LOLA

• Here's an interesting use of Lola in the song Be My Baby by muzehack.
  • Another interesting song using Lola by muzehack again, Take My Hand.
• Double Melody, her own version of Double Lariat, could use a bit more polish, but is a very solid Lola song.
• Existence. Probably LOLA at her best.
• Feel the Pain has a nice beat to it, and it's probably the best song telling me to "Feel the Pain".
• It's very unusual to hear Lola sing a higher range, listen to this cover of Fly me to the Moon.
• Though not really much of a Vocaloid song, it is a very popular Japanese song using Lola, Meditational Field from the 2006 Japanese Anime Film Paprika.
• Anarobik's My Time pushes LOLA close to, if not right up to, her full capabilities. The vocals are even better than they are Existence, and that's saying something.
• Lola's cover of 'Want You Gone' shows that she can still shine with the right song.

LEON

• Leon works well with Daft Punk covers, see his version of Digital Love by Daifuku-P
• Leon's A cappela of The Longest Time is just adorable!
• Muzehack's original song using Leon: Right By Your Side.

MIRIAM

• Eulogy for Abel is a beautiful, melancholy song.
• Here's a well-made rendition of Fly Me to The Moon by Miriam.
• Miriam's Ice Field is a catchy club song.
• Most of Puffihn's works are amazing. Secret Space deserves a special mention though.
• Sunset, another beautiful Miriam song composed by Puffihn.
• Miriam's cover of When The First Love Ends is very soothing and really fits the mood of the song.

MEIKO

• Any MEIKO song made by Shigotoshite-P, Shut-P and Yuukiss. Those 3 aren't called "Legendary MEIKO Masters" for nothing.
• Her perfectly understandable English cover of Amazing Grace. Yes, that's MEIKO singing. And yes that is V 1 MEIKO, not the V3 one. Your head exploding yet?

• Her cover of Gekokujou is just amazing! Complete with it's own PV and an appearance of her other personas (Sakine Meiko and her genderbend Meito).
• Get Lost is a pretty catchy song.
• Her cover of Look This Way Baby, complete with an amazing PV.
• Her cover of Love is War is one of the best ones I've heard. It actually sounds like she's heartbroken!
• Her cover of the OPM Maging Sino Ka Man by various artists. Her Tagalog is rather good.
• Moonlight Children is the most creative and professional uses of MEIKO's voice I have ever heard.
• Meiko's voice is perfectly suited to cover Mozaik Role, and sounds great with Kaito singing with the chorus.
• Noise has a very good beat to it.
• Nostalogic with nice live action dance video.
• Opera may not be the genre Meiko was made for, but her cover of O Mio Babbino Cara is simply amazing.
• The One Who Loved a Demon. Love this song.
• This song shows the more seductive side of Meiko, Piano x Forte x Scandal which is composed by the well-known OSTER Project.
  • Here's another version, using her append voicebank.
• Poem Weaved in Ruins. She's never sounded so real.
• Red Devil
• Red Reflection
• Meiko's cover of Rolling Girl. It starts off awesomely, with the consistently wonderful tuning of Ryousuke-P in Meiko's higher octaves, but then you get halfway through the song and WAIT IS SHE SINGING ALL THE VERSIONS OF ROLLING GIRL? YES and it is AWESOME.
• Her cover of Romeo and Cinderella is pretty impressive.
• Her cover of Senbonzakura is, in this troper's opinion, better than the original.
• Impressive human-like tuning, a lovely melody and a very beautiful PV. Three things that are rarely found in any Meiko song. Snow Rabbit happens to be one of the few songs to fit those requirements.
• The Thought To Tell, in addition to being an amazing tear-jerker, is just beautiful, as well as the PV.
  • It's counterpart song, from the bride's point of view, is just as sad. It's called the Cradle of Destiny.
• Twilight Homicide Song
• Her cover of Uninstall is just as, probably even more, awesome as the original.
• Various Feelings is a personal favorite.
• Yomi Zakura

