Superman

• The Ace: Deconstructed and Reconstructed.
• Boring Invincible Hero: Also deconstructed.

Spider-Man

• Butt Monkey: The movie segments depict the other characters spiking his milkshakes to create some pretty whacked-out trailers. He eventually lampshades it.

"What is it with all the free milkshakes lately?"

• • In the short where Batman argues with the Avengers over their 2012 movies, Spider-Man tries to promote his own, but no one listens to him at all, until he cheers for himself at the very end.
• The Chick: In After Hours.
  • The Hero: In Happy Hour.
• Deadpan Snarker
• The Determinator: Possibly even more so than in his actual comics! It took Batman revealing his past combined with Lance's brainwashing ability to take control of him, and even then the process was severely botched.
• Hero Worshipper: Towards Batman.
• Red Oni: To Batman.
• Trauma Conga Line: Lampshaded by himself in Happy Hour.

Batman

• Blue Oni: Blue to the entire cast.
• Broken Ace: In his own words, he's both an awe-inspiring crimefighter and one of the richest men in the world yet he has absolutely nothing, and can't imagine any future that doesn't involve him being alone.
• Cannot Tell a Joke / The Comically Serious: In all the years Batman has been on the show, he hasn't made a single proper gag.
• Crazy Prepared
• Dating Catwoman: Hinted at.
• Deadpan Snarker: With more emphasis on the "deadpan".
• Decoy Protagonist: In Zero Hour. With the speed and precision with which he takes control of the situation involving Lance's head, you could be mistaken for believing he's The Hero this time around. Turns out, he's a Supporting Leader.
• Good Is Not Nice
• Jerk with a Heart of Gold
• Only Sane Man: He is one of the few people that can put up with the antics of Deadpool. A feat that is rarely accomplished.
• Supporting Leader: In Zero Hour.
• The Lancer & The Smart Guy: In both After Hours and Happy Hour.

Iron Man

• The Alcoholic
• Berserk Button: Don't mention those Herpes rumours.
• Brainwashed and Crazy / Face Heel Turn
• Jerk with a Heart of Gold
• Selfish Good: Depending on the tone of the vid he's in. As he puts it, people kind of expect him to be a media whore.
• Really Gets Around: To the point of being a Robosexual.

Iron Man: She's a great bartender, Spidey. I made her myself. Spidey: Are you saying you've slept with her? Iron Man: No, I'm saying she's an android. Spidey: Oh. (Beat) But you have slept with her? Iron Man: (Casually) Oh, yeah.

The Incredible Hulk

• Brainwashed and Crazy / Face Heel Turn
• Gentle Giant: Despite his role as club bouncer, he's only ever attacked someone while brainwashed. He spends more time weeping over re-runs of his old TV show.
• Hulk Speak
• The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything: Hulk doesn't actually do any of the smashing we know so well from the comics... unless he's being controlled by Lance.

Deadpool

• Ax Crazy: Well, it's Deadpool. What did you expect?
• Breakout Character: Introduced to the series in early 2009, but didn't appear in any story videos. As of Zero Hour, he's now been promoted to The Lancer.
• Buddy Cop Show: He's the "bad cop" to Rorschach in "Rorschach & Deadpool".
• Fan Boy: Of Ryan Reynolds, but it's Played for Laughs.
• Healing Factor: Abused lots.
• Heroic Comedic Sociopath: Although he identifies as a psychopath.

Goblin: Look, we're just a couple of sociopaths - (Deadpool clears throat) - fine, a sociopath and a psychopath.

• Immortality
• Large Ham
• The Lancer: To the Green Goblin in "Zero Hour", and to Rorschach in "Rorschach and Deadpool".
• Medium Awareness: As usual...
  • No Fourth Wall: ... Although, it's gradually progressing into this. Everyone already knows they're fictional characters with movies being made about them, but he's the only one aware that he's an action figure in a web series, and comments on the editing, his yellow subtitles and the wait between episodes.
• Power Trio: With Lex Luthor and the Green Goblin, apparently.
• Professional Killer / Psycho for Hire

DP: What? I kill people. It's a perfectly legitimate business. Goblin: Killing's not legitimate! DP: (defensively) It's a business.

• Red Oni: To Rorschach.
• Yuri Fan: Founder of the Golden Girls Slash Fic fan-site.

Rorschach

• Blue Oni: To Deadpool.
• Heel Face Turn: Kinda... Basically Deadpool makes him look like the Good Cop.
• The Hero: In Rorschach and Deadpool.
• Made of Iron: He's been shot by Deadpool, and he still got back up like it was nothing.

Green Lantern

• Dude in Distress: In After Hours, he's kidnapped by Lex Luthor.
• Ret-Gone: Luthor wanted to do this to him and the entire Marvel universe.

Villains

Lex Luthor

• Big Bad & The Evil Genius: In After Hours.
  • The Dragon & The Evil Genius: In Happy Hour.
  • Big Bad & The Evil Genius: Again in Zero Hour thus far although his status as the former was called into question after the appearance of Darkseid.
    • The Smart Guy: His future self is this to the Green Goblin and Deadpool in Zero Hour.
• Curse Cut Short: "Motherf--!" in Zero Hour.
• Future Loser: And how!
• Heel Face Turn: His future self in Zero Hour.
• Magnificent Bastard: Deliberately invoked to be deconstructed in Zero Hour, as it is Lex's multi-layered Evil Plan that leads to the Bad Future.
• Ret-Gone: What he hoped to do to the Marvel Universe in After Hours.

