Starlit Heroics/Characters/Main Cast
Some or all of these characters need descriptions. A list of tropes is not a description. Please provide at least a few words telling how these characters differ from other characters with the same tropelists. |
This concludes[please verify] of the main characters, such as the protagonist-class characters and other such people.
The Royal Family of Nintendria
- Royals Who Actually Do Something: Every prince, princess, queen, or king, dead or alive, has always been able to take care of their own problems, usually by working together or by themselves, which leads to...
- Badass Abnormal: There's a reason why they're considered the most powerful out of the eight kingdoms. And a damn good one at that.
- Badass Family: Oh, YES.
Daniel Xi Nintendria
The title protagonist of the series as a whole, and a Lazy But Brilliant bastard prince who usually gets to be the one who kicks the Deathmoon Family's ass. He's armed with a legendary weapon of the Lunardream Family, Oblivsugan, a claymore sword with a mind of its own, and his ability to wield it cements his status as The Chosen One. Daniel's kind of a jerk, but is a nice guy when you get to know him, and is actually sweet at times, never leaving behind a friend and even going back to help when everyone else has run away. However, for the love of god, never make him mad or threaten one of his family-- you'll regret it even after you die. While he can easily defeat the enemies, they can do the same to him and his own forces, which usually results in his loss, but he develops to get around that.
In reality, he is the reincarnation of the God of Absolute Balance himself, Ranthael, into a human. Therefore, he's the ruler of the Lunardream Family, and the ultimate hero of the story, with his battle with the Deathmoon Family getting much more deeper as time goes by.
- Absurdly Sharp Blade: Oblivsugan never dulls or snaps in half. Plus, it was designed to pierce even the skin of Deathmoon monsters, which are harder than steel.
- Accidental Pervert: Oh, boy. In the first story, he accidentally grabbed one of his sister's... chest buns while he was drowsy, and managed to get away with it.
- Angrish: Daniel doesn't handle things with subtlety most of the time, especially when mad.
- And I Must Scream: While a hero and gentleman at heart, he's up there with the villains in terms of psychoticism. Just ask his victims. Plus, he's really frightening when his emotions get tensed up, because that's when his alternate forms get released, which equals in a world of pain. (Sure, he can control some of them, but not all the time...)
- Ankle Drag: Done to him, and when the tables have turned, some of his enemies.
- Animal Motifs: Wolf.
- Author Avatar: He was based off of the creator in appearance, first name and some personality traits, but are overall different.
- Badass
- Badass Abnormal: Is easily the most powerful of the eight siblings, or hell, even the family.
- Badass in a Nice Suit: Well, he is royalty.
- Break the Cutie: While normally a very stable character mentally... everything that happens to him definitely takes its toll on him.
- Batter Up: He loves using this method when he has a blunt object.
- Bishounen
Danielle Ri Nintendria
Arcenia Rv Nintendria
The youngest of the eight siblings, but rivals her older brothers and sisters in terms of power. While naive and acts like a brat here and there, she is well-educated and disciplined. Arcenia is Legendary Knight Newclear, and therefore, she is more than capable of protecting herself, despite being only 10, and her powers are closely linked with the moon. She still has a lot to learn, however, and when dealing with an especially powerful enemy, she's not up to the challenge, oftenly relying on the help of her older siblings. She stands out compared the rest due to the fact that she is blind, but is also psychic, making up for it.
- Action Girl
- Animal Motifs: Rabbits.
- Annoying Younger Sibling: Kind of.
- Badass
- Little Miss Badass: She's only 10, and she can kick as much ass as her older brothers and sisters. It's also helps that she's both blind and psychic.
- Badass Adorable
- By the Power of Greyskull: "Newclear Power, Level Up!"
