Revision as of 17:06, 8 April 2014

Naturally, due to the sheer number of creators pitching in their Vocaloid music creations, the end products range from usual Youtube Poop... to songs listed below.

LOLA

  • Here's an interesting use of Lola in the song Be My Baby by muzehack.
    • Another interesting song using Lola by muzehack again, Take My Hand.
  • Double Melody, her own version of Double Lariat, could use a bit more polish, but is a very solid Lola song.
  • Existence. Probably LOLA at her best.
  • Feel the Pain has a nice beat to it, and it's probably the best song telling me to "Feel the Pain".
  • It's very unusual to hear Lola sing a higher range, listen to this cover of Fly me to the Moon.
  • Though not really much of a Vocaloid song, it is a very popular Japanese song using Lola, Meditational Field from the 2006 Japanese Anime Film Paprika.
  • Anarobik's My Time pushes LOLA close to, if not right up to, her full capabilities. The vocals are even better than they are Existence, and that's saying something.
  • Lola's cover of 'Want You Gone' shows that she can still shine with the right song.

LEON

MIRIAM

MEIKO

KAITO

  • The original mu-cho Remix of Alice is soothing, but Kaito's cover makes the vocals even more so.
  • Time Forgotten One combines a nearly completely human sounding Kaito with a great storyline and hauntingly beautiful music. What else do you need for an awesome song?
  • Black Moon is a song by Machigerita-P so if you're aware of his work, listen to it and you know you shouldn't be surprised by this horror-esque, storytelling song.
  • "Finite Magician" and related song "Unfading Flower" combine a genius story line and nearly-human tuning, as well as awesome instrumentals.
  • Flower Tail. Another example of how beautifully Kaito can pull of those "exotic-sounding" songs.
  • Houraihua/Houraika tells a sad story while using Kaito's voice brilliantly.
  • Judgement of Corruption can and will get stuck in your head. No exception.
  • His cover of Len's imitator is on par with if not superior to the original.
  • Cantarella is a classic.
  • Fragments of Memories
  • Song of Battle. beautiful song + awesome PV = win.
  • Byakkoya no Musume is a cover of the ending song of Paprika by Bucchigiri-P. Gives the oft-abused Kaito dignity and make him sound perfectly human in the process.
    • Kaiko's version managed to make it awesomer once you get past the somewhat chiptuney opening it becomes almost aria-like.
  • It seems to be a universal rule that all vocaloids must at one point cover "Dancing Samurai". Difference with Kaito's version is that he does it in acapella. Kaiko's is awesome in its own right.
  • "Garden of Mother is something of a Tear Jerker and a wonderful story (despite a dissatisfying ending).
  • Heartrate#0822, a Miku cover of Kaito's.
  • His cover of The Island Song is very good as well.
    • You should hear his original voice actor Naoto Fuunga's cover.
  • Jewel is one of the more real-sounding Kaito songs.
  • His cover of Last Night, Good Night is probably one of the best ones.
  • "Let's Kiss, Hiding In A Car", a beautifully melancholy song by Kaito.
  • And for those who can't get enough Kaito, here's a well executed version of "Love 1000%" sung by... six Kaitos.
  • Kaito's Japanese cover of Memory from the musical Cats is just beautiful.
  • For fans of Deco*27, I give you Mozaik Role, covered by Kaito.
  • There is a reason that the "Nii-san no Honki" tag exists on Nicovideo, and Pane Dhiria is a good demonstration of that.
  • Melt, Kaito's cover of the song.
  • Another Kaito cover of Miku's, and just as good/creepy: Musunde Hiraite Rasetsu to Mukuro.
  • Kaito's cover of Rolling Girl is amazing. Not only is he doing a Wowaka song justice, he's also covering the rap version simultaneously.
  • Sayang makes Kaito's voice so robotic, real, and exotic at the same time.
  • Song of the Clocktower and it's remix for Kaito's birthday in 2011, Verse of the Clocktower.
  • This cover of A-ha's Take On Me has quite a following, despite Kaito's thick accent.
  • Thousand Year Solo is also a good reason why people like using him for more exotic songs.
    • The KAITO Append version of the song gives this troper goosebumps. GOOSEBUMPS. FROM A SYNTHETIC VOICE.
  • To You. It's hard to believe Kaito was capable of sounding so well all along.
  • Tutelary of Water is a heartwrenching song that Needs More Love
  • Two-Faced Errors, Kaito's parody of Ura Omote Lovers, where the theme is changed to the serious problems with computers (such as viruses). To add to the pun, the background music consists entirely of Microsoft Windows sound effects.
  • Kaito is not the first Vocaloid one pictures when thinking of "Disgustingly cute and happy poppy songs," but even he can be sugary-sweet at times. Proof? U-Nya-Pu, a song so adorable it has mewing kittens in its background music. It's downright cuddly.
  • What's COLOR? is a beautiful, heart-rending song by Shinjou-P, who is well-known for her Kaito works.
  • "WHITE NIGHT" is a cover done by Konki-P. Best example of English done by a Japanese Vocaloid I've heard.
  • When I Get Home My Wife Always Pretends To Be Dead. Admit it, you already want to click on it just from the title!
  • World's End Dancehall (Kaito Version)

