baron, the new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher was an Auror, and put four Death Eaters in Azkaban.
• Berserk Button: A few.
  • Never ever use the world Mudblood in front of Phil or Jaina.
    • Don't insult Phil's father, either.
  • Don't tell Edwin how to cast spells.
  • Flanagans, keep away from Amaris.
  • Don't express anti-Slytherin sentiments in front of Cal or Glenn. Just... don't.
  • Don't compare Abel Cross to Tom Riddle.
  • If you really want to start a fight, make fun of Spindel's eyepatch.
  • Never harm Monty Baron's son.
• Betty and Veronica: Edwin is Archie, while Rippa Flanagan is Veronica and Amaris Minigan is Betty.
• Big Damn Heroes: Adam showing up to save the gang from the Death Eaters.
• Beware the Quiet Ones: For a normally placid quiet guy, Rafos Scriven can be quite menacing.
• The Big Damn Kiss: Jaina and Phil kiss - in front of the whole DA - after dueling practice.
• Big Eater: Ed, justified because he's a werewolf.
• Big Screwed-Up Family: The Flanagans.
  • The Spindels too.
  • Interestingly, the Scrivens are becoming one of these...
• Bi the Way: Silla.
• Black Sheep: Ephraim. No matter how he's categorized.
• Blatant Lies: Cadwyn Shaw does not like Abel Cross!
• Book Dumb: Edwin and Phillip.
• Breather Episode: The re-establishment of the Slug Club serves as one of these, wedged in between the two darker episodes.
• Butt Monkey: Colin Moon, and surprisingly Edwin.

• Celebrity Resemblance: Phil gets told he looks like Harry Potter a lot. He doesn't like it.
• Cerebus Syndrome: From the minute Evadne is hit by the Whomping Willow, it all goes downhill.
• Chivalrous Pervert: Cal.
• Cloudcuckoolander: Emilie Scriven and Alicia Moondust were set up as the new Luna Lovegood.
  • And then there's Starla Saffron...
• Cuckoolander Commentator: Emilie Scriven seems to have taken Luna's commentating job.
• Crash Into Hello: Phillip crashes into Jaina when he goes to the snack trolley.
• Dead Little Sister: Cadwyn literally has one, which may explain her frostier tendencies.
• Defrosting Ice Queen: Cadwyn whenever she happens to be talking to Adam.
• Disappeared Dad: Rafos' dad Henry.
  • There's also Glenn's dad, who abandoned the family.
  • Evadne has no idea where her father is. Or who her father is, for that matter.
• Don't You Dare Pity Me!: Though not stated outright, this is pretty clearly Cadwyn's attitude towards her past.
• Double Entendre: A few, most notably the "broomstick" conversation between Cal, Madame Rosmerta, and Lachesis Aquarius.
• Economy Cast: "Hi, I'm Cal Flanagan. I got to be a prefect because I am literally the only guy in my entire house."
• Embarrassing First Name: Cal's full first name is Caligula. Yes, like that Caligula.
  • Silla isn't wild about "Drusilla" either.
• Emergency Transformation: Rafos turns Krista into a vampire to save her from the Dementors.
• Extreme Omnisexual: Jack Hollows.
• Family Theme Naming: The Blakeny children are all named after Greek Gods.
  • Except Glenn.
  • Cal is named after Emperor Caligula. His family members are named accordingly--father Germanicus; mother Agrippina; brothers Nero and Drusus; sisters Agrippina Jr. ("Rippa"), Drusilla ("Silla"), and Livilla ("Livie"); etc.
• Fantastic Racism: Not many people are too happy with vampires and werewolves attending Hogwarts.
• Fiery Redhead: Jaina Raleigh.
• Six Man Band: The New Marauders
  • The Hero: Phil

