YouTube Poop started with SuperYoshi testing out Windows Movie Maker, a new piece of software he found in his newly installed Windows XP, using the episode "Recycled Koopa" from The Super Mario Bros. 3 cartoon. The result was a video containing a few clips from the episode repeated and used in a random manner. Later he put this video as The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 Remixed on December 22, 2004, up on his SheezyArt page. The video was well received and SuperYoshi together with his friend RetroJape made similiar remixes using The Megaman Cartoon and later Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog. A few more of SuperYoshi's friends joined and started putting their videos on YouTube in order to confuse and anger people who were otherwise looking for regular Super Mario or Sonic the Hedgehog videos. The first three Poops have been brought to YouTube later as I'D SAY HE'S HOT ON OUR TAIL, Dr. Light's Guidance System Show and Robotnik's Sodomy Fest of 2005, respectively.

Interestingly, three precursors to the YouTube Poop can be found in Daffy Duck in Hollywood, a 1938 short in which Daffy edits a film reel to produce this, Hockey Homicide and Cult Toons, a TV show made for Cartoon Network UK that mixed old Hanna Barbara cartoons like The Perils of Penelope Pitstop with wrestling, kung fu and blaxploitation movies for cheap laughs. Richard Nixon even put out an attack ad on Hubert Humphrey in the 1968 presidential campaign that bears a surprising similarity to Poop conventions.

It was not until people like The Electric Cheese got to know about these videos and started making ones themselves that the term Youtube Poop was used for them and that they increased in popularity.

With the growing popularity YouTube Poop shifted from being videos that confuse people who were looking for regular videos (in fact, the people who started it are more fond of "WTF?" comments than people commenting or repeating the parts they liked in the video and were dismissive of the term Youtube Poop for a long time) to videos that entertain people by using video sources that have become iconic with the name Youtube Poop.

YouTube Poop (often referred to by its shorthand, "YTP") is a Neo-Dada art form consisting of video remixes that are edited from a large array of video clips in order to confuse, stun or entertain the viewer. The source material can be mashed all together into a nonsensical Crossover story, or just repeat footage of the characters gesticulating oddly or apparently saying something dirty over and over and over again. There are also well-known phrases such as "PINGAS" or "Do a Barrel Roll!".

And these are just some of the many characters that are regularly "pooped".

And now even The BBC are getting in on it!!

See also Montage Parody, a more recent form of remix videos with a larger emphasis on video games and memes.

Popular Sources

• The Off-Model Cut Scenes from the infamous CD-i games Hotel Mario, Link: The Faces of Evil, and Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon.
• The opening quote is a mix between two phrases from Hotel Mario, in case you were wondering.
• The assorted Super Mario Bros. cartoons
• The Super Mario Brothers Super Show (Do the Mario!)
• The Adventures of Super Mario Bros 3, especially the episode where Mario and Luigi fight over Mario's record.
• The Wendy O' Koopa episode is favored as well.
• Super Mario World, especially the episode "Mama Luigi" ("That's Mama Luigi to you, Mario!").
• The episodes, "Rock TV" ("Bash a few blocks and rake in the buckaroos!"), "Yoshi Shuffle" ("It's a stone, Luigi! You didn't make it!") and "Cave Christmas" ("Santa isn't going on a diet!") are also particularly favored.
• The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, especially the infamous "Sonic Says" segment about sexual harassment, and Robotnik "saying" "PINGAS!".
• A clip from the episode "Sonic's Song" of Robotnik spewing Angrish ("DOY! SHOU!") is becoming increasingly common.
• Robotnik is an easy target for jokes in this source. Whether it be sharing a cozy hot cup of lapsang souchong tea, shouting WHY?!! WHY?!! WHY?!!, yelling "NO!" at his robot minions, or giving himself a "prrromotion!"
• Few people know that the "Diploma Dope" fad came from this source as well.
• The Dr. Rabbit cartoons by Colgate (A long saga of Colgate-Palmolive trying to get these off YouTube culminated in the very popular pooper WalrusGuy being banned briefly; his return was taken as a quiet admission by Colgate-Palmolive that the Dr. Rabbit videos could be used).
• There also exists a Dr. Rabbit flash cartoon as well as a Dr. Rabbit puppet show. Neither of which are as popular as the standard cartoons, but they still appear frequently in poops.
• Almost every other Dr. Rabbit YTP mocks the copyright infringement battles.
• I.M. Meen, an old DOS game animated by the folks who animated the CD-i games.
• The sequel Chill Manor is also used. Notably the ending cutscene where I.M. Meen "rapes" a chair.
• The Volvic Commercials with Tyrannosaurus Alan and George the Volcano: "I'm filling my water with volcanicity!" "Now, I'm off to eat someone's parents."
• Various Dragonball Z memes, such as "The ballls are inert" and IT'S OVER 9000!"
• Few people know that the "Shoop Da Whoop" (IMMA FIRIN MA LAZOR!!) fad came from a blackfaced picture of Cell.
• The scene with Vegeta in giant ape form is used frequently.
• Guess what? I'm gonna have you for lunch. Often used with dinner and breakfast from Volvic.
• As well as the scene in Super Android 13 where the titular villain punches Goku in the balls.
• The "WTF Boom" is rather often used in Poops, to the frustration of the pooping community, who consider it overused and predictable.
• Weegee, a singularly creepy image of Luigi derived from his weird sprite in the PC version of Mario Is Missing. Before this, Weegee was a standard Image Macro meme. (Nobody ever pays attention to Weegee!)
• Malleo, Walleo, and Walweegee have made appearances (For anyone wondering Malleo is like Mario, Walleo and Walweegee are good versions of Wario and Waluigi respectively).
• The infamous Rickroll video. (The music video to Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley)
• Also SpongeBob SquarePants, especially Moar Krabs (Jellyfish Hunter, anyone?), Skodwarde (Does this look unsure to you?), Spengbab (Spongebob's overly detailed face in WhoBob WhatPants) and the "DEUUEAUGH!" fish (Something Smells).