Sweet Ann

  • Sweet Ann's cover of Boulevard of Broken Dreams by Green Day.
  • Everlasting Love by Sweet Ann is a short but awesome song.
  • Not many Vocaloids can claim to have dubbed Miku's 'Last Night, Good Night' on the same level as Miku originally sung it. Sweet Ann is now one of the Vocaloids who can.
  • Sweet Ann is regarded as the best of Engloids, and one of the best uses of her voice is seen in Giuseppe's use of her in Let It Be.
  • Love is War Sweet Ann's version, is very good if I don't say so myself, and really shows what she's capable of when used right.
  • Sweet Ann's cover of Meltdown Hard R.K. mix is just awesome. There's no other way to describe it.
  • This english cover of Rolling Girl. Not only does push Ann to her limits, she manages to sound almost exactly like the original while doing so!
  • Many people often critize Sweet Ann's english pronunciation, but this cover of Still Alive shows that she can sing in english just as well, if not better then any other engloid when used right. (Lola humming along at the end is also pretty adorable too.)
  • Sweet Ann's original intention, according to PowerFX, was to sound 'sassy'. However, the song Succubus goes a little over that and straight to 'sexy'.
  • Sweet Ann Sweet Ann★Burning Night Is a little hard to understand because of the fast pased nature of the 'night' song series, but is still a great cover of Lily's version.
  • She can pull off Want You Gone just as well.

Hatsune Miku

  • 1/6 was heart warming.
  • Her cover of Green Day's 21 Guns (humorously nicknamed 21 Leeks), with rather good English.
  • Her cover of King Crimson's 21st Century Schizoid Man, though being the type of song it is, the vocals only take place in a fraction of the song.
  • 6900000000 is the current number of human population.
  • A non-Japanese song covered by Hatsune Miku worth mentioning: Nena's 99 Luftballoons - Miku sounds almost convincingly German here.
  • Afterglow A really warm and calming song.
  • Ako'y Nasaktan ("I'm Hurt"), an original Tagalog melancholy song about the pain of a broken heart, by the same composer of "Let's Party Tonight" and "Sa Piling Mo" above.
  • ALICE iN BLACK MARKET, which uses Miku's Solid and Power Append banks to create a heavy yet catchy song. There's no consensus what it's about, but it seems to be about her mentally dominating a guy for sex.
  • Anger (PV Edit) by Tripshots.
  • Aquarium of the Sky
  • Treow does it again with ARCA, a catchy House song based around Peter Pan.
  • ARiA, the continuation to SPiCA, is a beautiful song with a professional-level PV.
  • Her cover of Bad Apple
  • BadBye, notable for the absolute ton of awesome covers out there, and an awesome alternate PV.
  • BE MIKU. That's right...singing to a megamix of WWE entrance themes.