Bloodrain Ve Nintendria
Diana Ve Nintendria
Rosentia Su Nintendria
Zepheus fl Nintendria
Ares Re Nintendria
Immortalia ri Nintendria

Sayura Renshault
A beautiful Eurediem rabbit woman that serves as the caretaker of the eight siblings. To anyone else, it would just be a job to them-- but to her, she feels like she's actually part of the family. Because of that, she'll do anything in her power to make sure that the kids don't get harmed, even being willing to sacrifice her own life to protect them. This is probably rooted to her past, where her parents were murdered by Fenade spirits, which also burned down her house, leaving only her and her brother, Velasquez, alive. Ever since then, they've had to live with their creepy older uncle (who has probably done unspeakable things to her. It's not specified, but it seems she doesn't like him) and cousin, Vindelle, until Sayura was hired to be the caretaker for the siblings.
In reality, she is Hera, the Lunardream goddess of love, reincarnated as a mortal and holds a sacred weapon called the Soul Blade laser sword. Hera serves as the guardian of the entire family, alongside Juno and Starlight Melody.
- Action Girl
- Absolute Cleavage: Her set is huge, especially when compared to her clothes. But that's probably because the heart behind it is as big.
- Awesome McCoolname: Raise your hand if you would like to have Renshault as a last name.
- Alas, Poor Yorick: Daniel winds up holding her decapitated head in one story. She gets better, though.
- Badass: Considering she was a goddess in her former life...
- Beauty Is Never Tarnished: Seriously. Even after she died in one story and rose up as one of the undead, she looked exactly the same as she did when she was alive.
- Boobs of Steel: When she gets attacked, expect her to return the favor with interest.
- Buxom Is Better: She is considered one of the most beautiful women in-universe. Could be justified since she's a reincarnated love goddess, and has some of the quirks even in her mortal form.
- Blue Eyes
- Berserk Button: God help you should you piss her off, but the things that get her the most is threatening the siblings.
- Beware the Nice Ones
- Cool Big Sis: Her attitude towards the siblings.
- Combat Stilettos
- Dark and Troubled Past: Yet she still manages-- in fact, tries harder to be a brighter person than she was before.
- The Determinator: Probably one of the most famous examples in the series. She rises up from the dead, all to get back at the person who killed her and to make sure the siblings and everyone are safe. Awwwwwwww!
- Death Glare: Expect her to throw these at you if you're a suspicious person.
- Fun Personified
- Gamer Chick: She has skills.
- Genius Bruiser: A more petite version, but definitely not just looks with a nice smile. Her plan when she came back as a Ressurected proved that.
- Giant Waist Ribbon
- Hot Rabbit Chick With A Sword: A laser sword, no less.
- Evil Costume Switch: In her plan, she dresses much darker than her regular clothing and wears a black-shaded face cover so nobody would recognize her, considering she's been confirmed dead and buried. And she looks so good in it.
- Fetish Fuel Station Attendant: Oh, definitely.
- Heroes Prefer Swords: Soul Blade for the win.
- Heroic BSOD: Let's just say... when her parents were killed, she stopped functioning rationally for a while.
- Parental Abandonment
- Pimped-Out Dress: Her regular dress. The Evil Costume Switch invokes this even more.
- Petting Zoo People: Of the Eurediem rabbit variety.
- Off With Her Head: An accidental example, but one nonetheless. When she ducked in to protect Daniel, the rest was history.
- Mama Bear: Pretty much the reason why you shouldn't mess with the things she loves, considering what has already happened to her.
- Ms. Fanservice
- Mini-Dress of Power: Her normal clothes.
- Red Oni, Blue Oni: To Yurais.
- Super Speed: Well, she is a humanoid rabbit person.
- Team Mom: Even though the real mother is there, she's willing and able to be a part of the siblings lives.
- Wrong Guy First: The person she falls for in that one short story is nice, generous and generally liked by everyone. That is, until we are shown that the guy is the sole surviving member of a mafia that wants the holder of Arcedeaniel dead. And guess who that is? Needless to say, it gets bad after that, with Sayura getting involved in the mess.
- Why Did It Have To Be Dream-Entering Ghosts: Her attitude towards Fenades after the... incident.