Songs

• The Benny Hill Theme
• El Mundo's "Chacarron Macarron" (a.k.a. "The Swedish Chef Remix" or HADUADUUDUEHAUDUAEDAA.)
• The Scatman song.
• "Soulja Boy" (particularly the part where they say, "YOU!")
• "Chocolate Rain" by Tay Zonday.
• "You Spin Me Right Round (Like A Record)" by Dead Or Alive. (This one particularly is heard when it shows a character going around in circles.)
• Eduard Khil singing, more commonly known as "Trololo".
• Dschinghis Khan's song "Moskau" is often used in YTPM Vs, like so.
• Simple Plan's Untitled song (a.k.a. "How Could This Happen To Me?")
• "Runnin' in the 90's" by Max Coveri. (this one is usually accompanied by that rainbow effect in Windows Movie Maker)
• Songs by Zuiikin' English (particularly, "I have a bad case of diarrhea.")

Commercials

• Billy Mays, Barry Scott, and Vince Offer commercials and infomercials. Most of them are Stupid Statement Dance Mixes.
• The Japanese McDonald's commercials. (Particularly the one where Ronald falls off the park bench, and the one with "Ran Ran Ruu!")
• The McDonald's commercial with Spaceman Stu.
• The Wilford Brimely "Diabeetus" commercials by Liberty Medical.
• The Kinder Suprise Chocadooby commercial
• The sound clip of "FUS RO DAH!" from the trailer for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (but rarely from the actual game) is often dubbed into videos where someone goes flying, often with the bit of the theme song that picks up after it and the narration preceding it included.
• The Old Spice Commercial

e

Miscellaneous

• Any of the mockbusters from Video Brinquedo, particularly Ratatoing.
• Dawn of War: Soulstorm has become a major source of Poops. The pure cheesiness of some of the character's speeches (SPEHSS MAHREENS! METAHL BAWKSES!) is truly worthy of it.
• In UK-based poops, footage of children's author Michael Rosen is frequently used, due to his unusual appearance and odd facial expressions and because the source videos consist of him talking for a long time without background music, making it very easy to sentence mix.
• At one time, Michael Rosen threatened to take down all the YouTube Poops because he didn't like how people were sentence-mixing his messages to have him say inappropriate things. Some poopers took down all their Michael Rosen poops in order to be safe, but eventually, Rosen lightened up and said his stuff could be used.
• One particular skit with Penn & Teller where Penn says, "Shut the fuck up!"
• Barack Obama's speeches are used often.
• The infamous video featuring Ugandan priest Martin Ssempa lecturing a crowd about the "evils" of homosexuality, more commonly known as the "EAT DA POO POO" video.
• Some dialogue from the Monty Python sketches and movies are used in poops.
• The DVD menus of assorted DVD's released by DiC Entertainment with Inspector Gadget instructing the users has become very popular amongst the sentence-mixers.
• Sadly Walking with Dinosaurs has been exposed to the pooping treatment.
• Justin Bieber has made some random appearances in poops.
• The infamous George W. Bush shoe throwing scene. Usually replaced with a character like Robotnik or Morshu throwing pingas or bombs respectively.
• Fish Hooks
• Various Hitler films and footage of his speeches.
• The Golden Book videos, especially the Sesame Street ones.
• Brutal Legend
• Nicolas Cage (The Bees! Not the Bees!)