Kagamine Rin and Len

Prima

  • Entrust by Prima shows that even Vocaloids designed for opera can still sound good when singing other genres.

Gakupo

Megurine Luka

Gumi

  • Aitai has a great use of emotion with Gumi's voice. The tremolo in particular is what pulls it off.
  • Her cover of Heart's Alone. Not too bad in her engrish if you'll forgive the raspiness of her voice.
  • Amai Kotoba by Circus-P utilizes Gumi's Power append wonderfully.
  • Amayadori. Even though Gumi's not sounding her best here, it's still a great and endearing song.
  • American 60 is a very sweet song about Gumi seeing off her boyfriend on a train and sneaking some money in his pocket so he'll be forced to come back and repay her.
  • Presenting Gumi's cover of Bad Apple!!. Some serious Lyrical Dissonance, but still awesome.
  • Born Coward
  • Campanella. Make sure you have a box of tissues next to you before watching.
  • Her cover of Candy Candy has been praised to be better than the original!
  • Carnival features a maniacal GUMI. The song itself is catchy too.
  • Coward Mont Blanc is just plain amazing in the excecution of Gumi's voice. The only drawback is that it's difficult to get the emotion across until the end, when it hits you with the real meaning of the song.
    • That isn't even a drawback, really. It just makes the ending hit that much harder.
  • Cut-Off Line, a melancholic yet catchy song about how hard it is to throw away the feelings for a past love. The trumpets are what makes this song a worth listen. Also, is done by 40m, one of the few people out there who can make GUMI sound almost completely human.
  • Her cover of the Cutey Honey Theme Song. She even has her hair colored red for the occasion.
  • Datte Datte Datte is pretty sweet.
  • Gumi's cover of Dearest fooled me due to how amazingly real it sounded. Miku and MEIKO's are equally awesome.
  • Demo Aenakute... makes awesome use of her voice. For certain reasons.
  • Disurare shows the more badass side of Gumi wonderfully.
  • Dream Eater makes wonderful use of her power voicebanks and definitely needs more love.
  • Dystopia Zipangu is an awesome treat, no surprise considering it was done by cosmo.
  • Eye Sensor is so friggin' awesome I can't even.
  • Eyesight Test has a really catchy instrumental and the eye doctor also helps reel in the fangirls.
  • Freesia Memory
  • Goodbye to Alice depending on the person you are, it's either got you empathetic or sniffling. The use of her voice is great in this song.
  • Goodnight Sweetheart is a sweet song about Gumi spending time with someone she loves
  • Green Lights Definitely the kind of song you want to fall asleep to.
  • Green Straight is a relaxed and sweet song. Gumi's vibrato and her tremolo are highlighted here.
  • Hajimari no Owari is especially pretty, if melancholy.
  • Hankou Seimei. That is all.
  • He Drives Me Crazy, a genderbent cover of She Drives Me Crazy by Fine Young Cannibals.
  • I Love Carrots is Gumi's possible response to Miku's PoPiPo at first, until it turns into a Big Brother Complex song midway through.
  • Idiocy is awesome, no surprise that it was made by Hachi.
  • Invisible So calming... for a few seconds, until it assaults you with hardcoreness, becoming an appealing, fast-paced masterpiece.
  • Her cover of Ranka Lee's Interstellar Flight. Compare with the original Ranka Lee version - they're so similar (then again, when they have exactly the same seiyuu...).
    • Bonus: Samples of her V3 edition (Power and Whisper) performance of Interstellar Flight - you can really hear the difference from the original Gumi.