- Zettai Ryouiki: One of many, no less.
Yurais Panteshi
A little sprite woman (the species she belongs to being called Jopples) who got lost from the place she lived in and wound up in Nintendria. She proved herself to be more than capable of protecting the place, and as such, serves a second mentor to the siblings, along with Sayura, even though Yurais criticizes her for her partial irresponsibility. She bonds to a cat called Archdonimus, who is coincidentally the god of nature, and uses him as a steed on regular occasions.
- Action Girl: Especially considering she's only tall enough to fit in someone's hand.
- Badass
- Little Miss Badass: Literally.
- Badass Adorable
- Cute Bruiser: Oh my god, she's so adorable and ti-- HOLY JESUS H. CHRIST, DID SHE JUST PUNCH OUT THAT MAN WITHOUT TRYING?!
- Hair Decorations: She wears bells on her hair.
- The Obi-Wan: She serves as a teacher to the siblings.
- Gamer Chick: Much like her counterpart, she has a hand in playing video games, considering she's big enough to stand on the controller.
- Lightning Bruiser: Her strength, combined with her size and speed, make her a force to be reckoned with.
- Miko: Heavily based off them.
- Super Strength: She can pick up a regular sized person with ease, and much more.
- Shout-Out: Her overall appearance, size and the fact she wears bells in her hair, is a reference to a certain persocom from Chobits.
- Red Oni, Blue Oni: She's the Red to Sayura's Blue.
Dakrixus Soulphas
A humanoid card person of recently unknown origin, who, with his sisters, his now-deceased brother and the rest of his companions, eventually became part of the Nintendrian Royal Family as the foundation of the new Card Knights squadron. He is known as the Joker of the eight, and is inarguably the most powerful out of all of them, carrying a crimson-red scythe. He sports vampiric traits, such as the ability to suck blood, long fangs, has a certain point of invulnerability/regeneration to him, stronger at night and is weak to the sun. However, he is protected by the Luna Gem that he wears on his hat, negating any of the effects the sun may have on him.
In reality, he and everyone of his kin is part of a failed monster experiment of the Deathmoon Family called Sheffyle Remuses, the series of which were cancelled before further production was made, due to certain bigger projects going on at the time.
In the alternate dimension of the Wondrous Land, his counterpart is one of the Queen's top Card Knights, and his name is Daemonai.
Lirus Trescale
Sarugeli Soleil
Mitan Soleil
Mimi Soleil
Roland and his merry crew
- Badass Crew: They managed to survive the widespread disease of Vespera together. But then... disaster struck.
- Ragtag Bunch of Misfits: Nobody would ever suspect a knight, a weapons-shop dealer, his pretty wolf humanoid wife and their son, a britishman, a rabbit man aristocrat, a beautiful but hard to manage noblewoman who eventually softens up to the group, an undead serial killer who becomes loyal to Roland, a nurse and a old rabbit archbishop accompanied by his adorable rabbit monster lady to team up and save the city.
- Foil: To the gang of bikers associated with Phil.
Roland Tamathel / Van Helsing
A soldier in the employ of the Nintendrian Royal Family. He's sent in to deal with a blackout problem in the city of Vespera, only to realize it's completely deserted. However, that soon changes when he finds that the city has been overtaken by a disease of sorts, turning everyone into blood-thirsty vampires. In his travels, he comes across the people who would eventually come to follow him in his valiant efforts to survive the outbreak, and even the people who would become his rivals.
At the end, he succumbs to the horde at the cost of defeating Idyuun, and turns into one of the only Nachzehrer who fight against them instead of with them. However, he goes all Batman and hides away because he can't show his face to anyone anymore, especially the Abyss Knights.
- A Father to His Men: Is competent as hell, and would not stop to fulfill his goal.
- Knight in Shining Armor
- Knight in Sour Armor: After he becomes Van Helsing, the vampire hunting Nachzehrer.
