Vince McMahon, Jr. (Vincent Kennedy McMahon, Jr.)

• Abusive Father: Vince both exemplifies and is on the receiving end of this trope. In his "Mr. McMahon" persona, he acts the role. In Real Life, Vince has mentioned that his stepfather beat him, and if the man weren't dead already, he'd kill him himself.

Linda McMahon (Linda Marie Edwards-McMahon)

• Beware the Nice Ones: Arguably the sanest and most cool-headed of the McMahons, should you betray her (* cough* Vince and Stephanie), she will use all her power as CEO to make your life miserable.
  • In fact, Jim Ross didn't even see it coming when Linda both fired and kicked him in the balls in late 2005.
• Bunny Ears Lawyer: She has a Bachelor's of Science degree in Education, after all, not to mention running the business side of WWE for nearly 25 years. In 2010, she ran for Senate.

• High School Sweethearts: With Vince in Real Life.
• Liz Lemon Job: Babysit a bunch of muscular, not-entirely level-headed wrestlers, keep the company in financial order, and make sure her family (Vince in particular) doesn't screw it up. It really kind of sucks to be Linda sometimes.
• Long Bus Trip: All the time. Entire years go by where no one remembers she even exists or is the CEO. The longest bus trip is probably just starting, considering her Real Life resignation from WWE to make a bid one of Connecticut's senate seats.

Shane McMahon (Shane Brandon McMahon) 1990, 1998-2009

• Badass Normal: The son of the boss who can hold his own in the ring against trained wrestlers, and sometimes even win? Yeah, he qualifies.
• Brother-Sister Team: As owner of WCW during the Alliance storyline.
• Calling the Old Man Out: To Vince if they're not on the same side.
• Corrupt Corporate Executive: When he's a heel.
• The Dragon: To his father Vince McMahon when both are heels.
• Ensemble Darkhorse: Surprisingly, considering he's a McMahon. The guy gets cheers and chants even when he's just showing up for his father's off the air birthday celebration. Might have something to do with Sibling Yin-Yang, but it probably has more to do with his willingness to be thrown through glass and jump off Titantrons.
• Even Bad Men Love Their Mamas: Harming Linda is his biggest Berserk Button.

• Finishing Move: Both of his involve jumping from high places. The Van Terminator was hijacked from Rob Van Dam and modified with a trash can instead of a chair, and the Leap of Faith involves the complete destruction of the Spanish Announcers Table.

• Holy Shit Quotient: Any time Shane O'Mac steps into a ring for a No DQ/Hardcore/Street Fight-type match, the HSQ goes through the roof. Like the time he dropped an elbow from the top of the fifty foot high Titantron.

• How Much More Can He Take?: Pretty standard in Shane matches. His Street Fight with Kurt Angle in 2001 was a double How Much More Can He Take?, considering the spots with the glass.
• I Have the High Ground: Ranging from a simple turnbuckle to the top of the big-ass screen used as WWE's set, the Titantron. Jumping off high places is Shane's hat.
• Improvised Weapon: Uses a trash can for his Coast-to-Coast Van Terminator.

• The Cameo: She was a bird merchant in The Scorpion King, a film co-produced by WWE Films and stars The Rock.

Stephanie McMahon (Stephanie Marie McMahon-Levesque) 1999-2009

• Becoming the Mask: She and Triple H fell in love with each other during their storyline.
• Belligerent Sexual Tension: With Chris Jericho, so much so that the fanfic writers went bonkers. Every fangirl who ever wrote wrestling fic has a Smoochy Dreamer fic in her past.
  • What Could Have Been: They were actually supposed to get together onscreen, but it was shot down by Triple H.
• Bratty Teenage Daughter: Played it in her 20's, but played it straight.
• Brother-Sister Team: As owner of ECW during the Alliance storyline.
• Clingy Jealous Girl: Towards Triple H during her Heel run in the early 2000s.

First he had to read Orton well enough to know he wouldn't be willing to fight him in a sledgehammer vs. sledgehammer fight and would want both of them to drop their weapons. Then he had to be completely sure that Orton wouldn't ambush him right then and there. And then he had to be completely sure that no one would notice the spare sticking out in his jacket.

• Blond Guys Are Evil: As a heel.
• Blood Brothers: With the Kliq, but especially Shawn Michaels. God help you if you mess with Shawn Michaels and Triple H is around to witness it.
• Breaking the Fourth Wall: One of the most infamous examples in wrestling history, he's one of the four wrestlers who publicly said buh-bye to Kayfabe with the Curtain Call.