  • Her cover of Irony by Claris is delightfully pleasant to listen to.
  • Killer Lady is a fast high powered song with rather suggestive lyrics (emphasized by a very fanservicey picture of Gumi).
  • Kuusou Palette
  • Life Reset Button needs no words to show off its epicness.
  • Her cover of Lilium is the most realistic version I have ever heard.
  • Her genderbent cover of Hinder's Lips of an Angel.
  • Mathematics Girl by Oster Project is a wonderfully quirky song about a girl's confusion in love...and hey, pumpkin heads.
  • Mermaid is a lovely Gumi song with a touch of sadness and the spray of the seaside.
  • Her cover of Miracle Hinacle is also very good and considered by some as her signature piece... which makes the song a Crowning Music of Awesome squared.
  • Ladies and gentlemen! DECO* 27 has done it again with Mozaik Roll.
  • Noisy is an awesome use of her original voicebanks.
  • Our 16bit Warz GUMI grows a pair.
  • Panda Hero by Hachi
  • Period has some really neat rhythm to it.
  • Poison and Divide by apolxcore.
  • Poker Face by Yuucha-P.
  • Even if Gumi's voice sounds flat it sets the tone for Raison D'etre, Please
  • Romance Hero is a realistic usage of her power voicebanks, while still keeping an awesome rock tone.
  • Rosetta is an awesome song that is fast-paced, and dizzying.
  • Her cover of Rihanna's Rude Boy. With Surprisingly Good English.
  • Sayonara Memories is a fabulous cover of Supercell by GUMI. Her voice sounds so real and emotional, it's hard to believe it isn't a human singing.
  • Her cover of Sekiranun Graffiti is very awesome, as much as the original.
  • Sequence of Love is a nicely done song about a young idealistic girl who tries to get into a relationship but finds out that reality is harsh teacher.
  • Shanghai Electro is certainly unique.
  • Sheep Sleep Sheep, a funny song which implies having trouble sleeping. Part of the song's charm is the PV, showing Gumi having a HUGE collection of goggles.
  • Sorry For Being A Closet Otaku, another funny song by Gumi about being an otaku, and getting found out by people she did not expect: her male classmate, whom she meets at a cosplay convention while being a cosplayer herself when he wants to take a picture of her, and later her father, whom she meets at a Maid Cafe where she works, and he's her customer. She gets both of them to keep it a secret.
  • Striped Melody is a very cute song; made amazing seeing as it is probably the happiest song penned by UTSU-P.
  • It may be hard to imagine a Yandere Gumi, but Sunset Love Suicide proves otherwise.
  • Sweet Float Flats is pretty upbeat and cute. Then it got weird.
  • Taking Shelter From The Rain, another tragic love song about meeting a boy she likes after taking shelter from the rain and getting close to him, but then he dies at the end.
  • Ten-Faced is a completely addicting Gumi song about her acting like other people after having her heart-broken, which leads to her crush thinking she has multiple personality disorder. Or something like that. It also sounds cool. It's odd, but awesome.
  • That's Not Enough, a very cute song by Gumi with Kaito, Len, and Gakupo providing a Du-wop style backing chorus.
  • Time Warped After Chopping My Beetle is a bit of a mouthful, and the beginning of the song is pretty weird; but the ending is just so heartwarming and has a very valuable message.
  • Traveler is upbeat and Needs More Love
  • Try to live slow and awesome song.
  • Two Seconds Time is an awesome bit of music.
  • [uncertain Happines] surely this song Needs More Love.
  • Waltz for Stranger is a beautiful, calming demo for Whisper Extend.

