Fire Emblem Elibe/Characters/Sword of Seals
Some or all of these characters need descriptions. A list of tropes is not a description. Please provide at least a few words telling how these characters differ from other characters with the same tropelists. |
The sixth game in the Fire Emblem series, the first one in the Elibe time, the first one for the GBA, and the last one to not be released in the west.[1] The game is set twenty years before its prequel Blazing Sword, and as such features several characters from said game and even more relatives thereof. It features an even larger playable cast than Blazing Sword and was the first Fire Emblem to introduce the popular support conversations.

- Estrogen Brigade Bait
- Kidanova: Thany, Lilina, Sue, Lalum, Cecilia, Sophia...
- Nice Guy

- Redheaded Hero
- Strong Family Resemblance
- The Hero and The Smart Guy: For his young age and lack of experience, Roy is pretty cunning in regards to politics (i.e.: he discovers almost by himself that Elphin was the missing Prince Mildain under a Spoony Bard disguise.)
- Although there are a few who think of him as Badass due to the fact that he can have six potential wives, the most that a lord can have in any Fire Emblem game.
- And once he actually gets the Sword Of Seals, he becomes a veritable killing machine.

|
Class: Transporter |
The man in charge of organizing the army's supplies and Roy's advisor.
- Older and Wiser: He's not as timid and fearful anymore as he was in Blazing Sword, but he also...

- The Strategist: For Roy.

A leader of a band of Mercenaries hired by Marquiss Eliwood to serve Roy. Also was a gladiator in the past.
- Badass
- Big Brother Mentor: To Klein.
- Big Fucking Sword: Starts with an Iron Blade and shows it in his artwork. While any character skilled enough with swords can use the "blade" weapons, Dieck is the only character (except maybe Perceval) able to use them effectively due to his high Constitution score.
- [[Crutch Character]: Often considered a second Jeigan on Hard mode for how solid his bases are. His growths aren't great however, making him fall off by the middle of the game.
- Expy: Of Ogma.
- Jack of All Stats
- Lightning Bruiser: Though his resistance could use some work, all his stats are very high, especially his HP.
- Master of None: On Hard mode however, his growth rates aren't enough to be considered "good" by the standards needed for Hard mode.

- Badass Long Hair
- But Not Too Foreign: Half Bern, half Sacaean. His Bernese looks get him spared from the Bulgar Massacre, as the armies mistake him for a Bern citizen.
- Expy: Of Nabarl; particularly notable in that he's the first ever playable outright Myrmidon,[2] the class effectively spawned by Nabarl's unusual-for-a-Mercenary build.
- Fragile Speedster --> Glass Cannon: As with all Myrmidons and Swordmasters, though his hard mode bonuses and low standards of his game mean he's actually pretty middle of the road in durability.

- Chivalrous Pervert: Which Dorothy doesn't like, at all.

Zealot
Class: Paladin |
The Captain of the Illian Mercenary Knights, who was hired by Hector and Juno's husband.
- Awesome Moment of Crowning: His long ending says he became the first King of Ilia.)
- Crutch Character: Notable for being worse than Marcus, the game's Jagen and coming about when Marcus stops being useful as a combat unit. Paladin is a strong enough class, especially on its utility merits, he'll remain usable however.
- Happily Married: To Juno.
- Hot Dad
- Nice Guy
- Man in White
- Non-Indicative Name: Despite his name, he never acted like a zealot.

- Daddy's Girl Too bad she's the daughter of a Sacrificial Lion.
- The High Queen: Or rather, the High Marquess/Duchess of Ostia.