Notable YouTube Poops are:

YouTube Poopers with their own pages:

Other Popular YouTube Poopers are:

Other variations/sub-fads include, but are in no way limited to:
• List Poops: A line from a certain source is repeated numerous times, with the noun or verb of the sentence changed to something different each time. For instance, the aforementioned Sonic Says segment has often been pooped this way so that he continually says, "Then, ya [verb]!"
• "And Who Are You Supposed To Be?": A variation of the list poop. A clip of a judge character (from the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog episode "Best Hedgehog") asking the title question is repeated numerous times, and each use of it is followed by a different clip as if the character featured is giving a response.
• Obey X, Destroy Y!: Another variation of the list poop. The list repeats a clip of Wario saying "Obey Wario, destroy Mario!" from the Super Mario Land 2 commercial, with the characters' names replaced by two different nouns each time, usually from the same source. Often, X is an evil thing and Y is a good thing (i.e. "Obey Cheatsy Koopa, destroy some grandma!" or "Obey Psycrow, destroy Earthworm Jim!"), but other times, it's a combination that just sounds silly ("Obey Mr. Turtle, destroy Mr. Owl!" or "Obey my cap, destroy club jackets!").
• Dinner-Spaghetti Poops: This is a term used to describe an unproffessional poop that contains overused memes, random meme-replacement, and barely any effort. Also known as Dinner-Spaghetti Faggotry or Spadinner poops.
• The X Dilemma: A situation is set up, then resolved anticlimactically, followed by an abrupt cut to a Vanity Plate (usually the one used by DiC Entertainment).
• Ear Rape: Turning up the volume randomly or distorting the sound heavily.
• Spaghetti Sus: Playing a word or line halfway through then reversing it.
• Tennis: one person produces a short poop, the other answers with another short poop mixed out of the first one and some own material.
• This Video is Better than X: A short clip, either something that's silly when taken out of context, absurdly trivial, or a super-short Poop, combined with a title that promises "This Video Is Better Than" something (a popular video game or movie, or another fad).
• "X Does Y While I Play Unfitting Music": The mutant love-child of Overly Long Gag and Soundtrack Dissonance. Sometimes mixed up with "While I Play Music That Totally Fits". Can rely on Mundane Made Awesome.
• "X's Microgames": Various actions featuring the titular Poop character set to audio from Wario Ware, along with said series' characteristic "Action!" commands. The Poops made with programs such as Adobe Premiere (and some with Movie Maker or even Wario Ware DIY Showcase for Wii) often include such items as lives, points, and boss games for added realism.
• "X Does Y For About Z Minutes": a short scene repeats for the indicated time. Kinda like above, except without music, but varying effects (slowed down, black and white etc). This one was made popular by the now-removed "Tigerzord Loses His Head For 10 Minutes" which used the clip from the Season 3 episode "Ninja Quest Part 1"
• Musical Fads:
• "Youtube Poop Music Videos", or "YTPMV": can be used to refer to either a fan music video made with clips from Youtube Poops, or a Stupid Statement Dance Mix made from YTP fodder. Occasionally their creators betray some genuine musical talent, as is the case with It's From the Show and others by igiulamam. The term "YTPMV" is also mostly applied to any pitch-shifted sound in sync to a song.
• "This Video Contains X": The original video was an image of Dr. Robotnik, as his infamous "Pingas" soundbyte was synced up to the Gourmet Race music from the Kirby series through pitch and speed changes. It was forced into a fad when the creator created a second one and said that it was fad material. However, this fad split two ways after that:
• Path 1: Another random character's head is super imposed on top of Robotnik's and a soundbyte from the new character is synced with the old music.
• Path 2: Robotnik's head is superimposed on top of another character's in another image. The "Pingas" clip here is synced up with a song relating to the series the new image is from. Because there may be multiple characters in this image, other characters from The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog may be placed upon them. A variation to this path is to instead use Morshu, and sync his "Mmmm" clip with music.