Lance M. Donovan

An Original Character introduced in After Hours. He's revealed as Lex Luthor's spy early on. Is a douche. As it turns out, he's a demi-android created through S.H.I.E.L.D. and Cadmus technology; designed to be so realistic that nobody could suspect him of being mechanical. Most of the plots revolve around him in some way. Dude.

• ApocalypseDude:In Happy Hour, and Zero Hour.
• Flat Character: His personality consists almost entirely of saying "Dude" and "Dude. Sucks" to passers-by. Invoked by Lex Luthor, as Lance was designed to be the last person anyone would ever want to talk to or suspect of anything intelligent.
• MacGuffinDude: In every season.
• Meaningful Name: As the Nick Furys eventually realise, Lance M. Donovan is a Life Model Decoy, a type of android from the Marvel Universe but enhanced with Project Cadmus technology from the DC Universe.
• Obfuscating Stupidity
• Verbal Tic: "Dude" and "Dude. Sucks."

Lars M. Dusseldorf

Dubbed "Lance 2.0", Lars serves as a replacement for Lance after he is teleported to Apokolips.

• Jerkass: Way more of a douche than Lance ever was. Lance was just incredibly uninteresting, while this guy is actively snotty and insulting to everyone around him.
  • Well, to be fair, "everyone around him" usually means Lex, who definitely has it coming. Also justified -- Hail Darkseid, bitches.
• The Mole: Lex didn't even create him -- Lars just made him think he did. He really works for Darkseid.
• Smug Snake
• Suspiciously Similar Substitute: Dubbed "Euro Lance" by Green Goblin.
• Your Mom:

Luthor: Why did I make you this douchey, again? Lars: That's funny, your mother asked me the same thing last night.

The Joker

• Ax Crazy: Being The Joker, this is par for the course.
• Art Evolution: His toy changes after the events of After Hours.
• Back From the Dead: He's back in Rorschach and Deadpool #2 under the name of Joe Polachi.
• Bad Boss
• Brainwashed and Crazier: Hail Darkseid.
• The Dragon & The Brute: In After Hours.
  • Big Bad & The Evil Genius: In Happy Hour.
• Do Not Taunt Darkseid: With predictable results...
• Eviler Than Thou: Pulls this on Luthor, then falls victim to it courtesy of Darkseid.
• Laughably Evil
• Man in White: As Joe Polachi.

The Green Goblin

• Abusive Parent: His relationship with the (as-yet-unseen) Harry consists of them shouting insults at each other from different rooms. The sad thing is that this is a step up from some continuities. Here, it's Played for Laughs.

Fine, its your room! In fact we'll make it your own country! We'll call it Harrystan! Main import: Daddy's money! Main export: DISAPPOINTMENT!

Harry: Thats it, I'm going to Peters! Norman: Oh, you mean the son I wish I had? TELL HIM TO COME OVER!

• The Load -> The Big Guy: Starts out as just a tagalong in Happy Hour, but then gets promoted.
  • The Hero: And now in Zero Hour, he's been promoted to this trope... well, the designated one, at least.
• Berserk Button: Don't diss Willem Dafoe in front of him!
• Boisterous Bruiser
• Character Development: He went from being a villainous load to a competent fighter, and eventually the central character of Zero Hour.
• Cloudcuckoolander: After being drugged up in Happy Hour.
• Enemy Mine: Takes out Lex at the end of Season One because destroying Spider-Man and everything he stands for is his job.
• Ensemble Darkhorse
• Fan Boy: Of Willem DAFOOOEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!
• Fourth Wall Mail Slot: Goblin Bloggin'.
• Large Ham
• Noble Demon
• The Only One Allowed to Defeat You: Sees himself as this to Spidey, though they barely interact at all in this series.'
• Out-of-Character Moment: Lampshaded by Darkseid in Zero Hour #6, where he points out that Goblin's Randomverse personality is significantly deviant from his comic book personality.

Harley Quinn

• Dark Action Girl
• The Dragon & The Dark Chick: In Happy Hour.
• Extreme Doormat
• Mad Love: They even made a Twilight parody about it.
• Perky Female Minion
• Satellite Character: In After Hours.

Dr. Doom

• Evil Genius: Of course.
• Enemy Mine: He gives Batman the handlink that ultimately leads to Luthor's defeat.
• Out-Gambitted: By Luthor and the Joker during After Hours, and then again by Luthor in Zero Hour.
• Worthy Opponent: Possibly Luthor. He does admit that he'll never defeat Lex unless he matches his technology.

Darkseid

• A God Am I: Deconstructed, given that it's all in his head (since in reality he's just a comic book villain). He's still an extremely powerful being in-universe, however.
• Big Bad: Very possibly of Zero Hour.
• Eviler Than Thou: He vaporised The Joker.
• Eye Beams: The Omega Beams.
• Tomato in the Mirror: He doesn't realise that he's a fictional character. When the Joker gleefully tells him otherwise, he doesn't take it very well.
• The Stinger: His appearance At the very end of Happy Hour.