- Badass
- Badass in a Nice Suit: Complete with a Nice Hat, red trenchcoat and other stuff.
- Badass Normal: While the leader, all he has is light magic, a shotgun and his trusty Durendal broadsword. But that's all he needs.
Hector Vorne
Sarutenia Trescale / Malphas
Samuel Amestris / Fenrista Glacientae
Nicky Amestris / Kyuubida Blazention
Michael Amestris
Desmond Larchia
Erebus
Giselle Euphemi / Vrykolakas and Juniper
Raleous Renshault
Sayura and Velasquez's grandfather, who comes across Roland and his group in the second part. He's an archbishop for Adventa Church, and his age is definitely not something you should think to use as an advantage. Raleous is incredibly skilled with magic, rivaled only by Erebus and Pallas, and even as old as he is, he can still kick ass to the Nth degree. He always wonders how his grandchildren are doing, even in a desperate a time he comes across. He is accompanied by the Lemures rabbit woman, Pallas, who he had defeated by himself and was the person who taught her that she's on the wrong side, convincing her to be his student.
He is one of the only few who make it out alive or uninfected, along with Hector, Pallas and Michael.
- Alliterative Name
- Badass
- Badass Grandpa: And how! He's 70+ years old, but he's capable of rending apart hordes of infected people and not even break a sweat. Imagine what he must of been like in his prime... And then there's the part where he defeated a Lemures, Pallas, without help. This is especially impressive when the body count caused by a Deathmoon monster is usually in the double-to-triple digits, but he manages to absolutely pants her without trying. DAMN. No wonder why she grew to him and became his student.
- Badass Bookworm: He's very much informed, mostly due to his years of traveling the world.
- Badass Long Hair
- Badass Beard
- Cool Old Guy: And his granddaughter is Ms. Fanservice who also serves as the Badass Team Mom to the siblings... Need we say more?
- Church Militant: A high-ranking archbishop, no less.
- Curb Stomp Battle: Arguably, against Pallas. He even tells us that he even stopped her from even bringing out her second form by relentlessly attacking when he realized that she was going to pull out the big guns.
- Dangerously Genre Savvy: Though, due to his constant study and experienced age, that must be why.
- Inexpliciably Awesome
- Genius Bruiser
- A Father to His Men: Definitely takes it upon himself to serve as the guardian of the group. Must run in the family.
- Lightning Bruiser
- Super Speed: Well he is a rabbit person, even if he is old.
- Razor Floss / Whip It Good: He mimics Walter C. Dornez, being able to tear apart enemies with incredibly thin magic-created wires capable of cutting through steel. He also has an energy whip called Tyomnafring, which is passed down onto each archbishop as time passes by the pope of Nintendria.
- The Smart Guy
Pallas Mitena
A hyperactive Lemures rabbit woman who serves as the student of Raleous, because she was utterly bested in a battle against him and instantly grew to him, turning her over to the side of good. Easily the most powerful and sturdiest of the group, she is also immune to turning into a Nachzehrer due to her status as a Lemures, as Deathmoon monsters can't be infected by the RANTHEDIS disease. However, even with these advantages, she is not enough to defeat hordes of infected by herself, and relies on the help of her friends to really do some damage.
She, Michael, Hector and her master are the only people who make it out alive or uninfected out of the Epidemic trilogy.
- Action Girl
- Anti-Villain: Before she turned. Might explain why she shifted sides so easily.
- An Ice Person: Has the powers of frost.
- Badass Adorable: Out of the eleven survivors, Pallas is the only one immune to The Virus (second to Erebus), is ridiculously strong, and looks so damn huggable.
- Cute Bruiser
- Cute Clumsy Girl: While the most powerful of the eleven survivors, she's quite ditzy.
- Cuteness Proximity: Usually done herself, or gets absorbed in the cuteness of other things.
- Chekov's Bunny Gunwoman: Due to her keen rabbit instincts, she learns about things that would eventually be useful later on.
