He then learns they are dead and were killed by their friend, Dr. Adler (who became Master Org). Cole demonstrates considerable restraint in not killing Adler when he had the chance.

• Orcus on His Throne: Justified at first because he's truly only human at the beginning and wouldn't be much of a threat himself. Then he goes One-Winged Angel...
• Was Once a Man: Early on, subverted; but then the real Master Org came and took over Adler fully.