• Flirting Under Fire: Jaina and Phil flirt in the middle of a Defense Against the Dark Arts class, during a Boggart demonstration.
  • They also kiss - in front of the whole of Dumbledore's Army.
• For the Evulz: Anything Cadwyn does is for her own amusement.
  • Same goes for Abel.
• Four-Temperament Ensemble: The four younger Flanagans. Cal is sanguine, Rippa is melancholic, Silla is choleric, Livie is phlegmatic.
• Freudian Excuse: Isabella Spindel was brought up by Death Eater parents, who used 'the M word' regularly. This may explain why she's an Alpha Bitch.
• Friendly Neighborhood Vampire: Rafos and Gabriel.
• Full Name Ultimatum: Phil gets one of these from his mother following the debacle in the Shrieking Shack. "Phillip Timothy Baron!"
  • Phil also subjects Ephraim to one of these: "Ephraim Jeremiah Reeves!"
• Fur Against Fang: According to Rafos, vampire and werewolf racism was common in the olden days, but now they are much more tolerant of each other. Then came the Blood Tension arc, which kickstarted the racism again Up to Eleven.
• Heroes Want Redheads: Phil seems taken with Jaina Raleigh.
• Heterosexual Life Partners: Phil, Ed, Raf and Eph.
• Hidden Agenda Villain: Abel Cross wants to control Hogwarts, but we don't know why.
• I Didn't Mean to Turn You On: Jaina accidentally makes a statement in an alluring way towards Phil.
• I Have Brothers: Jaina uses this excuse semi-freqently.
• Informed Attribute: Abel Cross's bio says that he is charming and outwardly friendly. We never see evidence of this and almost all of the other characters at least know he's an asshole, if they haven't outright called him one to his face.
• Innocent Innuendo: Jaina uses this trope to thoroughly mess with Ephraim's head.
• Insufferable Genius: Colin Moon.
• It's All My Fault: Ephraim following the fiasco in the Shrieking Shack.
• Knight Templar Big Brother: Rafos to Emilie.
  • Though usually lax in regards to his sisters, Cal takes on this role during the Blood Tension arc. Granted, he probably couldn't have picked a better time.
• Loads and Loads of Characters: 30 characters and counting, excluding Canons.
• Love At First Sight: Clifford for Evadne. It's not requited (but she does sleep with him).
  • Ephraim seems pretty immediately interested in a certain Alicia Moondust...
• Love Dodecahedron: Oh god.
  • Rafos likes Krista but is also interested in rekindling the romance with his ex, Cadwyn. Cadwyn likes Adam, who likes her back, but is still hung up on Rafos somewhat. Abel Cross is also interested in Cadwyn who may or may not like him back. If that doesn't make things worse, Krista has expressed interest in Tyler Rinaldi, Adam's brother. And that just cover a part of it....
  • Evadne likes Cal, who likes her back. Clifford likes Evadne. Isabella Spindel likes Cal, as does her friend Odessa Vanloan. However, Abel Cross flirted with them, causing them to fall in love with him. Cal also likes the new Transfiguration teacher. On top of that, Jack Hollows has a crush on Cal too. To make matters worse: Cal has slept with the whole sixth and seventh year.
  • Jack likes almost everybody, but especially Cal.
  • Glenn has stated his interest in Isabella, but has shown no objections to her interests in Cal and Abel having resigned himself to having the status of particularly close friends. At this point in the plot, there is no sign that she currently does, or ever will reciprocate his feelings.
  • Last but not least, we have Edwin Growley, who alternates between fellow werewolves Amaris Minigan and Rippa Flanagan. There may also be something going on between Amaris and Ian Stavos.
• Making Love in All the Wrong Places: Considering Cal's tryst with the Avery twins and Evadne's hook-up with Clifford, students might want to knock first before entering any of the train compartments.
• Marshmallow Hell: Ephraim is subjected to this at the hands of Jaina.
• Massive Numbered Siblings: Glenn is the oldest and the only one of the five Blakeny children to currently be of age to attend Hogwarts.
  • The Flanagan family has six children.
• Meaningful Name: Edwin Growley, werewolf.
• Mismatched Eyes: Krista.
• Morality Pet: Livie, to both Cal and Rippa.
  • Inverted with Emilie and Rafos.
• Motor Mouth: Ian Stavos.
• Mythology Gag: Edwin at the end of The Dance Floor:

"These girls," he stammered. "They're gonna kill me, Phil!"