KAITO

• The original mu-cho Remix of Alice is soothing, but Kaito's cover makes the vocals even more so.
• Time Forgotten One combines a nearly completely human sounding Kaito with a great storyline and hauntingly beautiful music. What else do you need for an awesome song?
• Black Moon is a song by Machigerita-P so if you're aware of his work, listen to it and you know you shouldn't be surprised by this horror-esque, storytelling song.
• "Finite Magician" and related song "Unfading Flower" combine a genius story line and nearly-human tuning, as well as awesome instrumentals.
• Flower Tail. Another example of how beautifully Kaito can pull of those "exotic-sounding" songs.
• Houraihua/Houraika tells a sad story while using Kaito's voice brilliantly.
• Judgement of Corruption can and will get stuck in your head. No exception.
• His cover of Len's imitator is on par with if not superior to the original.
• Cantarella is a classic.
• Fragments of Memories
• Song of Battle. beautiful song + awesome PV = win.
• Byakkoya no Musume is a cover of the ending song of Paprika by Bucchigiri-P. Gives the oft-abused Kaito dignity and make him sound perfectly human in the process.
  • Kaiko's version managed to make it awesomer once you get past the somewhat chiptuney opening it becomes almost aria-like.
• It seems to be a universal rule that all vocaloids must at one point cover "Dancing Samurai". Difference with Kaito's version is that he does it in acapella. Kaiko's is awesome in its own right.
• "Garden of Mother is something of a Tear Jerker and a wonderful story (despite a dissatisfying ending).
• Heartrate#0822, a Miku cover of Kaito's.
• His cover of The Island Song is very good as well.
  • You should hear his original voice actor Naoto Fuunga's cover.
• Jewel is one of the more real-sounding Kaito songs.
• His cover of Last Night, Good Night is probably one of the best ones.
• "Let's Kiss, Hiding In A Car", a beautifully melancholy song by Kaito.
• And for those who can't get enough Kaito, here's a well executed version of "Love 1000%" sung by... six Kaitos.
• Kaito's Japanese cover of Memory from the musical Cats is just beautiful.
• For fans of Deco*27, I give you Mozaik Role, covered by Kaito.
• There is a reason that the "Nii-san no Honki" tag exists on Nicovideo, and Pane Dhiria is a good demonstration of that.
• Melt, Kaito's cover of the song.
• Another Kaito cover of Miku's, and just as good/creepy: Musunde Hiraite Rasetsu to Mukuro.
• Kaito's cover of Rolling Girl is amazing. Not only is he doing a Wowaka song justice, he's also covering the rap version simultaneously.
• Sayang makes Kaito's voice so robotic, real, and exotic at the same time.
• Song of the Clocktower and it's remix for Kaito's birthday in 2011, Verse of the Clocktower.
• This cover of A-ha's Take On Me has quite a following, despite Kaito's thick accent.
• Thousand Year Solo is also a good reason why people like using him for more exotic songs.
  • The KAITO Append version of the song gives this troper goosebumps. GOOSEBUMPS. FROM A SYNTHETIC VOICE.
• To You. It's hard to believe Kaito was capable of sounding so well all along.
• Tutelary of Water is a heartwrenching song that Needs More Love
• Two-Faced Errors, Kaito's parody of Ura Omote Lovers, where the theme is changed to the serious problems with computers (such as viruses). To add to the pun, the background music consists entirely of Microsoft Windows sound effects.
• Kaito is not the first Vocaloid one pictures when thinking of "Disgustingly cute and happy poppy songs," but even he can be sugary-sweet at times. Proof? U-Nya-Pu, a song so adorable it has mewing kittens in its background music. It's downright cuddly.
• What's COLOR? is a beautiful, heart-rending song by Shinjou-P, who is well-known for her Kaito works.
• "WHITE NIGHT" is a cover done by Konki-P. Best example of English done by a Japanese Vocaloid I've heard.
• When I Get Home My Wife Always Pretends To Be Dead. Admit it, you already want to click on it just from the title!
• World's End Dancehall (Kaito Version)

Sweet Ann

• Sweet Ann's cover of Boulevard of Broken Dreams by Green Day.
• Everlasting Love by Sweet Ann is a short but awesome song.
• Not many Vocaloids can claim to have dubbed Miku's 'Last Night, Good Night' on the same level as Miku originally sung it. Sweet Ann is now one of the Vocaloids who can.
• Sweet Ann is regarded as the best of Engloids, and one of the best uses of her voice is seen in Giuseppe's use of her in Let It Be.
• Love is War Sweet Ann's version, is very good if I don't say so myself, and really shows what she's capable of when used right.
• Sweet Ann's cover of Meltdown Hard R.K. mix is just awesome. There's no other way to describe it.
• This english cover of Rolling Girl. Not only does push Ann to her limits, she manages to sound almost exactly like the original while doing so!
• Many people often critize Sweet Ann's english pronunciation, but this cover of Still Alive shows that she can sing in english just as well, if not better then any other engloid when used right. (Lola humming along at the end is also pretty adorable too.)
• Sweet Ann's original intention, according to PowerFX, was to sound 'sassy'. However, the song Succubus goes a little over that and straight to 'sexy'.
• Sweet Ann Sweet Ann★Burning Night Is a little hard to understand because of the fast pased nature of the 'night' song series, but is still a great cover of Lily's version.
• She can pull off Want You Gone just as well.

Hatsune Miku

• 1/6 was heart warming.
• Her cover of Green Day's 21 Guns (humorously nicknamed 21 Leeks), with rather good English.
• Her cover of King Crimson's 21st Century Schizoid Man, though being the type of song it is, the vocals only take place in a fraction of the song.
• 6900000000 is the current number of human population.
• A non-Japanese song covered by Hatsune Miku worth mentioning: Nena's 99 Luftballoons - Miku sounds almost convincingly German here.
• Afterglow A really warm and calming song.
• Ako'y Nasaktan ("I'm Hurt"), an original Tagalog melancholy song about the pain of a broken heart, by the same composer of "Let's Party Tonight" and "Sa Piling Mo" above.
  • Now with an MMD style Music Video.
• ALICE iN BLACK MARKET, which uses Miku's Solid and Power Append banks to create a heavy yet catchy song. There's no consensus what it's about, but it seems to be about her mentally dominating a guy for sex.
• Anger (PV Edit) by Tripshots.
• Aquarium of the Sky
• Treow does it again with ARCA, a catchy House song based around Peter Pan.
• ARiA, the continuation to SPiCA, is a beautiful song with a professional-level PV.

• Be My Sacrifice. Sometimes, Miku-rock works.
• Black Nativity Festival. A peppy, rockin' Miku song that Needs More Love.
• Black Rock Shooter has a beat that makes you want to stand up and cheer, it's easily one of the greatest classics.
• While chilling to the bone, Blue Ice Castle is beautiful.
• Bokyaku Alice, a rockin' Miku song with awesome guitar solos galore.
• Boss Death
• Candy is an upbeat and lively pop song. Another different song, also named Candy, is a relaxed jazzy song, with a NSFW picture of Miku clad in a Modesty Bedsheet.
• Her cover of Kyary Paymu Paymu's Candy Candy. Amazing tuning of her Append Solid bank to make her sound quite different and quite human.