• Path 3: This father fad syncs up Japanese McDonald's commercials with another song. This fad gave birth to the above two fads, but is presently on its deathbed.
• "X Bonk": Similar to the above fad but with the superimposed head of The Scout from Team Fortress 2 yelling "BONK!" (and possibly "BOINK!") is synced up with another song.
• "U.N. Owen Was X?": A random clip is synced up with Flandre's theme from Touhou.
• Sparta Remixes: Sound clips from a character synced up to a techno song.
• "What is X?": Shows a clip of the famous Saturday Night Live sketch with Jim Carrey of the three guys in the car rocking out to the song, "What is Love?" only with the heads replaced with YTP characters and memes playing in sync with the music.
• "Pony Music Videos" (or "PMV's"): Basically YTPMV's but using clips from My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic.
• Other: These are just like the above fads, but are rare and often hidden inside of larger poops. In them, any random clip is synced with any random song.
• "Flash Poops": Telling stories starring the most well-known characters used in YouTube Poops by using tools such as Macromedia Flash.
• "#71519": Random sound clips are added to the 1st season opening of The Critic to make it look like the people in the clips are calling Jay Sherman, the main character, keeping with the theme of the show's opening Couch Gag. The name of the fad comes from the title of the video that spawned it, "Filler #71519".
• "Squidward": An image is distorted for 10 seconds, with the distortions aligned with the song Gentle Breeze from Trauma Center. Often times, these images involve the SpongeBob SquarePantscharacter the fad was named after.
• "Sonic's Hot, Sticky Fluids": Videos with weird titles that link to footage from Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog spliced to look like Sonic is masturbating on Robotnik. Other characters can also be shown doing this, including Scratch and Chowder.
• "THIS VIDEO WILL BE FLAGGED": A character repeatedly says and/or does something dirty, often by the means of Manipulative Editing.
• Collaborations: One person on the Youtube Poop forums organizes a "collab", when everyone must make a poop of a specific subject or doing a specific thing; for example, an Anime collab would be a collection of anime poops by several poopers compiled into one video (or more depending on the length). It's less likely for more popular poopers, and it's usually the obscure ones that enter these collabs.
• "Nooo...": In a clip of the character Buttercup from Powerpuff Girls cowering in fear of a sludge monster, Buttercup's voice is dubbed over and a different face is overlayed on the sludge monster.
• "Fucking": A scene progresses mostly as normal except that splices of the current speaker saying "fucking" randomly punctuate words.
• "_____ has been forbidden to speak": A long video clip is played in sequence but with every vocal sound removed through smash cut.
• "Nouns Replaced with X": Certain words of a clip (often the Hotel Mario intro) are replaced with another clip, leading to Mad Libs?esque dialogue.
• X's Y Rap: A character raps to their situation. Started by Ed's Grounded Rap.
• Cocaine: Replacing a word with the same word from a song. It also spawned a sub-fad called "Money" where you do the same, but with the line "We've got to have ... money!" said by the Villain of Tom and Jerry: The Movie.
• "Filler Poops": REAL short poops, made very quickly.
• "FCKED": A scene from The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 is shown, with one character's sentence quickly mixed so it sounds like they are saying the titular word (though not intended to accurately sound like "fuck"). After that a clip of Luigi saying "koop" (from "Koopa") is synced with a classic video game song.
• "file_name.extension": A character (usually Gwonam from the Zelda CD-i games) says the titular phrase, then the video abruptly changes to a quick repetition that flips and/or rotates instantly upon every repetition, and a random song plays without synchronization. Some videos are also named in the vain of "video.avi" for no reason.
• In a spin-off fad, the file name is the name of the song that plays at the end, and one or more characters (usually from Hotel Mario) say the name of the song. These usually end with King Harkinian saying or doing something odd.