• Nerds Are Sexy: Evadne. Not only will she be in a position to prescribe you a Phalloplast Potion, she'll also brew it for you.
• Never Mess with Granny: McGonagall. Seriously.
• Next Gen Forum
• Ninja Pirate Zombie Robot: A rotten spider Dementor hybrid.
• No Except Yes: "Boggarts aren't really your fears, they're only perceptions of you fears!"
• Official Couple: Jaina and Phil.
  • Beta Couple: Edwin and Rippa, Rafos and Krista, Ephraim and Alicia, and Gideon and Starla.
• Our Werewolves Are Different: "Runts".
• Only Sane Man: At this point, Adam and Amaris seem like the prime candidates.
  • Ephraim fits this trope when dealing with Phil's group.
  • Glenn also fits this when dealing with the entirety of Slytherin House.
• Papa Wolf: Monty to Phil.
• Pet the Dog: Spindel gets one by congratulating Phil about facing down her Death Eater parents. Unfortunately, she is worried about her reputation...so then, she punches Phil on the arm.
• Phlebotinum Overdose: The reason behind Ian's immunity to the wolfsbane potion.
• The Prankster: Phil and Edwin. They have the intent of being the 'new Fred and George.'
• Prince Charming Wannabe: Clifford.
• Psycho Ex-Girlfriend: Cadwyn, while not exactly psycho, is certainly troublesome.
• Punctuated for Emphasis: "TAKE! THAT! BACK!"
• Rant-Inducing Slight: Monty has one in "Lodging with Danger" after Lucia Card yells at him.
• Real Men Eat Meat: Averted with Ian.
• Really 700 Years Old: Rafos is 150, Emilie is 100, Cadwyn is 116, and Gabe is 400. They all look like teens.
• Really Gets Around: Cal and Evadne both.
• Recycled in Space: It's Harry Potter set in 2003 WITH VAMPIRES AND WEREWOLVES!
• Running Gag:
  • Slughorn getting the names of students wrong.
    • Jaina's in particular seems to give him trouble.
  • Every time Phil's group goes to Hagrid's Hut, somebody else would always be there and open the door.
• Saw Star Wars 27 Times: Colin has read Hogwarts: A History fifty times.
• Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Ephraim has tried to pull this twice. Once following the establishment of Phil and Jaina and once in Dangerous Lodgings. He comes back both times though.
• Shirtless Scene: Ian has a mild one of these during The Dance Floor, much to Amaris' embarrassment.
• Stepford Smiler: Cal at times.
  • Ian too.
• Straight Gay: Gabriel.
• Sugar and Ice Personality: Cadwyn Shaw.
• Super-Powered Evil Side: A common thing for vampires. They have a side of them which longs for blood and hate humans. It can be repressed though. Rafos thought he got rid of his. He was wrong.
  • Gabriel doesn't seem to be affected by this, but he's a lot older than the other vampires, so maybe he just outgrew it.
  • Cadwyn puts little effort into suppressing this side of her and primarily expresses this personality to the world.
• Surrounded by Idiots: Basically Rippa's attitude toward her family.
• Tactical Withdrawal: Nikkos and Lachesis pull one of these when they realize that things inside the shrieking shack have gotten too far out of their control.
• "Take That!" Kiss: Isabella does this to Phil's group in 'The New Marauders'.
• Tarot Readings: Shown through Cadwyn's compulsive need to consult her Tarot over everything.
• Tempting Fate: Monty wants a quiet life as a Hogwarts teacher. This is Hogwarts we're talking about.
• The Casanova: Cal.
• The Quiet One: Rafos.
  • Declan as well.
• The Snark Knight: Rippa.
• They're Called "Personal Issues" for a Reason: Quite a few of the characters dislike sharing about parts of or all of their home lives.
  • At this point it seems to be Ephraim in particular who struggles with this.
• True Companions: The Marauders.
• Twin Threesome Fantasy: Cal lives this out with the Avery sisters in the baggage car of the Hogwarts Express.
• Twofer Token Minority: As a gay black vampire, Gabriel is a threefer.
• Vegetarian Vampire: A requirement for all vampire students, at least while enrolled. Some struggle with it more than others.
  • There's also Ian, the vegetarian werewolf.
• Victoria's Secret Compartment: How Jaina hides the Marauders Map.
• Vitriolic Best Buds: Everybody in Phil's group butt heads with each other, but they're best friends. Especially Phil and Ephraim!
• Warm Bloodbags Are Everywhere: At least, if you ask Emilie. And Krista.
• "Well Done, Son" Guy: Germanicus for Cal.
• Wham! Episode: Three so far:
  • Dumbledore's Army Reborn: The DA is reformed, and the first couple is formed.
  • Secrets and Dates: There are people living in the Shrieking Shack!
  • Lodging With Danger: The Marauders find out who's living in the Shrieking Shack. They're Death Eaters! It also changes things by making the Marauders heroes (or villains depending on who you ask) and the public knows the Death Eaters are in Hogsmeade now - or rather, that they were in Hogsmeade.
• Wham! Line: In 'Blood Tension'.

Emilie: Oh, I did brother. It was I who sent it to you!

• Weirdness Magnet: It seems even after Voldemort has been vanquished, Hogwarts still can't have a normal year.
• What the Hell, Hero?: Monty gets a particularly harsh one from Evadne after he refuses to chase after her mother and the other Death Eaters.
  • Ephraim gives Rafos quite the talking to after his "The Reason You Suck" Speech to Cadwyn in the hallway.
• Wizarding School: Hogwarts, naturally!
• World of Snark: Like the canon Potterverse, Hogwarts is full of snarkers notably: Phil, Edwin, Rafos, Ephraim, Cadwyn, Cal, Rippa, Silla, Jaina, Evadne and McGonagall.
• You Need to Get Laid: Gabriel privately thinks this about Isabella.