• And now, her cover of the classic hit Can't Help Falling in Love, with Surprisingly Good English. And never has the Elvis Presley song sounded so cute.
• Can't I Even Dream? is a very beautiful and touching song.

• Chemical inversion by Clean Tears, master of Vocaloid trance music.
• Her cover of the Japanese rendition of John Denver's Country Road, which served as the OP of Whisper of the Heart.
• Christmas Morgue is kinda sad once you realize what that dark dude is, but it is still a beautiful song.

• Connect, originally by Claris, makes awesome use of her dark append and sounds EXTREMELY realistic, almost exactly like the original.
• The Disappearance of Hatsune Miku. Sure, she may be a computer program, but still, singing that fast for that long is pretty impressive nevertheless.

• Dahil Tanging Ikaw (Because It's Only You), her cover of Jaya's OPM.
• Cover of Daytona - Let's Go Away (Daytona USA soundtrack). As a bonus, even the "Game Over" ditty was covered and thrown in at the end.
• Delusion Sketch is worth a look.
• Desert Wolf by Clean Tears.

• Drain, a song by ELECTROCUTICA that has a clean and professional edge to it, but blends that clinical precision perfectly with soothing rhythms and mind-melting beats along with catchy little piano tunes and very clear, sharp vocals. Those with weak hearts, you have been warned.

• Earth Song, a beautiful blending of all her append voicebanks.

• E-iRO Amazingly, this song is calm, somewhat sad, and a bit upbeat all at once. It's hard to explain.
• I bring you eight hundred, you bring yourself some tissues
• Electric Angel. The lyrics struck a chord with this Troper, and the rhythm always makes me want to dance.

• Easygoing Rider has a catchy tune and masterful use of Miku's voice.

• Far Away, by Clean Tears, the god of vocaloid trance.

• The Forgotten Song by whoo is absolutely beautiful. Miku's voice sounds great in it, and the indie-esque feel is something you don't find often with Vocaloid. For more eargasms, listen to KK's cover and a remix.
• Freely Tomorrow. Just... wow. This Troper's mouth literally fell open listening to it; it's so human-sounding.
• From Y to Y was (allegedly) made by someone named Yuma, to his ex-girlfriend whose name also started with Y. You can really feel for the poor guy...
• The Game Of Life has an addicting tune and a nice PV.
• The Gift From Princess Sleep-Bringer Mothy proves that he hasn't forgotten about the Seven Deadly Sins series with the release of this song, representing Sloth. Nemuri nasai kono GIFT de...
• Glow, a nice rock ballad with a dramatic theme about how Growing Up Sucks. And this variant takes it further with an MMD rendtion of a full rock band performing for Miku.
• God Slaying Machine shows that Miku can be absolutely epic.
• Goddess Of Spring. A very beautiful and haunting song featuring a wonderful animation of Miku playing the harp on a small island in the middle of a lake in a forest under the moonlight. And especially haunting is the ending where the camera views Miku's reflection in the water, but as it pans up, she and the harp are gone, leaving an empty seat. A somewhat low resolution CG version with English subtitles, but where Miku can be seen to be noticably breathing, can be viewed here.
• Hannyasingyou -hardcore-. Yes, that is a Buddhist chant sung by Hatsune Miku set to death metal . It is EPIC.
  • For the less hardcore music fans, Hannyasingyou Rock is a suitable alternative.
• Hayabusa, in homage to JAXA's Hayabusa Space Probe. At the end, you will need a tissue.
• Heart Breaker, with a great MMD featuring Miku jamming a guitar so amazingly.
• Heart Shooter is a very adorable song, with a very cute MMD PV.
• *HELLO, PLANET. A happy, upbeat song about robot Miku in post-apocalyptic world missing her dead master.
• "A Hero's Saga", an awesome song that needs an award for such a misleading title.
• Hirari, Hirari beautiful song, made with Append.
• Hope, ANOTHER epic Miku-rock by Yuyoyuppe.
• Houki-Boshi cover by Miku, with 3-D animation by Tripshots.
• Cover of Ronnie James Dio's Hungry For Heaven
• I Can Fly Though I Have No Wings, a beautiful and somewhat tear-jerking song.
• I Luv U, another english song featuring a very cute lovestruck Miku.

• I=Fantasy It was only a matter of time, Miku covered SeeU's demo songs, and in Korean too.

• [It's Not World's End] is about a girl who is about to commit suicide, and is saved by a boy/her romantic interest
• Kagerou Days is deceptively cute, until you hit the chorus and the rest of the song.

• Kagiribito is example of good append version
• Kami Kyoku has only been out since the beginning of this year, but it totally has that feel of a classic Vocaloid song. It's a shame this didn't get a huge popularity boom. I've loved it since it came out, and it... just makes the world feel right.
• Karakuri Pierrot is just absolutely heartbreaking.
• Kyrie Elesion by Okame-P/Calvi. The song is just a beautiful example of what Miku's voice can be, and it's quite sad, too.
• Laika, adding on to Space program tearjerkers.
• For something more on the "soft and flowing" side, try the beautiful Last Night, Good Night. It's melody is just outstanding.
  • And makes this troper cry every time, since the lyrics can be taken as a love song, or, depending on interpretation, a goodbye song.
• Leave in Summer, Yet You're in My Fluffthoughts. What's not to like? It's so catchy, and there are ADORABLE alpaca!
• Let's Party Tonight, another great example of Miku singing in clear English.
• LOL -lots of laugh- should be here!
• Lost And Found, a sasakure-P song with lovely meaningful lyrics and a great surrealist PV, which happens to make good use of Append Miku's sweet and dark voicebanks.
• Lost Story, an emotion-filled, and truly epic miku-rock that has to be one Yuyoyuppe's best.
• Love is War. The classics never get old.