• "X in G Major": A clip with the audio given the Voice of the Legion; generally invokes Hell Is That Noise and/or comments that involve Satan.
• "Patrick hates _____": Shows a clip from a Spongebob episode where a TV drops in from out of nowhere. What's viewed on the screen is a random video. Squidward comes by and watches some of it, but then Patrick turns it off and says, "I hate this channel."
• Unnecessary Censorship: Putting a bleep sound over innocuous words to make the sentence sound more dirty. A good example from an Aladdin one was Aladdin breaking the snake staff and telling the Sultan "Jafar has been BLEEP-ing you with this!" Considered lazy in recent days, what with the rise of sentence mixing.
• Many attempts at a "YouTube Poop: The Movie" have been made, becoming a fad in itself.
• "You Dare Not Agree with X?": The "Ren Snaps" sequence from The Ren and Stimpy Show, but with a random YTP character in Ren's place at the President's desk. Sometimes, the character's catchphrases (like Morshu's "Mmmmm" and Robotnik's "PINGAS!) are mixed into it.
• "______ Drops By Squidward's House." Squidward is shown bathing; after which point the door opens and another character or object is overlaid while Squidward screams.
• "Strike Up the Band!": The scene from Beauty and the Beast when Lefou strikes up the band for Belle and Gaston's wedding, only with a different song playing in place of "Here Comes the Bride".
• "______'s Sneeze of Doom": Shows a clip from a random movie or TV show where a character sneezes, but the sneeze instance is extended, and the audio is replaced with Sneezy's big sneeze from Snow White and The Seven Dwarves.
• "Guile's Theme Goes With Everything!" Not necessarily YTP-related, but still plays a random clip from any form of movie, cartoon, video game, etc. playing Guile's Theme from the Street Fighter series.
• A simillar fad is The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air fad where a music from a show or game plays alongside the theme song of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (at the same speed rate). The two will always fit together no matter what.
• Similar as well is are what's commonly known as either "Come on and Slam!" or "Quad City DJs vs X" videos, in which music from a show or game is spliced in with the theme song from Space Jam by the Quad City DJs. The accompanying video is usually an artwork or screenshot edited to include references to basketball and Shaq's face. And the results always manage to fit.
• "YouTube Poop Sucks!": At one point, someone made a video entitled "YouTube Poop Sucks!", which showed a silent brief clip of Robotnik having tea with his mother being looped for about 45 seconds. It then showed a different clip from that episode being played back and forth about 8 times, then back to the original clip for another 30 seconds, and then, the video got cut off just when something else was about to happen. When this video was posted, it started a chain of video responses that had the same style only using clips from different sources. This went on for about three or four days but eventually stopped.
• This Video Will Give You Nightmares: A seemingly normal scene (Usually from the CD-i games) involving a face closeup slowly turns into a face indicating rape or a gory/frightning face a few seconds into the video. A creepy ambience plays in the background for the extra effect.
• Mabe Village: A picture of a character is edited several times with the theme song of Mabe Village from The Ocarina Of Time.
• YTP RPGs: Flash poops where characters battle each other in a Final Fantasy style gameplay.
• "X tells the Queen of Hearts to shut up": Shows the Queen of Hearts yelling "OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!" and then shows another random character yelling back at her (usually its "Shut up!")
• Xcube: A character's Catch Phrase is played to the gamecube intro. EG Robotnik's PINGAS or Morshu's MMMM.
• Edd's Doorbell: A scene from Ed, Edd 'n' Eddy where Ed presses a doorbell. The ring of the bell is turned into a song of some sort like Tetris.
• Montage Parody: Parodies of video game montage videos from the MLG e-sports circuit, at least initially. Though not directly linked to YTPs, these nonetheless have more than a few similarities, with more recent ones blurring the line between the two.