- Genki Girl: Is also the most energetic. Even if the world is burning up around her (and trust me, it does at one point), she still manages to keep her spirits high.
- Genius Bruiser: While she was outsmarted and defeated by Raleous along with her incredible airheaded nature, that doesn't mean she's not smart.
- Genius Ditz
- Giant Waist Ribbon: It's also white, as opposed to everything else she wears.
- Green Eyes
- The Immune: Cannot contract RANTHEDIS for beans. This is because she's already a Deathmoon monster.
- The Chick
- One-Winged Angel: Since her Lunar Legend suit is so goddamn strong and adds so much to her already high powers, it could be considered this for her.
- Laser Sword: Not just a laser sword, but a life-stealing laser claymore, which is taken up a notch in Lunar Legend by having 4 regular beam swords come out of her back ala Alice Twilight's weapon, the ASURA-6.
- Made of Iron: A standard for her species, if not all of the Deathmoon monsters.
- Moon Rabbit: Strangely enough, an example from the Deathmoon Family, of all people.
- Most Common Superpower: When she puts on the Lunar Legend suit, her bust seems to show off more than her regular clothes...
- Mini-Dress of Power
- Moe: Yep, she has this effect on the others.
- Lightning Bruiser: Due to Pallas's natural endurance, strength and rabbit speed, she's quite the formidable opponent. And then there's her One-Winged Angel form...
- Powered Armor: And by god, is it formidable. It is easily the fanciest piece of equipment in the series.
- Super Strength
- Super Speed
- Shout-Out: Her rabbit form is based off of Swiftheart Rabbit.
- Her human form is based off of the human form of Luna from Sailor Moon.
- The Lunar Legend armor she has is collectively inspired by tons of things, some of them from No More Heroes, Vocaloid, Lunar, among other things.
- Her laser claymore, the Vampire Lily, is actually based off of Travis Touchdown's initial beam katana, the Blood Berry, mixed together with Zelda's Master Sword.
- Took a Level in Badass: When she puts on the [Lunar Legend suit of armor, she doesn't play around anymore.
- You Gotta Have Blue Hair: Light blue, and the only one in the group to have so.
- Water Is Blue: Her colors consist primarily of blue and black.
- Zettai Ryouiki
The Lunardream Family
The holy empire that rules over Heaven, and the ultimate good guys of the story. They're the ones who serve as the people who keep the balance and lay down the laws for people to follow, while also serving as a Badass Crew, heavily enforced with their own personal army of monsters. They've been around like their Evil Counterpart, the Deathmoon Family, and aren't stopping any time soon. They have their own religion called Rantheism, which is the central belief of the Xephixerean people.
They have reincarnated gods which are born as the heroes of Starlit Heroics, namely Ranthael as Daniel and Aurelia as Danielle.
- Animal Motifs: Moon Rabbit, primarily.
- Big Good
- Badass Family: Who would eventually merge into the Nintendrian Royal Family, considering how the reincarnations go.
- Moon Rabbit: A heavily enforced and fitting theme to their setup. They even have a giant anthromorphic statue woman to prove this.
- Physical Gods: Well, obviously.
- Shout-Out: Their upside down crescent moon symbol is very reminicent of the one that appears in both Okami and Okamiden.
- Incorruptible Pure Pureness: Well, 85% of the time.
- Lunacy: When things go pear-shaped.

The Legendary Knights
The people that are the loyal army of Pandora, the goddess of life, and the people hired by Juno to be the guardians of the peace. They are countered by the Abyss Knights of the Deathmoon Family, led by Yami, but these guys are the real deal. Legendary Knights are indentified as having a title regarding a celestial entity (such as a god) or an infamous monster (such as Vanargand), and have something called Herota Crystals, which are basically the same as the Valiant Crystals the Abyss ones use, but there's no catch to them nor are they incredibly cheap, along with being the genuine article. According to Word of God, the Legendary Knights were based off of the Sailor Senshi from Sailor Moon, but with boys added into the mix.