• Her cover of Meltdown remixed into Trance style. Used in the Fire Pit scene at the end of Test Chamber 19 in the Vocaloid Edition MOD for Portal.
• Memory-Colored Melodic
• Meteor is a meaningful piece of music, with the lyrics relating to the earthquake in Japan last March.
• Mr. Wonderboy is an upbeat pop song, while Mr. Wonder is a slower song, but both are pretty awesome.
• Mrs. Pumpkin's Ridiculous Dream, because Hachi's songs haven't been listed enough yet.
• The Moon of the West River, a beautiful Chinese language ballad written by Japanese fan Solpie. Became controversial when some rabid xenophobic deziens bombarded it with a high dose of Hatedom merely from the use of the Chinese language on Hatsune Miku, forcing the author to take it down from his Nico Nico website before supportive fans could come to the rescue. Fortunately preserved in YouTube for all to enjoy.

• Cover of Celine Dion's My Heart Will Go On. Rather beautifully rendered.
• My Spiral, a jazzy Miku Append song.
• Nebula. Even without the amazing video, it would still qualify for this page.

• Parades makes you want to go out on an adventure.
• Palette World Breakdown has a major charm about it once you realize that the music was produced by CYTOKINE and Tsukimido who are usually associated with Touhou.

• This cover of Lady Gaga's "Poker Face" is probably one of (if not) the best efforts by anyone to make Hatsune Miku sing (and RAP!) in clear and understandable english.

• Rain Stain has Miku sounding rough, and the result is a song that's dark and forceful, and the beautiful back-up vocalist makes things sound even better.
• RayForce @ Miku-san, a cover of "G", the Stage 2 music from Ray Force. Silly lyrics aside, it's nothing short of amazing.
• Reflect. The entire message behind it is one big Crowning Moment of Heartwarming.
• Rolling Girl
  • This MMD video takes the title of the song to a much more literal sense. Also, you'd almost wonder how Miku could go though it unscaved.
• Her cover of Rihanna's Rude Boy. Emphasized by an image of Miku doing an Eyelid-Pull Taunt.
• Run, Miku's cover of one of SeeU's demos.
• RuRaRa, a catchy tune, also featuring an MMD video of instrument playing Vocaloids (including Kaito, Haku, and others on those instruments).
• S.E.K.N by Clean Tears, once again.
• Sa Piling Mo, a very catchy original Tagalog composition (from the same composer of "Let's Party Tonight"), which in fact also serves as the OP for the creator's other main project, "I Love Him", a fanmade TV sitcom style series featuring the Vocaloids themselves as cast members. • Saihate, also a classic.
  • I love Saihate but the full piano version reminds you of the true sadness the song holds, and the longing of the narrator for their lost love.
• Science Fiction Night. This troper would love some English lyrics, as the song just sounds so utterly awesome that the lyrics can't hurt it much. Great bass line and drums, plus Miku's voice is done amazingly.
• Secret Police
• Sekiranun Graffiti is supercell's latest song with a fully animated PV that truly makes you feel as if you are flying above the clouds.
• Senbonzakura is a song filled fighting spirit and has a beautiful PV to match.
• Shining Ray. Also a great tear Jerker
• Shotgun Lovers is extremely catchy and just plain awesome.
• Silence by Nayuta-P. An awesome trance track with a chilling feel. Used to great effect as a Boss Fight theme in this Vocaloid Edition MOD for Portal, as demonstrated here.
  • This troper made an Orbiter video about a spaceplane's journey to Mars.
• Her cover of Silver Bullet. An amazing manipulation of her Solid and Dark voicebanks to produce a very human sounding voice.

• Monochrome Film by otetsu is just fantastic. Made even better by the chorus.
• Paranoid Doll is the closest Gakupo has ever gotten to sounding like Gackt himself.

• ARPK seems like a great song with sub-par vocals. That is, it does until you realise said vocals were made with Luka's English voicebank and that it compliments the theme of a Tsundere Alpaca perfectly due to the softer tone of voice.

• Try Just Close Your Eyes. Anything by metal band MentaiRocker is excellent, heavy with great riffs. The softness in Luka's voice blends beautifully with the smooth distortion of the guitarwork. The choruses are just gorgeous, whereas the intros and verses contain a gritty, dirty guitar tone that just plain works with Luka's voice: opposites very much attract. Plus, this band has some of the best programming this troper's heard, with the only indications of her artificial nature - beyond the inhuman beauty of her voice - occuring when she sharply changes pitch.

• Amayadori. Even though Gumi's not sounding her best here, it's still a great and endearing song.
• American 60 is a very sweet song about Gumi seeing off her boyfriend on a train and sneaking some money in his pocket so he'll be forced to come back and repay her.
• Presenting Gumi's cover of Bad Apple!!. Some serious Lyrical Dissonance, but still awesome.
• Born Coward
• Campanella. Make sure you have a box of tissues next to you before watching.
• Her cover of Candy Candy has been praised to be better than the original!
• Carnival features a maniacal GUMI. The song itself is catchy too.
• Coward Mont Blanc is just plain amazing in the excecution of Gumi's voice. The only drawback is that it's difficult to get the emotion across until the end, when it hits you with the real meaning of the song.
  • That isn't even a drawback, really. It just makes the ending hit that much harder.
• Cut-Off Line, a melancholic yet catchy song about how hard it is to throw away the feelings for a past love. The trumpets are what makes this song a worth listen. Also, is done by 40m, one of the few people out there who can make GUMI sound almost completely human.