Sonika

  • aiSeNMa is quite possibly the best use of Sonika I have ever heard. Not only are her pronouncations strong and easy to understand, she actually has quite some power behind her voice unlike so many other songs that use her.
  • Sonika sounds awesome in the song Bahama Mama
  • Sonika's cover of BPM is very sweet and plays on her streagths.
  • Carry On by Sonika is by far the most 'real' sounding Sonika song that this troper has heard from her so far.
  • Cassandra is a very nice Sonika original about the Greek myth.
  • People complain that Sonika sounds bad and glitchy but there are just gems like this original song Fade Away. The composer even showed how to make her sound decent.
  • And here's Sonika's cover of Popipo as well.
  • Press that Accelerator by Sonika, like the above song, is up beat despite it's shortness.
  • Scenery by Sonika is very up beat despite being on the short side.
  • Sonika's cover of Carpenters' Top of the World is rather nicely made, and the mood is enhanced by a very cute drawing of Sonika.
  • Also, her cover of Where Have You Been?. Let's just say that Circus P wins engaloids forever.

Oliver

  • His cover of Finale is very smooth and and flows really well.
  • His original song ~Gasp is probably one of the weirdest but coolest things done with a Vocaloid.
  • His cover of Tears for Fears's Mad World, as popularized by Gary Jules.
  • Before his release, Oliver got actually got a suprisingly large ammount of positive reception for an Engloid, with many saying he just might be one of the best english Vocaloids created. His cover of Silent Night pretty much hammers this home, and just in time for the holidays as well.
  • His cover of Song of Healing is a very excellent use of his voice.
  • Like wise, his cover of You were there is another exceptional use of his voice. (Warning: the video contains Ico spoliers.)

CUL

Yuzuki Yukari

  • Her cover of B.I.N.G.O.
  • Her cover of Mozaik Role, in which she sounds almost humanlike.
  • Her cover of Senbonzakura
  • Setsugetsuka, not to be confused with a song of the same title from Vana N'Ice. A stunning evaluation of Yukari's vocal qualities, not just in song but in speech. That's right—Yuzuki Yukari is talking on VOICEROID in the beginning.
  • Torinoko City
  • Her cover of Kitchie Nadal's OPM Wag na Wag mong Sasabihin (Never ever Tell). Probably the best OPM cover by any vocaloid.

Bruno

  • Spice!, originally for Len, is nicely covered in Spanish by Bruno.

Nico Nico Chorus

  Also: this

    • And one can't forget this piece of quantified awesomeness. Yoppei does not actually sing the song AT ALL. That's "Meltdown" you're hearing
  • This version of Romeo and Cinderella is so amazing it gets its own PV.
  • This Nico Nico Chorus of Cremation Melody is AMAZING. This troper was completely in love within hearing the first singer's voice.
  • This 50 people version of Toeto is absolutely angelic sounding. Especially when Luka gets her solo
  • Wanderlast. This troper was on goosebumps at the end.
  • This version of World's End Dancehall is not just a chorus, but a chorus of 12 existing choruses.
  • The Nico Nico Chorus's Re Edited and Mastered version of Dear is an Eargasm.
  • Melancholic. Its not just one, but FOUR versions of an already catchy song.
  • The band version of Panda Hero with one hundred thirty people in it.
  • The Awesome chorus of "Mr. Music" above, "Mr. Music ~chorus~"
  • Hello/Howareyou <3
  • Ten-Faced is now with chorus.
  • Leia. This troper even believe this is the original song.
  • Halyosy wrote Smiling(mentioned above), got a large group of Nico singers together, and made one of the most uplifting, inspiring, and catchy choruses ever during Japan's troubles.
  • This chorus of Luka's "No Logic" is one of my favorite NND choruses. Not quite sure why, but I really love this.
  • Rotten Heresy and Chocholate with energetic chorus and nice guitar accompanion.
  • This cover of From Y to Y sung by seven guys is breathtaking.
  • Jinsei Game which mix chorus, creepy music and awesomeness into one.
  • Sacred Secret. HOLY CRAP, this song sounds amazing.
  • Tsumugi Uta. It is truly too beautiful for words.
  • Shining Ray. Sweet jeebus...
  • Chorus of yubikiri is eargasm for man and woman.
  • PONPONPON.
  • Heart Beats. Just listen to it.
  • Last Night, Good Night. As one comment put it, "Yes, hello, God? I do believe you are missing some angels..."
  • My favorite Vocaloid song of all time finally has a NNC! Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you Tsugai Kogarashi.
  • Unhappy Refrain - In which Kouhei and Shuiro steal the scene.
  • Babylon. Or as this tropette calls it, "The Anthem of the Hot Blooded."