Sentence-Mixing

Sentence-Mixing is something that has grown to be very popular in the YouTube Poop world. This is where they make a character say a completely different phrase by mixing around all his lines. Here are a few examples of some sentence-mixed jokes:

Hotel Mario

• The first spoken line in Hotel Mario is Mario saying, "Nice of the princess to invite us over for a picnic, eh, Luigi?" Poopers often joke that Mario is saying "Gay Luigi", as if he's calling Luigi gay.
• In the intro, Luigi breaks the fourth wall by saying, "And you've got to help us." The "got to help" part is often made to sound like he's saying, "Go to Hell."

Zelda The Wand Of Gamelon

• During the intro, the King says, "My ship sails in the morning." which is commonly-used to make the King say "shit".
• During the intro, the King says, "If you don't hear from me in a month..." which is for some reason commonly-used to make him say "munf".
• Zelda's last spoken line in the game is commonly mixed to have her say, "Nothing, Link. We were just about to have a fuck."

Link The Faces Of Evil

• The part where the King says, "How can we help?" is particularly used to have him talk about the Nintendo Wii.
• Link saying, "I'll grab my stuff!" is popular for sentence-mixers.
• The part where Link says, "How about a kiss for luck?" is used to make Link say, "Fuck".
• Few poops have made Gwanom say, "Holy crap!"
• Morshu's couple lines could sometimes be mixed to have him say "boobies". As a matter of fact, Morshu's two lines have been remixed to have him say just about anything, sexual or otherwise.
• Glutko's line, "Tastes like a Daira!" is often used to make him say, "Tastes like diarrhea!"
• Goronu's "Wake up sleepy bones. Find the living and cut their vile throats""Cut" is used to make him and others say the "C Word"
• Gwanom saying, "Come." at the end of the game is used to have him say, "cum" instead.

The Super Mario Bros. cartoons

• There's a popular part from the episode, "Yoshi Shuffle" that's used to make Mario say, "Shit!"
• The episode, "Gopher Bash", has another popular "cum" usage when Cheatsy Koopa says, "At last, my time has come!"
• In "Mama Luigi", Yoshi's line, "Yoshi no like meatballs!" is commonly used to make someone talk about balls.

Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog

• As stated above, the Sonic Says about sexual harrassment is really popular for sentence-mixed lines. Various different types of messages have been made from it.
• Probably the most popular one: In the episode, "Boogey-Mania", Robotnik saying "Snooping as usual, I see", is made to make him or other characters say, "penis".
• Another popular way to make this word is in the Christmas special, which is taken out of Robotnik saying a line about happiness.
• The user, Boogidyboo, popularized the usage of the phrase "Chocolate-covered cock" in Robotnik poops.

Dr. Rabbit's World Tour

• This source has been sentence-mixed to death by many poopers who have made Dr. Rabbit say many inappropriate or sex-related messages. The most popular ones are "ass" (taken from "acid") and "CUM!" (taken from "Australia, here we come!")

Volvic Commercials

• A lot of poopers like to have George the Volcano say, "My handsome volcano cock" in these types of poops.
• When Tyrannosaurus Alan says "I've only got a brain the size of a pea". Pea is made to refer to urine.
• It is also popular to make George or Alan say "cum" from "Come on world".
• "My birds" and "grabs life by the conkers" are very popular.

Ed Edd and Eddy

• Eddy saying, "A dickie?" is particularly favored.

Arthur

• A lot of Arthur episodes and computer games are popular to make sentence-mixed jokes about sex or pedophilia.

Green Eggs and Ham

• This source is popular to get characters to say "sex".

The Critic

• The Orson Welles sketch where he talks about green peas and that they're filled with "green peaness" is extremely popular.

One Hundred and One Dalmatians: The Series

• Cadpig saying "cum", which is from the episode, "Four Stories Up".

Mario Teaches Typing 2

• A lot of sentence-mixed jokes have been made with this source. Some examples include:
• "Watch out for falling shit!"
• "Get ready to move your penis!"
• "I think you're going to be a great rapist!"

I.M. Meen

• Two popular phrases that came from the game's opening theme song are "I've got a little penis", and "This book is made to suck!"

Beauty and the Beast

• Gaston's tavern song has had an infinite amount of sentence-mixed jokes.

Thomas the Tank Engine

• A lot of sex jokes were made with sentence-mixing on this source, mainly by (now-defunct) pooper WTL Network, who created a "swear pack" which he made available to download. The swear pack was promptly spammed by about 80% of Thomas poopers, robbing most of their poops of any shred of originality, resulting in WTL Network coming to regard releasing it as an Old Shame. Some commonly used sentence-mixing jokes include:
• Portraying the Fat Controller as being in homosexual relationships with any number of characters, most notably his butler. Occasionally his name is changed to "The Fat Cunt" or "The Fat Troll" to accompany this.
• The Fat Controller is debatably the most popular Thomas Youtube Poop character, who in addition to the above is often portrayed as being either a Memetic Badass, a Cloudcuckoolander, or an anime fan (or sometimes all three).
• The engines themselves are all usually portrayed as sex-crazed lunatics, despite their lack of genitalia.
• Sentence-mixed sex jokes are notably mostly confined to poops using Ringo Starr's narration, due to laziness and the availability of pre-set swear words (although a Michael Angelis swear pack is also available, it is less abused).

Mario's Fundamentals

• Some popular sentence-mixed phrases from this source include:
• "That's a gay game!"
• "No! Fuck you!"
• "Big boobs!"
• "I'm a gopher!"
• "Mario has to pass gas."
• "Here's-a your boner!"
• "You suck!"
• "That's-a going online!"