• Sequence of Love is a nicely done song about a young idealistic girl who tries to get into a relationship but finds out that reality is harsh teacher.
• Shanghai Electro is certainly unique.
• Sheep Sleep Sheep, a funny song which implies having trouble sleeping. Part of the song's charm is the PV, showing Gumi having a HUGE collection of goggles.
• Sorry For Being A Closet Otaku, another funny song by Gumi about being an otaku, and getting found out by people she did not expect: her male classmate, whom she meets at a cosplay convention while being a cosplayer herself when he wants to take a picture of her, and later her father, whom she meets at a Maid Cafe where she works, and he's her customer. She gets both of them to keep it a secret.
• Striped Melody is a very cute song; made amazing seeing as it is probably the happiest song penned by UTSU-P.
• It may be hard to imagine a Yandere Gumi, but Sunset Love Suicide proves otherwise.
• Sweet Float Flats is pretty upbeat and cute. Then it got weird.
• Taking Shelter From The Rain, another tragic love song about meeting a boy she likes after taking shelter from the rain and getting close to him, but then he dies at the end.
• Ten-Faced is a completely addicting Gumi song about her acting like other people after having her heart-broken, which leads to her crush thinking she has multiple personality disorder. Or something like that. It also sounds cool. It's odd, but awesome.
  • And with the advent of GUMI V3, we have Ten-Faced -colorful version-.
• That's Not Enough, a very cute song by Gumi with Kaito, Len, and Gakupo providing a Du-wop style backing chorus.
• Time Warped After Chopping My Beetle is a bit of a mouthful, and the beginning of the song is pretty weird; but the ending is just so heartwarming and has a very valuable message.
• Traveler is upbeat and Needs More Love
• Try to live slow and awesome song.
• Two Seconds Time is an awesome bit of music.
• [uncertain Happines] surely this song Needs More Love.
• Waltz for Stranger is a beautiful, calming demo for Whisper Extend.

Sonika

• aiSeNMa is quite possibly the best use of Sonika I have ever heard. Not only are her pronouncations strong and easy to understand, she actually has quite some power behind her voice unlike so many other songs that use her.
• Sonika sounds awesome in the song Bahama Mama
• Sonika's cover of BPM is very sweet and plays on her streagths.
• Carry On by Sonika is by far the most 'real' sounding Sonika song that this troper has heard from her so far.
• Cassandra is a very nice Sonika original about the Greek myth.
• People complain that Sonika sounds bad and glitchy but there are just gems like this original song Fade Away. The composer even showed how to make her sound decent.
• And here's Sonika's cover of Popipo as well.
• Press that Accelerator by Sonika, like the above song, is up beat despite it's shortness.
• Scenery by Sonika is very up beat despite being on the short side.
• Sonika's cover of Carpenters' Top of the World is rather nicely made, and the mood is enhanced by a very cute drawing of Sonika.
• Also, her cover of Where Have You Been?. Let's just say that Circus P wins engaloids forever.

Hiyama Kiyoteru

• Cover of Styx's Babe, in three editions depending on the backing vocals (and other features):
  • Classic edition, with Kiyoteru doing all the vocals.
  • Mellow edition, with Haku Yowane on backing vocals.
  • Cute edition, with Miku Hatsune and Luka Megurine on backing vocals.
• Beautiful Vegetable, a song about vegetables (though the background image shows some of the band members with fruits instead). Possibly Ice Mountain's answer to PoPiPo. Features some funny use of Engrish as well. Interesting to note that in the official Ice Mountain artbook, one of the band's members (Akito Hiyama, guitarist and green grocer owner) suggested a song with lyrics based on fruits and vegetables but his idea was shot down by the others. Perhaps this serves a Take That?
• Brilliant EVE
• Chain by Ayuciki, which begins with a nice saxophone intro, then simply showcases Kiyoteru's vocalizations done well. It also has a nice PV.
• His cover of the Cutey Honey Theme Song, complete with a Crossdressing Kiyoteru (red wig included).
• Delete, a funny song where Kiyoteru is portrayed as a creepy and jealous Stalker with a Crush (though it is not clear between Kaito and Meiko as to who his target of affection is), and at some points in the PV, gets redrawn into The Big Guy with Scary Shiny Glasses.
• His cover of David Pomeranz's Got to Believe in Magic
• GTK!? (Great Teacher Kiyoteru!?), a catchy song with some rather good engrish and possibly loaded with quite a lot of Shout Outs (one of which should be obvious enough in the title).
• Guilty Verse, apparently the more popular songs don't even have him doing his teacher gig. This song is especially notable for his realistically creepy scream at the end, something very hard to achieve with any vocaloid.
• Haijitsu is a very good metal song for the likes of Kiyoteru.
• His cover of Jimmy Jones'/James Taylor's Handyman, with Miku and Gumi on backing vocals.
• His cover of Hope.
• The Ice Mountain Theme, which is Exactly What It Says on the Tin.
• If You're Not Here Once again showing off Peperon P's genius at using Kiyoteru.
• Despite the fact that his voice is a bit too high in this song, Jewelfish has a nice and catchy rhythm.
  • And here's another version of Jewelfish whose PV is a live action video performed by vocaloid cosplayers. Included there are Megurine Luka, Lily, and SF-A2 Miki, all being charmed by Kiyoteru.
• Koi no Kayoubi, another song with a crossdressing Kiyoteru (and apparently a live Fan Girl audience that loves him for it).

