The dub makes a radical decision to apply the stereotypical, pretty offensive accents for each respective country, something that ADR directors usually try to avoid. This, along with the changes made by the translators that introduced new jokes, insults, and odd voices, resulted in some new memes, such as:

  1. ↑ From this really bad fic where Lithuania is a weepy and whiny Sympathetic Sue uke, Russia is a Complete Monster Bastard Boyfriend, and Poland is an uber-perfect Relationship Sue with the typical "healing cock".
  2. ↑ Crack shipping of Himaruya and the creator of Homestuck, Andrew Hussie. Popularized by artists Tannanana and Sclez on Tumblr. After another Tumblr user, himapapaftw, informed Hussie of the crack pairing by providing a link to the Hussieruya blog, many fans rushed to Himaruya's inbox to send him the same link. He has yet to respond.
  3. ↑ Meme stemming from this picture of Romano in a grandma costume for Halloween.
  4. ↑ In the new update of the Christmas Event (aka the 2011 Bloodbath), Austria gets tired of walking and Germany offers him his back to sit on. This branched out into fans pasting pictures of the characters onto the names of objects that sound like their name (example: "brussia", "cubacle", "austreea", etc.) and has become a meme in almost no time flat.
  5. ↑ A minor meme on Tumblr, it came from a comment left by a member of the series's Hate Dumb on an anti-Hetalia stamp on Deviant ART. The comment found it's way onto dumbdeviantart, a popular blog that's Exactly What It Says on the Tin, and became a bit of a joke among fans on Tumblr.
  6. ↑ Refers to a bad fanfiction full of horrendous grammar and spelling where England turns America "britis" by raping him.
  7. ↑ A common response to any fanart of Russia/China