Too Smart for Strangers

• Most common for this source is Tigger saying, "Fuck you," to random characters and Pooh telling Piglet that he wants to touch his butt.

The Hunchback of Notre Dame

Inspector Gadget's DVD Menus

• These have become very popular with a few sentence-mixers, who have made countless different messages with this source, but some particular favorites are:
• "Move the glow around my butthole."
• "You asshole"
• "If you want to watch the episodes with the English subtitles on, you suck."

My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic

• Some specific poopers have managed to sentence-mix this source to death to make the characters say just about anything sexual or otherwise.
• One thing that's really popular with poopers is having Twilight Sparkle say, "For fuck's sake, Spike!", which is actually mixed with a line said by another character that Tara Strong voiced on a complelely different show.

Team Fortress 2

• The "Meet The Team" videos have been sentence-mixed so much due to all of the lines in each one making for good snowcloning material (for example, using Meet The Heavy: "It cost $12 to touch my gun...for 400 seconds."). Some poopers will even use voice clips from the game itself, providing even more sentence-mixing shenanigans.

Brutal Legend

• Dinner Warrior discovered that the narration of this source could be sentence-mixed to say anything at all.

Tropes commonly invoked with these videos:

Gwonam: It is written that only Link can defeat Ganon and Link is in space.
[Beat]
The King: We're going to be under attack by the evil forces of Ganon!
Gwonam: Now you finally get it.

Ganon: I will make your face DIE.
Gwonam: My face...
Ganon: Your face.
Gwonam: ...will die.
Ganon: Will die.
Beat
Gwonam: Fuck.

• Comically Missing the Point: In many instances. For example, take any scene, and zoom in on some person or object in the background or off to the side, and make a big deal of it. Another great example is how important the wheeze is from the line "That's 'Mama Luigi' to you, Mario! *wheeze*"—important enough that commenters will observe when it is missing. This may also be used to point out Off-Model moments.
• Complete Monster: Dr. Rabbit is often made into one in poops. Contrary to what some think, it wasn't started in response to the saga involving Colgate making copyright claims for the videos containing the character, but after it was through, a lot more people started portraying him as such.
• Continuity Nod: Happens rarely, but some poopers do reference events in previous poops.
• Crap Saccharine World: Due to the nature of Youtube Poops, this usually happens to the setting that they take place in. A notable victim of this trope is Hyrule, which is often portrayed as a seemingly stable kingdom but ruled by a tyrant and his often depraved royal servants. Recently, Equestria is also getting this treatment in poops, not really helped by the fact that the Princess which rules over it has been dubbed "Trollestia" by the fans of the actual show.
• Deadpan Snarker: Not as common of an archtype as you would think, as most characters in YTP tend to ignore the "deadpan" part and outright snark or insult another character. As a result, those who appear in vids almost exclusively as one are usually such in canon, such as Kyon from Haruhi Suzumiya and Frollo from The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
• Department of Redundancy Department: Many poops have a character repeat themselves.
• Depending On The Pooper: a result of Alternate Character Interpretation. Some characters can go from being a Jerkass in one poop to a The Ditz or a Reality Warper in others.
• Deranged Animation: Poopers like madanonymous excel at this.
• Drop the Cow: A popular way to end YTPs, especially the Everything Explodes Ending subtrope.
• Everyone Is Gay: Happens a lot, and when it does, it's turned Up to Eleven. The King's Secret is a good example.
• Exactly What It Says on the Tin: Many YTPs have titles this easily applies to, often because there isn't much to describe. This applies especially often to titles of the form "X does Y for Z minutes." (Sometimes with an added note about fitting or unfitting music played.) This would be an example.
• Fanon: Hyrule's royal family living in Ludwig's Castle Hotel from Hotel Mario, among many others.
• King Harkinian's "Munf Munf" cereal is another that has transcended to become fanon, as well as his "Dinner Blaster".
• Fan Vid and Hate Vid
• Food Porn: Harkinian has a fetish for DINNER. Not to mention Luigi's for SPAGHETTI, Mario's for TOAST, man, the list goes on and on...

"Dinner, dinner on the floor
You are what I'm striving for
I'll rub mah dick and think of you

Yes I get turned on by food"
King Harkinian, "The King's Dinner Poems"

Luigi: I hope she made lots of spaghetti!