• Light Emitter Rudy, a Christmas song by Miki, is extremely adorable and will get you into the spirit of Christmas in no time.
• Lolwat is just another reason people miss Matt9five.
• Her cover of Love is War
• Miki's Feelings. Prepare for some cuteness overload, especially when she says her name.

• Satellite is a pretty awesome song that captures her alienness.

• Yuki's cover of Les Misérables Castle on a Cloud may be one of the best, most natural-sounding English pieces ever produced by a Japanese Vocaloid.

• Good Night To Your Older Brother is a very sweet song about a little girl's love for her caring older brother (as in a genune brother-and-sister love, with none of the incest issues). One of the most beautiful performances by Yuki.

  • Here's another version with Kaito providing bass vocals.
• innocent girl, and Anniversary Place. Kagome-P has a great variety of Yuki songs.
• Invisible Cockpit
• Her cover of Love is War. Her very cute voice can sound really strange here to those who are familiar with the song's theme.
• meteor36.0 is one of the best made Yuki songs, and it's quite upbeat.
• MUTEKI SHOUJO:99 does have some pitching issues in the chorus, but it's a great earworm and is really fun to sing along to.
• PNDR (a song that's been noted to have a similar style to Massive Attack)
• Her cover of Ren-Ai Circulation, with a very adorable rap sequence too.
• Sleep on the Melonpan
• Her cover of Still Alive from the game Portal. Amazingly good english too. Bonus points for a modified Portal logo that looks like it was modelled after Yuki.
• A Thief Comes and a Butterfly Dances is a marvelous Yuki song with Rin doing backup.
• Her cover of Wash My Blood (potential Nightmare Fuel).
• The World Will Completely Change in a Mere Moment is a beautiful somber song with relaxing guitar tunes. The mood is enhanced by an artwork of a very somber looking Yuki playing the guitar.
• Kyouka*99 is an adorable, catchy song...about the world ending and the boxes they were assigned to put their belongings in, with Yuki wondering what to put inside hers.

Big Al

• Beat Beat Tick Tick by Big Al is one of the few original Engloid songs out there and his voice really fits the mood of the song.
• Yet another amazing cover by Big Al; Boats and Birds.
• In contrast to Big Al's reputation of being an Adult Child and thus being commonly associated with upbeat, fun, or just plain funny songs, his cover of Simon & Garfunkel's Bridge Over Troubled Water is quite beautiful.
• Fr@cture is another awesome original song by Big Al.
• Of course there's Big Al's cover of Rebecca Black's Friday. A definitive and hilarious case of So Bad It's Good, its YouTube video actually got tons of likes over dislikes, as opposed to the Rebecca Black original.
• Another amazing use of Big Al to cover a classic: he gives Stevie Wonder's I Just Called To Say I Love You a very 50's feel.
• If this cover of Right Said Fred's I'm Too Sexy doesn't demonstrate just how Rated "M" for Manly Big Al's voice can be, I don't know what would.
• Ditto with his cover of John Lennon's Imagine.
• Big Al's cover of Frank Sinatra's New York New York could potentially give Sinatra himself a run for his money.
• On the Earth by Big Al is an awesome song about Big Al singing about world peace that also shows off his new Taiwanse voice banks at the sametime.

• The light hearted mood of B.J. Thomas' Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head seems to make for a very good Big Al cover.

• From That Radio was created as a response to the 2011 earthquake and tsunami in Japan. It's extremely touching.
• It seems like Iroha should just be delegated to singing Yuki Kajiura works from now on - here's her cover of Hikari no Senritsu.
• For the hell of it, let's throw in some Obsession.
• Iroha's cover of Life Goes On

• Neko Neko Super Fever Night
• Another rather amazing piece of work: cover of Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up".

• Her cover of Song of Eared Robot gives a more oriental spin on the song and it works so well with her voice.

• Tsugai Kogarashi is an epic duet made by Shigotoshite P, originally sung by Kaito and Meiko. Iroha's version is just as awesome (the lyrics are tweaked for a solo version).
• There are few female Vocaloids with the depth to cover Uninstall like Meiko did, but Iroha managed it. You're welcome.

Piko Utatane

• His cover of Dear You also puts his uniqe voice to work in the best possible way.
• Do you hear this? a little rough at some parts, but still a very good original song for him.
• His cover of Jenga is also wonderful.
• His cover of 40mP's Karakuri Pierrot makes very good use of vibrato.
• Kimi no Uta (Your Song) is a very smooth melody that that blends with his voice very nicely.
• His cover of Love Is War fits his voice so perfectly, you'd swear the song was made for him.
• His cover of Lynne is frickin' amazing.
• His cover of Pantsu Nugero Mon, done in acapella, tweaked acoustics, and with water effects to make it seem as if he's Singing in the Shower.
• Piko's Feelings. Just about the same deal as Miki's Feelings.
• Piko ga Uninstall sounds wonderful for some reason.

• Play of Color makes very good use of his voice, almost sounding like the real Piko at some points.

• Before his release, Oliver got actually got a suprisingly large ammount of positive reception for an Engloid, with many saying he just might be one of the best english Vocaloids created. His cover of Silent Night pretty much hammers this home, and just in time for the holidays as well.
• His cover of Song of Healing is a very excellent use of his voice.
• Like wise, his cover of You were there is another exceptional use of his voice. (Warning: the video contains Ico spoliers.)

• Her cover of B.I.N.G.O.
• Her cover of Mozaik Role, in which she sounds almost humanlike.