Series

  • Paradise of Light and Shadow. the video linked is the second in the series, the song is longest, and gives the bulk of the main story. It's first song, Looking for you in the sky serves as a Prologue. If this doesn't count as TV Tropes Made of Win Archive, then I don't know what does.
    • The entire Synchronicity webnovel, really.
  • Again, First Virus Resistance.
  • The whole Evil series, Servant of Evil in particular is an incredibly touching, tear jerking song.
  • CosMo's Disappearance of Hatsune Miku. The album's out now, and it's beautiful.
  • Sasakure's Shuumatsu-ron series, four songs by Rin, Gumi, Luka, and Miku in which humanity is slowly wiped out by a nuclear war and an alien attack destroying the atmosphere, as reflected in four people's stories of life and love. It culminates in Miku's infamous Tear Jerker *Hello, planet.
  • Samfree's Night series for a reminder of how fun Eurobeat is; the type you'd love to play at rave parties.
    • For those wondering: Luka, Gumi, Miki, Nana (An UTAU, but apparently it got Samfree's collaboration in its making, ergo, song), Lily, Nekomura &, most recently, Piko. And Miku. And just for kicks, Tako Luka. How's that for dedication.
      • Also Len, though it's unclear if samfree was involved.
  • Soundless Voice/Proof of life and Prisoner/Paper Planes rock this.
  • Lelele-P's "_____ Renka/Lenka" series:

What should I do? I'm sorryyyyyyy!

  • The entire Return to Zero series was pretty awesome.
  • Remember when we said that Story of Evil was part of a bigger series? Well, it's called The Evillious Chronicles, formerly known as The Seven Deadly Sins Series. There are four subseries for them:
    • The Original Sin Series (Moonlit Bear (Miku), Abandoned On a Moonlit Night (Rin and Len), and Chrono Story (Luka).
    • The Seven Deadly Sins (Story Of Evil (Rin, Len and Haku; represents Pride), Evil Food Eater Conchita (Meiko;, represents Gluttony), Tailorshop On Enbizaka (Luka; represents Envy), Madness of Duke Venomania (Gakupo; represents Lust), Judgement Of Corruption (Kaito; represents Greed), and Gift From Princess Sleep-Bringer (Miku; represents Sloth); Wrath has yet to be released, but is scheduled to be sung by Gumi.)
    • The Clockwork Lullaby Series (Clockwork Lullaby (Rin), Girl of a Miniature Garden (Miku), Re_Birthday (Len), and Heartbeat Clocktower (Kaito), Chrono Story (Luka), Capriccio Farce (Multiple Vocaloids)
    • The End of Four Series [3] (Master of the Graveyard (Meiko), Master of the Court (Miku). Master of the Hellish Yard and Master of the Heavenly Yard have yet to be released, but the former will most likely be sung by Gumi, and the latter sung by Len.)
  • The entire Dark Woods Circus series, starring Miku:
  • The "Dr. Realist" (I do not know if the series has an official name but bear with me now.) by cosMo is a mix of philosophy, scary, and just plain awesome. Here's the list in what I believe to be the story order.