• Setsugetsuka, not to be confused with a song of the same title from Vana N'Ice. A stunning evaluation of Yukari's vocal qualities, not just in song but in speech. That's right—Yuzuki Yukari is talking on VOICEROID in the beginning.

• Dango Daikazoku in Spanish. Clara's softer voice is more suited for gentler, quieter songs.
• Más que Nada, an original song for Clara. It's a rather cute love song.

• Calalini, a cover of hers.
• Freesia, an extremely calming song from IA.
• The Embedded Blue has got IA on nice dubstep.
• Garden of Rain, a very beautiful and emotional song.
• Headphone Actor was the first time this troper heard IA, and it took about midway through the song to realize it wasn't a person singing.
• Imagination Forest, by the same producer of Headphone Actor, is a lighter song but still has a heartfelt story.
• Insania Argenti. She sounds really good at opera!

• Halloween Requiem by the Engloids. Who said they weren't awesome?! Extremely catchy and a bit nightmarish, if not a bit unintelligable at times. Having the Japanese Vocaloids as the demons was a creative touch.

• This cover of Fullkawa-P's song Alice, here covered by Luka and sweet!Miku.
• The duet version of Butterfly On Your Right Shoulder, it's just as great if not better than the solo versions.
  • To add onto that, there's the chorus version of it. It's an eargasm.
• Cendrillion as covered in Spanish by Bruno and Clara.
• In Dance of Snow in the Heavens Miku and Luka team up again to present this super catchy duet
• "Dark Woods Circus" may be mostly in it for the Nightmare Fuel, but it still has a beautifully tragic melody.
• Every Heart blends Piko and Len's voices together so flawlessly, there's just no way to describe it.
• GUMI and Luka's Happy Synthesizer stayed up in the charts in Japan for weeks. It's super catchy, and, well, happy.
• And continuing with the unusual combinations, Meiko and Iroha's Harmonia.
  • Dead Foresta plays in the same vein.
• Higashi no Akatsuki Nishi no Tasogare is a great duet by Kaito and Meiko made by Shigotoshite-P.
• Hitorijime! summer*girl. Imagine going on a lovely beach date with Kaito, Gakupo, Len, and Kiyoteru.
  • In a similar vein, there's Your Highness☆My Princess and Indomitable Power.
  • Also, Brilliant Diamond and Borderline and Innocent.
• Kokoro was mentioned in Rin/Len's section, but this mix, "KOKORO+ KOKORO KISEKI, tops it.
• Miku and Kaito singing Last Night, Good Night.
  • This version of Last Night, Good Night by Miku and Kiyoteru, and this one by Luka and Kiyoteru.
• magnet is a song about forbidden love. This, the original, is sung by Miku and Luka, though there seems to be one for every conceivable pairing. Including Kaito and Kaito.
  • One of the latest installments pairs Kaito and Aoki, and somehow having the two of them the same size. It's up to you to decide whether Kaito shrunk or Aoki grew to human size (though likely the former, given how high he sings).
• Miku and GUMI's Matryoshka. Super catchy, a little bit crazy, a teensy bit creepy, 100% amazing.
• Nakimushi Kareshi cover by Iroha and Piko is just beautiful. Not only is it one of the most realistic sounding Vocaloid songs this Troper has ever heard, but it is quite possibly the closest Piko has come to sounding like the real Piko yet.
• Gakupo and Kiyoteru's Nyouwaku.
• The Pair Tree Wither-er is an absolutely beautiful duet between Kaito and Meiko.
• Perfect Crime, featuring Len and Luka.
• Platinum Romance sung by Miku, Miki, and Yuki is as good as it is adorable.
• This Psychopath cover by Kiyoteru and Big Al is very well done and one of the few songs that uses both a Japanese and English Vocaloid that doesn't try to force one of them to sing in the other languge.
• Snow in Bethlehem sung by Luka Megurine and Kaai Yuki. A heartwarming Christmas song.
• Add The Summer I Can't See You to the list as well. Just goes to show how one could potentially form a successful Boy Band with a big Fan Girl follwing as a result.
  • And yet another one, Flowers Bloom in The Night Sky Please Summer!.
• Kaito and Meiko's cover of A Whole New World from Disney's Aladdin is pretty much indistinguishable from real singing. If you listen closely, you can even hear them catching breaths between phrases.
• World End's Dancehall. A song about dancing at the end of the world (and insulting dancing). Really catchy, as well.
• Miku and Rin team up for House of Rainy Dreams, an ethnic tale of two ladies in a house of ill repute in medieval Japan. May take residence in your brain and then refuse to leave.
• Miku and Mikuo's Hikari. It's quite a Tear Jerker and it Needs More Love.
• Reverse Rainbow is another great Miku and Rin duet.
• Knife by Miku, Len and Rin is awesome. The professionally made PV made it's even more awesome.
• This troper would like to add "Blame of Angel" , a just plain AWESOME duet of Lily and Luka.
• Lady Face by Gumi and Luka shot up to the top charts in Japan for reason. A very good reason.
• Pygmalion features Len as the eponymous king of Cyprus and Luka as a positively gorgeous Galatea. Their voices blend beautifully together.
• What would be the result of using 7 different vocaloids in a single song? well, "Mr. Music" would be the result. An awesome one as well.

• Secret After School is a both awesome and catchy piece featuring 9 Vocaloid girls (with VY1 / Mizki included in final chorus). There's something satisfying hearing a Morning Musume-esque song, Yuki sings scandalous lyrics aside.
• Kaito and Miriam's Paganism is incredibly good and Needs More Love.
• Alice in Musicland: A wondrous 11-minute Musical featuring about 6 different songs and featuring Miku, Rin, Len, Kaito, Luka, and Meiko.
• This cover of ABBA's Dancing Queen by Big Al, Sweet Ann, Megurine Luka, and Tonio.
• Hatsune Miku and Kagamine Rin team up to cover All I Have To Do I Dream by the Everly Brothers. The result is actually very cute.

• A Vtech NO combines Luka and Len to give us Free

• If We Meet Again, sung by Kaito and Meiko, is a song about two childhood friends reminiscing about each other.
• Ah, It's a Wonderful Cat's Life by Gumi and Len, it's really catchy and upbeat, and overall very cute
• Prapare to be blown off by the awesomeness of Gumi and Iroha covering That is Me from Rebecca the Musical. A duet that so godly and well made but Needs More Love.
• Zutto, Zutto is one of the best sounding songs out there, featuring a nigh human-sounding Meiko, Kaito, Miku, Rin, and Len. It's also one of the few videos featuring more than one character that completely averts Shipping; the entire cast just seems like one big, happy family.
• Go Google It., with Gakupo and Luka. Sweet, adorable, and ridiculously catchy.
• If you like cute child couple parings, here are Gachapoid (in human form) and Yuki teaming up to cover Magnet and Just Be Friends.

• Boss Death, covered by the Valshe, is better than Miku's in this troper's opinion (especially the PV).

• This cover of "The Disappearence of Hatsune Miku" first stuns you that the singer is able to even keep up with the insanely fast tempo. Then you hit 1:44 and you're left gasping from the sheer emotion.
• Emnily. Particuly her Russian dubs of Love is War and Mozaik Roll.
  • There's also a mix of her acapella version of Love is War paired with the piano version, giving the song a distant, somber twist.
• Valshe's version of Mase Lenka. This troper thought that her being of the opposite gender would take away from the awesomeness of the original. It doesn't.

  • Choco & Valshe's version of Dreamy Cherry Blossoms is beautiful. I'd call it better than the original.
• Owata-P and cosMo cover Matryoshka. Yes, that is CosMo on the right, doing that adorable falsetto. His voice really is as adorable as people say! Owata-P isn't too shabby either.
• Akiakane's cover of Out of Eden. (Amazingly, she also did the PV.)

• Depression of the Young Literati is originally sung by Miku, but when you hear Hokke's version you know it was made for him to sing.

• The whole Evil series, Servant of Evil in particular is an incredibly touching, tear jerking song.

  • It's a brilliant, brilliant series, all the songs are beautiful, the story is terrifying, and speaking of which, watch out for serious Nightmare Fuel. Dark Woods Circus in particular is simply wonderful.
• The "Dr. Realist" (I do not know if the series has an official name but bear with me now.) by cosMo is a mix of philosophy, scary, and just plain awesome. Here's the list in what I believe to be the story order.
  • Anti the Infinity Holic serves as a sort of prelude to the series sung by Rin and Luka.
  • Runaway Boy and Lost Girl is...well, just that. At first, that is. A girl is looking for her friend who ran away from home a couple of weeks ago and is trying to find him; all the while fuming at how she is going to tell him off when she finds him. It gets worse.
  • The Lost Girl and The Meteor Gentleman itself is not music, but is vitally important to the story.
  • Nun and Idol Girl seems silly enough; a bored nun becomes an idol to make her life less boring. But, of course, this is cosMo.
  • And then the series ends with the titularDr. Realist.

Other

• Pane Dhiria is the original song by a breathy Kaito, which initially doesn't work for the type of song it really is. However, Teto's Rendition brings out the full power of the song better, and really helps the song around. In addition, the Nico Nico Chorus version makes the whole thing come out in full blossom, attacking the listener with the full capabilities of the song.
• Rolling Girl is just so bloody amazing I don't even.
  • Yet another version
    • English versions. They're a bit different, but the alterations ADDED to the epic win.
  • If you were wondering where Kaito got his neat rap skills from in that Rolling Girl cover, thank Tights-On (Taitson) for that.

• Luna Amane's cover of Goodbye One-Way-Heart is waay better than Miku's version. Despite UTAUs being famous for their mechanical sound, in this version it works just so well and gives the song new feeling.
• This might just be me being weird, but the Acapella Canon in D by Teto, Luna, Mako, and Ron turns the Classical piece into something out of a Nintendo piece. Is it corny to think that this is awesome? Yes. But is it cool considering? Hells yes.
• This Utau cover of Song of a Robot's Ear is awesome. Much like "Smiling" and "Mr. Music" this song uses an extensive amount of Utaus. You're thinking 7? More like 317. Yeah.
• Matsudappoiyo's cover of Stargazer is truly fantastic, especially considering how frickin' hard it was getting him to sound that amazing.

  • Actually, everything Glutamine sings is awesome. Yes, even if he forgets the lyrics half the time.
• Although Acme Iku's version of Namae no Nai Uta/Nameless Song wouldn't be called "good" by usual standards, there's something about her unusual voice, combined with the lyrics and background music, that makes it strangely beautiful. It can also be a tearjerker if you consider how Iku is usually used--the song can be interpreted as her lamenting her unhappy life (for those who aren't familiar with the song, it's about a person sitting alone in a room, singing a song that nobody else will ever hear).
• Ritsu's cover of -ERROR. Holy cupcakes.
• The songs "Hope," "Lost Story," and "Palette" have already been listed, and are appropriately so, but then Yuyoyuppe went and remixed them all into a mega-fuckton of amazing. This tropette's body was not ready.