Other

  • Pane Dhiria is the original song by a breathy Kaito, which initially doesn't work for the type of song it really is. However, Teto's Rendition brings out the full power of the song better, and really helps the song around. In addition, the Nico Nico Chorus version makes the whole thing come out in full blossom, attacking the listener with the full capabilities of the song.
  • Rolling Girl is just so bloody amazing I don't even.
  • Let's keep the rap going, have the boy's side to Just be Friends.
  • Vana N'Ice, composed by natsu-P and others puts Gakupo, Kaito, and a crossdressing Len together to make a few awesome songs.
  • The VOCALOID mashup of Just Be Friends and Meltdown-- Just Be Meltdown. two Crowning Music of Awesome songs in one? Hell. Yes.
    • The amazing Pandashka should be mentioned. Double the hachi, double the awesome.
  • akka's two other P Vs are already on this page (they're the famous Yowamushi Montblanc and Mozaik Role), but check out the third, also to a DECO*27 song. Complete with Persona and Evangelion references!
  • Sukone Tei's 13km is bloody amazing/adorable and damn catchy too.
  • The original Matryoshka sung by Miku and GUMI is great, but the Teto and Ritsu cover is very epic in its own right, especially with the occasional added tweak to their voices, giving the overall effect that the singers aren't quite mentally stable...
  • The original Miku versions of out of step and Ura-Omote Lovers are pretty nice, but these covers with Tony Yonné take the vocals to another level. Just listen to that ending note in his cover of out of step.
  • And niconicosamurai0320's instrumental covers. They are TV Tropes Made of Win Archive.
  • The original E.T. by Katy Perry was already good enough, but this troper prefers Namine Ritsu's version. Which is also the most clear Engrish she has heard from a Japanese UTAU.
  • The Hagane Miku remix of Love Is War. THERE ARE NO WORDS.
  • This Piano rendition of Double Lariat is so beautiful, I could cry
  • Leia's piano rendition is quite beautiful as well
  • marasy8 has a collection of great piano covers, such as Fire Flower, Just Be Friends, Bad Apple!!, World's End Dancehall and, amazingly, The Disappearance Of Hatsune Miku. And those are only 5 of the fantastic collection.
    • Come for the sexy piano. Stay for the monkey.
    • More from marasy8 than from Vocaloid, but he also did a concert of God Knows.
  • This cover of Billy Joel's The Longest Time featuring an ensemble comprising of Big Al and four UTA Uoids just shows how great these android singers can be on their own (i.e. singing acappella).
  • This UTAU cover of FLOWER TAIL, featuring Ron Keine and a chorus of 16 other voices.
  • Neko Kanochi proves exactly how amazing UTAU-loids can be in the right hands with her cover of Starduster.
  • Yowane Haku's cover of the OPM Kung Maibabalik Ko Lang ("If Only I Could Bring It Back"). Quite fitting for her being a tragic love song.
  • I Drink, an original song specifically made for Yowane Haku. She actually sounds drunk while singing.
  • Yowane Haku's cover of Last Night Good Night
  • Parody of "Matryoshka" but with Pokemon? "Damn."
  • Yowane Haku's cover of SeeU's I=Fantasy
  • MEIKO and Sakine Meiko do a cover of the Cutey Honey Theme Song while transforming into each other.
  • Adding to the mash-ups is this mash-up of Ai Kotoba and Happy Synthesizer.
  • I can't believe this isn't on here. This is a FUCKING amazing mash-up of 134 songs, done on piano. It's just-- Words cannot describe.
  • Luna Amane's cover of Goodbye One-Way-Heart is waay better than Miku's version. Despite UTAUs being famous for their mechanical sound, in this version it works just so well and gives the song new feeling.
  • This might just be me being weird, but the Acapella Canon in D by Teto, Luna, Mako, and Ron turns the Classical piece into something out of a Nintendo piece. Is it corny to think that this is awesome? Yes. But is it cool considering? Hells yes.
  • This Utau cover of Song of a Robot's Ear is awesome. Much like "Smiling" and "Mr. Music" this song uses an extensive amount of Utaus. You're thinking 7? More like 317. Yeah.
  • Matsudappoiyo's cover of Stargazer is truly fantastic, especially considering how frickin' hard it was getting him to sound that amazing.
  • Glutamine's Acoustic version of Lynne
  • Although Acme Iku's version of Namae no Nai Uta/Nameless Song wouldn't be called "good" by usual standards, there's something about her unusual voice, combined with the lyrics and background music, that makes it strangely beautiful. It can also be a tearjerker if you consider how Iku is usually used--the song can be interpreted as her lamenting her unhappy life (for those who aren't familiar with the song, it's about a person sitting alone in a room, singing a song that nobody else will ever hear).
  • Ritsu's cover of -ERROR. Holy cupcakes.
  • The songs "Hope," "Lost Story," and "Palette" have already been listed, and are appropriately so, but then Yuyoyuppe went and remixed them all into a mega-fuckton of amazing. This tropette's body was not ready.
  1. and translations
  2. Whilst VY1 supposedly has No Biological Sex with the intent to be used for both male and female vocals... no-one appears to have done much with this and nearly all 'her' songs are the 'female' voice
  3. This is a lesser known series
